Well, I can tell you, unless you price it at $1000 or everyone says it doesn't work, it's a guaranteed buy from this corner.

I can definitely say that my Skype chat group is all abuzz and on fire about this thing. They just prolly aren't posting comments here right now, but I do know that one went and bought LAMH yesterday just to be able to use this.

We are here, credit cards at ready, poised to attack the store as soon as we get a glimpse of it.

    Just when.

    When.

    Oh god when is "soon"?

    Da, are we there yet?

    *sigh*

    I'm already bending over...

    ...and saving my pennies.

    When.

    Is it soon now?

It looks like it could be.

Im looking for an emoticon here to indicate humor, Im not seeing any though.

Is this really going to be at the 3000$ mark?

It would still make a bargain compared to Optitex's dynamic clothing tools rate

Alessandro is our pricing person. He's the one who will decide those things. So, everyone needs to be nice to him.

And... no, it's not going to be $3000. It's going to be $3000 *and* a kidney.

As somebody who has been following your progress on this project from the start...

I'm salivating. I don't know where you're planning to price it, but I'd probably go up to $100 for it if there was a way to make our own and not be dependent on other hairs or plugins (I don't own LMH or any hair plugin). Above that, I'd have to think long and hard. I'm not exactly wealthy xD

I am definitely interested in this and even more so in a dynamic clothing plugin *hint* :)

I think what would actually help to increase the use of LAMH and in turn raise the interest in LAMH and this dynamic hair plugin would be more G2 hair presets - be it paid or free. For example at the moment I do not have the time to properly design hairs for my characters on my own, but I would definitely stick to presets if available.

I highly suggest people feeling daunted by LAMH give it a shot, and particularly experiment with density maps (fiddle with it, save it, then go look at the file and fiddle with it more).

I was really overwhelmed by LAMH editing for a while, but lately been experimenting... and, you know, it's not really that bad. (It's finicky and prone to crashing, but there are ways to avoid that -- basically, don't try to save files with LAMH, just save presets and apply as desired).

For short to medium hair, curly hair, afros, and similar, it's actually... pretty easy to use.

Now for long hair, something like this product is pretty necessary. Trying to move LAMH around shoulders and armor and whatnot... ugh.

And may be as another extension, something like in this video: dynamic hair

This thread is worth a mini necro, IMO. More visibility! More hype!

Dynamics in DS are my passion, and I stick to any progress on it like white on rice :3

Yes please, some updates surely would cheer our minds, for it is quite gloomy and rainy spring over here, and perhaps some instanced flowers dynamically swaying in wind would be awsum. :D

I would settle for another drape of the strands set to music in slow motion.
