It's no secret I'm a big fan of Unshaven 2. Here is a close-up from my latest render, where I applied the Bleached Blonde shader to Julius Hair and the Snow White shader on Asteria Hair. I did not apply shine to either, but I did apply the SSS to Julius Hair. The image is backlit with a warm distant light and the angel's hair positively glows. Better than adding a halo. The gray hair of the old woman looks soft and realistic, and I think it really helps to accentuate the glow of the angel's hair. The shaders may not work "one-click" with all the hair objects, but when they do, it's a slam dunk. (IMHO)

This is just a real quick out-of-the box test using unshaven for G2M on Aiden, tthe G3M character.
Here is Michael 7 with a G2M hair and the Mech4D unshaven beard on him. It is a WIP as M7 is not posed yet.

It autofits very well so even if it's not released right away or at all the current one should work either way will post my picture once it's done rendering
What I'm wondering is whether the original Genesis version can autofit to G3M. There were a couple of styles in that one that were not duplicated in the G2M one.
Here is G3N with unshaven 2 beard, i have the same picture rendering now with the beard for Genesis, I will post when it's done it in the morning I will post that one
Oh good. The newer version has a lot of things that are real improvements, but it is missing a couple of styles that aren't duplicated.
What I love is using the new shaders on the older version. Hee.
Ok, so here is the Genesis M5 beard, same shader used.
So does autofitting either Unshaven 1 or Unshaven 2 to G3M make the beards follow expressions?

When you use autofitting, do you select 'hair'? I'm thinking of dropping a chunk of change on this product, but I've never worked with beards and autofit. Thanks! Denise
when i autofit the Gen2 unshaven on G3 male, I just ignore that bit and choose the "genesis 2 male" and that's it. Works pretty good.

I bought Cath's Santa over at mec4d.com for a Christmas card I was designing. I posted a variation in my gallery. I'm sharing it here because I used the "snow white" Unshaven 2 hair shader on the hair, (eyebrows and beard,) and the fur. The fur on the hat turned out exceptionally good, don't you think?
Unshaven 2, (and the iray hair shaders,) continues to be one of my all time favorite products. Thank you again, Cath, for this wonderful product.

Just got Unshaven 2 yesterday and have been playing with it today. Currently rendering an Unshaven 2 beard and mustache combination on G3M Leo variant (I can't help but play with dials). Doing a male pinup for the Raining Men Contest. He looks great so far. Rendering in Iray. Just guessed at autofitting and it seems to have worked fine. I haven't tried using the Unshaven for Genesis on G3M yet. I might have to play with that later.

I have to say that I love this product. It is working perfectly on G3M, too. Any chance that you might do a body hair version that will work with G2M and G3M? Would love that.
For what it's worth, I've had great results with Real Hairy for Genesis ( http://www.daz3d.com/real-hairy-for-genesis ) on Genesis and Genesis 2, and I just tested it with G3M and it looks ok (though nipple placement is an issue for chest hair)
And it looks great with Unshaven 2 shaders. ;)
Next time it is on sale, I'll get Real Hairy and give it a try. Just posted my entry in the It's Raining Men contest with my G3M model using Cathy's Unshaven Beard. It worked GREAT!!!! I didn't have to do any serious tweaking other than all of the Groom Room stuff that you would do for any figure and it looks great in Iray. Best purchase decision I made this month!!!
