It looks like you're getting a small additional discount on the other two items, but I don't know offhand whether or not it's the correct amount.
For what it's worth, my stacking discount meter is stuck at 12% despite a qualifying purchase yesterday, so there might be a problem with that offer. But the coupons were so good yesterday and today that I can't really bring myself to complain about it.
They are advertising it again today.
I'll report it.
Yeah i know but the cold shoulder outfit is discounted from 1.99 to 1.95 meaning only 2% discount which is far from 8% claimed for 4 days..
I did do an inquiry, but you may need to do a ticket.
It may well not be meant to be working on those special prices, I see the ciorrect 8% on a non-new items that is not on a special price sale. Edit: actually I do get 8% off the clearance item too. What happens if you put an item at a regular 50% discount in your cart, does that go from 50% to 54%?
The product page for "Shoes Remake for Genesis 8.1 Females Pack" (https://www.daz3d.com/shoes-remake-for-genesis-81-females-pack) lists only Genesis 8.1 Female as a Compatible figure, but it should list Genesis 8 Female also. I tested it on G8F and it works fine. I think G8F was left off by mistake.
Compare to the similar product "Shoes ReMake 2 for Genesis 8.1 Females" (https://www.daz3d.com/shoes-remake-2-for-genesis-81-females): It lists both.
...well went ahead and added another item yesterday evening to make the cart total above the 10$ minimum (with the coupon figured in) just for "insurance".
Last time there was a Stack Up offer something glitched and I was docked a day twice (once when somehow on the final weekend the "Daz clock" was set to UTC instead of UTC -6 for Mountain time) for some reason and then couldn't progress past Day 6.even though I made purchases that Thursday and Friday.
Used my PA coupon today as tomorrow my PC...I mean...Daz+ membership expires. Have to wait until "payday" Friday (when I get my SS deposit) to get another 3 months membership with the fall Daz+ sale upcoming (those Daz+ For a Day deals really help me clean my wishlist).
Heh, KACC Character Cameras Starter Bundle is in the 80% sale for the 3rd day in a row
The clearance catchup seems to be completely fried too, containing a bunch of full-price items
↑ Nvm, seems to be one of those things where the correct price only shows up in-cart
Extended? Really? - Two days with two bundle coupons were nice. Made me finally get the Arcadia and Merlin Bundles. But still another day?
I have an 8% stack up discount, and it is not working on any non-new items I've tried so far. Does it need some sort of a coupon code to trigger it?
My stacking discount didn't apply either; these have always been botched promotions. It's not worth it for me file another ticket; you win this time DAZ...
I've not bought much in the last day or two so the loss of a small discount is not that big a deal. However today I am likely to buy a bunch of 1.99 clearance items. Can anyone with a working discount tell me if the 1.99 items are dropping in price or not?
They did when I put a few in my cart.
Me too.
The DAZ+ PA coupon works on them as well...
dForce Indian Lacha dress doesn't appear on today's sales page, but the texture expansion does.
Will advise.
Played around with my cart for some minutes but not convinced:
- My streaking discount (12%) does not seem to be applied properly.
- Buy-ins too high in general.
We'll see what tomorrow brings. Maybe I'll find something to bring that streaking to the full 14% although I wonder whether I will use it big time.
And by the way, got the day 7 items from the Demigod Series. But no banner will make be "pay" 90$ more to get that exclusive Mousso character.
Oh, no more streaking after today. "Offer ends Aug. 30 at 23:59 MDT (UTC-6)"
Thanks for pointing that out. Then no need to purchase for reaching the max. Although I should have reached the max already anyway.
I don't know how I feel about one of my images being used as the daily sale pitch image.
Avoiding that was one of the reasons I pulled my gallery here.
EDIT: Since this isn't the first time this has happened, I opened a ticket asking them to remove my image from whatever archive they have been pulling it from.
The funny part is... I didn't even use DAZ Studio to render it. I'm using assets in the image that are not licensed for commercial use. And it was a tribute to a song which also isn't something I own.
Why would it be on today's sale page? It was released on August 7th, so is still "New" but out of it's initial discount period.
Interesting. I would expect they ask if they want to use an image? I may have not noticed, but the ToS does not seem to say "if you are posting in the DAZ site's gallery, we can grab that image and use it for whatever reason we may find use" - like Meta usually does.
From the Froum and Gallery Submission Addendum of the EULA https://www.daz3d.com/eula#general_license :
Here is the problem with this...
1. The image was not rendered with DAZ Studio. I rendered it with Reality and Luxrender. Important detail to explain #2.
2. This image was done in 2014 (or earlier, I don't recall exactly). Which meant having to redo all of the textures manually. Many of these textures were from the source 3DL textures, but a bunch were not. They were free, non commercial use, textures.
3. The pushbroom and the sky were also free, non commercial use, props.
So now that the image is being used commercially, who is at fault? Should I go to the original artist and self disclose the use of the image and let them decide what they want to do about it?
The irony isn't lost on me that items with their licenses being incorrectly used are being used to advertise selling licenses.
This bodes well for DAZ's own 'Editorial License'...
Only that DAZ Editorial Licenses explicitely excludes any advertising or promotional use. I think the only appropriate reaction would be to remove the image. But I'm not a lawyer.
