I thought the bubblegum was a joke too. It’s literally just a sphere! In the past the April Fool jokes were actually something, weird but potentially usable. This looks like it’s literally just a cube. Is it even worth downloading? Is it just a primitive cube or is there a fun surprise to it?
I really like the Qube, but I sort of shudder at the idea of having to buy all the add-ons needed to get the most out of it -- expressions, animations, dForce clothing, etc. I've just about managed to build up a decent library of content for G8. I don't know if I can afford to start buying for a whole new figure.
I also think it's unreasonable that you have to buy the Qube Pro bundle if you want to get the Anatomical Elements for Qube. I don't do any of that sleazy stuff you find at you-know-where, but I do make the occasional render with 'artistic nudity', and there's nothing sillier than a Platonic solid that's "incomplete", if you know what I mean.
Does the Qube come in grey?
Yeah, but the texture maps are super hi-res, so you'll either need to have an RTX 3090 or you'll have to find a way to downscale them. I tried rendering a gray Qube on my machine, and Iray immediately fell back to CPU rendering, which took forever. Worth the wait, though.
I find it takes custom textures well.

I was hoping for DAZ Sphere myself....
I heard from a good source that they are actually using deleted default cubes from Blender. At least the cubes now get a second chance!
Finally we got our Millenium Qube.
Very reasonable price considering the amount of work it must have taken to make it.

Hey gang. While you're all waiting for HD morphs, dForce hair and a fabulous set of hot pants for your new qube, perhaps you should consider contributing your stunning art pieces to the Qube Games.

In the past they've done things related to the latest Daz stuff, the Deflatebale Donkey when dForce was new, the V8 engine when everyone was waiting for Vicky 8. I was hoping for some sort of joke volumentric item.

Something's wrong with my Qube... I can't seem to get it to look like the Promos!
I'm still upset with Daz and how much they've increased prices. The Cube isn't worth it for the price. It should have been bundled with a Sphere and Pyramid product.
