Does anybody know if there are any sample videos of what these tools do? Can someone explain in particular what the Body2Hip tool does. I am wishing that it is a tool to help combat sliding feet.

Yeah, I'm looking at this too and am hoping for a video or something to show us exactly what this does.
Sounds to to me like yet another commercial product that pretty much does the same thing as one of MCasual,s free scripts. I'm hoping it is something significant though.
Has anybody figured out what these tools can even do yet??
Right out of the readme:
Personally, I'm someone who needs to see something sometimes to understand it instead of reading text. Everything in that paragraph I get the concept of, but I can't picture how it works in my head or how it can benefit my workflow. I'm sure once I see the whole Body2Hip thing in action I'd go, "Oh, I get it! " But right now I'm missing something.
LOL, exactly Bennie. I think we all saw the readme right off the bat, but it does little to convey what the results of applying the script will actually produce visually. So the body rotation matches the hip rotation what exactly does that look like for a full animation. What significant benefit is gained from the script? Significant being the key word.
I do have to agree with the general consensus, a video of what the product can do, in this case, would be most beneficial. They do have a YouTube channel so maybe there will be a video made, can always hope.
LOL I guess they heard us cause we now have 3 video's explaining the options in this new pack. Thank you very much 3D Universe for answering our request for more information.
I can't be sure, but there might be a forth video about the Body2Hip also mentioned in the decription.
Nice! Thank you for sharing this! And thanks to 3D Universe for making these. I'll be checking these out when I get home later on!
Very helpful videos showing intent and features. Body2Hip video would be nice just to confirm assumptions, though 'seems' self-explanatory Thanks 3dU for making.
PS. Was hoping that path-plotter with dots allowed live animation manipulation on timeline, but all this is already a big step. Cool beans.
Just watched these and this helps so much. The animation stripper script would be used so much on my end, and, of course, the follow focus. The path plotter is neat as I've been learning how to use that in Maya recently, so it'd be cool to have that as an option in Daz as well. Hopefully there's a video done for the Body2Hip just so we can see how to use it properly, but from these three videos, I'm sold.
Wow, Thank you Faeryl Womyn, this so much more informative than a vague read me file. Still anxious for the Body2Hip video.
Just tested. Body2Hip works exactly as described. If you have a pose (depends who and how they made the pose) and your poor character moves any which way other than the way you would think while translating, well this works instant for static and timeline animations by transfering translations to the hip.
Previously you had to parent this posed body to a group to be able to move it. The other past product for Body2Hip in this case was much slower and had issues and wasn't meant for timelines with multi-poses. Still awesome some of the other things the other product did.
And Animation stripper is awesome. Much sought after feature has finally arrived, without all the previous hoops and work-arounds.
I just picked it up but it won't load the script, then I looked at the product page and it says compatible software, Daz 4.20 and I haven't upgraded yet, so maybe that's why nothing will work. I tried all four. I'll upgrade the beta tomorrow to 4.20 to see, I don't want to upgrade the main version yet as I'm in the middle of a project.
I was hoping to test out this body2hip thing because even though you explained here, Saxa--SD, I still can't wrap my head around what it's doing, I'm hoping for a video or to get the script working so I can play around with it and see what it's doing. Like, do you mean the character moves in wonky positions between keyframes that normally you'd have to highlight the keys and change TCB to linear and then back to TCB so that it's fluid, and this script does that automatically?
Use DS Beta 4.16.1.43 still and works normal with this script (the save path changes with 4.20 have me staying away atm, despite recent changelog to fix this).
Yup am very visual too.
Depends if you have any wonky poses?
The figure (or body) should always be left alone (except for heels or other height adj) so that you can translate it normally throughout the scene as you need (move roatate etc). Simple example is you wanna move your figure a bit to the left (static or timeline). With a wonky pose that figure won't move left as you think. It moves wonky and you'll say what the heck.
See if you have any laying down poses especially, and see if any of them have translations on main figure. If yes, try to move it and see wonky! After that load up that troublesome pose again and run body2hip. Saved mine afterwards with Riversofts Assembly Pose saver and now pose works right away properly. Move figure again normally!
Don't think there's anything more?
Anybody found any videos on Body2Hip yet?
Thanks for the video links! I was surprised there weren't any on the product page and even checked the Facebook page when it was first released. (The product wasn't even announced there.) I used studio 4.12 and am waiting to hear back from 3D Universe whether it will work or not.
I must have had a weird glitch on my end as the next day I woke up, restarted my computer and the script worked just fine on 4.16. Not sure why it didn't work originally but I've learned to not question technical issues sometimes lol. Still waiting for a video on the hip thing. I tried it and it moved my character for one frame far away from where they were and then the next frame they were right back where they were originally so I'm stumped. But the other three scripts in the package I totally can use, I've just got my fingers crossed we'll still get a tutorial for the hip script.
We have posted several videos on 3D Universe Youtube Channel
Hi @3D Universe, these videos are very helpful, but do you have plans to make one on the Body2Hip? I just rechecked your channel and don't see one. I got the script and I can't figure out what exactly it does after playing with it except it moved my character somewhere else in the world for the one frame I used the script and then the character went back to where they originally were the next frame. The other three scripts are pretty awesome, I just really need to see an example of what the hip one does.
I agree Bennie I am still wanting to see a sample video of that as well.
I suggest hitting the subscribe button for the YouTube channel, then you get updates when a video is released, You should do so for other PA's as well. I also subscribe to Sickle Yeilds channel, not only for product video's but also for all the tutorials that are offered and for free.
We have some videos on our Youtube Channel
You do, but not on the script we're all asking about which is the Body2Hip tool.
I don't own it yet, but I feel like maybe the confusion is happening because of the word "Body"?
It seems like it's meant to take any currently set Figure's (Body's) Main Translations/Rotations and move them into the Hip's Parameters (also mixing them with any already set Hip Translations/Rotations if needed), so that you're left with the same pose, but now you have your Figure's Main Parameters all set to Zero, so you can now Translate and Rotate the Figure for animation purposes.
Some purchased Poses are created by setting values in a Figure's "Main" as well as "Hip" Translations/Rotations to get the desired pose, so for animation if there are especially Rotations set in both places, more than likely if you were to try to animate the Main Rotations, it's not going to rotate on the Axis you'd expect.
Wherever animators understand this need and have this need, it's pretty sweet (assuming that I'm correctly understanding what the script does).
I plan to grab it like all amazing 3DU products that add sorely needed functionality to DS and can't wait to find out if there'll be a Set 2, 3, 4? :D
Yep like many I purchased the product, but a video of the Body2Hip tool would really be extremely helpful. They did three other videos, why not the last one.

Ive been lurking this thread for a while, I am interested in these tool. specially the "Body2Hip" script that has got to be easier than doing it by hand for every character when using BHV files. I watched the videos you had posted last night. . The videos were a huge help 3DU thanks for posting them. I will properly buy these tools the next time they go on sale & I have a little money. I use the limb-stick & spring dynamics script with pretty good success, so I can only imagine these script tools will be just as helpful as limbstick
thanks for making the videos it was a big help

Does anybody know if somebody has made any tutorials on the Body2Hip script yet? 3DUniverse has already posted a video of their next possible project but still has not given us an explanation of the Body2Hip script yet. Has anybody been able to use the script and share their results? Thanks!
