Has anyone actually bought the cube?  It's a pretty expensive cube. Is that the price of being gullible?

Its free, it zeroes out at checkout.

Oh I think we've nearly all bought it! I for one have been waiting for a really good cube model for years. Thank you for meeting that need at last, KindredArts!

(But seriously, I love those promos - I guess those efforts were where the $99.95 went wink)

This isn't my first rodeo, so I bravely put the pricey cube in my cart and was not disappointed

Kindred Arts and DAZ, the promo shots are great! I was glad to have something to chuckle about for a change. And the comment here are pretty hillarious too.

BTW, the Invisible Chair was the same price inn the cart. So a double Happy April Fools!

Put it in your cart and see what price you get. BTW don't bother with what you see in the box that appears when it goes into the cart, that often gets prices wrong for most things.

  • Thanks Daz for the great deal today.  I saved $11,399.95 on my purchase today.  Now that is a truly Mad discount! cheeky

But it is worth every penny of the in-cart price.

Jokes aside, that availability countdown would be handy to have more often.

So has anyone done a thorough review on the Qube vs the cube primitive? I am still on the fence of buying it! laugh

I'm waiting to see if a bundle with a texture pack comes out later today. I need Storm Cloud Gray.I don't want to pay $0.00 now and find out it is cheaper in a bundle later!

Sorry for not being a native English speaker, but could somebody explain to me the meaning of that last word? I tried looking it up on Merriam Webster, but it returned some "entry not found" thing.

Easily mislead. A "fool" if you will.

Wow, we've all been complaining about Daz raising prices and lowering discounts, but today's Qube takes the cake! When it came out, store sale price was $55.98. Kind of expensive, but worth it for what you got. Then a little later Daz raised the store sale price to $5600.00! There's the proof, people. Price increases are REAL in the Daz store. cheeky

I think the Qube is best rendered large and at SubD 4.

Well, with a reaction like that, I think I'd better put this into Qube Games! laugh

There appears to be irregularities in the pricing structure for Qube. In light of this issue, i've dispatched a team to the Daz3D offices in ... i donno canada or something? I'm sure this problem will be resolved in no time. Thank you for your patience.

I've just received word back from HQ.

    No.

Hey, but this is not right. I got the cheap 100$ knock-off this morning, and now people are getting a 10000$ marvel? That's not fair. I bet the new one includes the promo textures and the gold gray material as well.

Submit a ticket. They'll probably give you the unrealized additional discount back in unspendable store credit.

I'm missing a stone grey shader for the Qube. Can't the PA deliver that color? Besides, Qube needs to be integrated with Measure Metrics. Is anybody interested in doing the upgrade?

Polyhaven are passing off a Blender default version but it does have 8K textures

I'll have to submit a ticket. The gray materials, as shown in the promo image, were NOT included in the package I downloaded from DIM. crying

Will we have to wait for the QUBE Pro Bundle to get the naughty bits?
