We will probably get Victoria 9 on Wednesday, but that's just a tip. We usually did get a new char on Wednesday or was it Thursday? (With the dollar exchange rate, I don't really buy from the US atm/ pay attention to things. This war [messed] up the economy in Eastern EU and it will take a year or so for the exchange rates to get back to the track of normality.)
Only people from DAZ would be able to tell what will happen, but it would be preeeeety unusual to end the sale so quickly. (8th of Nov probably is my guess. That's 2 times 2 week period and a catch-up week in the end.)
What I don't get in case of catch-up sales is if I don't buy it for $1.99 why would I buy it for $2.99? Anyone would explain this?
Well, I asked because many of the DAZ policies seem to be changing lately. And today's sale does say it's a Catch-Up sale. That's what worried me. The PA sale was shorter than historically, too!

There is a very slim chance for there being people not able to visit DAZland each and every day, so they might miss a whole day worth of goodies. To penalize them for their lack of effort they have to pay an extra $ when they get the chance to participate in a Ketchup Sale.

It is also possible, that somebody hesitated and later changed his/her mind. $3 is still a bargain. As i knew from earlier sales that this would happen, i hesitated less often during this sale, which also could be the strategy behind this price change: i am now conditioned to hesitate less often, lol.
We have catch-up sales not the last days of the sale. So till it's just a catch-up I wouldn't worry about ending. But who knows?

I was going to say it probably refers to today being the last chance to catch the mid-month catch-up sale, but the email does indeed say "Don't miss the final day of the Daz+ Anniversary Sale!"
When have communication from Daz last been clear and without need for interpretation?
Are there any new items in the $2 day, or is it all catch-up?
Daz has often said it is the final day, and then the next day they announce "sale extended!". But during the PA sale last month, they were honest, and final was final. I expect this to really be the final also, since Jack told us the sale would be shorter, and we are all expecting Genesis 9 to steal the spotlight "Daz Soon". However, I don't know any more than any other user does about the real plans.
Given DAZ's track record I don't think DAZ is clear on that either
Did you get a different email than I did. Mine is titled "Last Chance - Daz+ 24-Hour Finale" but just says in the body "Last 24 Hours to Catchup" . So, while I'm a little confused I'm still doubtful that is the the end.
It's the line that shows up in the email inbox to tell you what the email is about. It probably has a name, I don't know what it is... :D When you see your list of emails, it's displayed right next to the subject:
Things will happen this way or that way, but in the end, there is always a new sale. The only difference is how good the next sale will be compared to the previous one.
Grab the things you feel like you should at this price and ignore the rest.
Looks like there's a slight issue with the HD Intro bundle. Assumedly Vic 9 Makeup (Victoria 9 HD Makeup | Daz 3D) was a late addition to it-- It's showing as not owned for me, and hence unavailable to download, despite me owning the bundle. Is anyone else that preordered experiencing the same issue?
Well Victoria 9 is out. I bought her on preorder and she is in my product library. But Voss hair which was supposed to be a preorder bonus is not in my library. Please fix.

I'm assuming, as was the same with other deal things like this, there's probably a bot they've got to add the items to each user's library. In other cases it took up to a day to do everyone, so we might be waiting for a bit on Voss (and the bikini? if getting the bundle)

Yes, the makeup HD is in there. I bought the bundle about 45 minutes ago.
The V9 `bonuses for pre-order will be in the libraries in a bit.

Try clearing cache or relog. It's in mine.
If not in your library, give it a little time or run regular troubleshooting.
No starter essentials in two browsers or DIM - time to head out for the day, I'll see if there's anything there in my afternoon

Clothing and hair items used to be named "[itemname] for Genesis [Generation] [Male/Female]"
All of today's items are missing the generation part.
Is this an error or will we not know what generation an item is for by its name from now on?
Essentials are now in library, but none of the V9 items are. Why wasn't this done in advance?
