Am I missing something, I clicked on the link in this post and the page shows me that Carrara 8.5 Pro is only 40% at $171.00.

Hello shaykall, I think you have missed the sale as Brute 8 is now showing up at the top of the sales page. If you are a PC member you should be able to pick up Carrara Pro at a nice price, it's showing up as $27.30 (-91%) for me with PC membership.
Daz pricing is confusing, and memberships and previous purchase discounts can make prices vary from person to person. As of now (10:44 EST), the price for Carrara 8.5 Pro shows as $27.30 for me also. Note, po price is significantly less than standard, so might check if that is the issue.
This is the downside of living in Australia we are further behind than the cost of living :))
