question about skinbuilder plans sort of in the last version besides skin, eyes, makeup and nails you also had eyebrows and fluffies which was really cool btw and hope these with different variations will be included again now I've been hearing eyebrows are a completely different kind of a setup on genesis 3 does this mean it maybe possible to create even more realistic details, mulible shades/textures and colours in a pair like real ones instead of just one colour tone and also more shaping in them? Again your eyebrows and fluffy muffies were great and varied in skinbuild pro g2 version.

  • Zev0Zev0 Posts: 7,089

Well we managed to get the brows across and will work in a similar fashion as the G2 version, the fluffie muffies is a bit of a challenge because we included an option to transfer the applied skin to the genital geograft, so to get the overlay gen hair to appear on both isn't an easy task. Also this version will have a convert to Iray option. Another new feature is that each skin tone has it's own shader settings, so when you combine skin options, the values will dynamically adjust. Well that's the idea anyways. There is still lots to do. Right now every section is still in pieces lol. Will start a thread on it when the time is right:)

Man, waiting for this to come out is about as bad as waiting for Christmas as a kid, except that I had a definite target date for Christmas to arrive.

Tell yourself, Friday: I am; if it's before, it will be a pleasant surprise.

Zev0 likes to tease, or is that torment, us. :)

  • neat sounds like with genesis 3 and iray we'lll be getting so many new cool things and options  we can change thanks to your plugins though at same time sounds like a headache to you too but sounds like your hardwork as always will be worth it to us oh the things we will be able to do, another product I'm eagerly awaiting for isn't one of your but your stuff will enhance it is creature creator 3 can't wait to see what will be possible with that

Will this G3 product work in Studio versions earlier than 4.8 ?

  • Zev0Zev0 Posts: 7,089

Well technically, as long as your G3 works in whatever version you currently have, this should work as well.

Great news. Your morphs are a mainstay for realism.

A bit off topic, maybe, but how about updating the script products to work in, say. 4.6? I understand the db differences are significant, but, hey. The recent one I purchased before the 4.8 release works just fine in 4.6.

I happily notice that a number of venders are doing things like "V4, G2, & G3" fits in a single hair prop, for example. This is just plain appreciated, the thoughtfullness of it makes me feel valued as a customer.

Not that anyone needs that kind of validation, but customer loyalty is definitely quantifiable. I support venders who support me.

Some features of the scripts only work in the later versions. We always try and make compatibility with older versions of Studio, but if it breaks the script or does not allow us to implement features we want, we will build and compile on the later version. Eg some stuff we created with 4.6 in mind, but it didn't work in 4.8. So we had no choice but to compile for 4.8. This has nothing to do with customer loyalty, but more of what makes sense. The amount of users still using older builds does not justify us compiling additional scripts to support older versions. It takes a lot of time. We would like to cater for all, but now what if a user who is on version 4.0 also wants support? See the problem? You need to draw the line somewhere. Thing is, 90% of the users are all on the latest build, and we have to cater for the main user base. Now, if we created a product that worked in older versions of Studio and didn't work in the newer ones, we would update those, but we are not going to go backwards.

The Goodies!  Oops! I'm showing my age.

I bought the product earlier today and I hope to do some dark and evil experiments with it next weekend.

    Cheers,

Hi guys. The G3M version of Shape Shift should be available this month. There will also be a bundle option. Those who bought the G3F version should get an additional discount on G3M version to match bundle price.

Same. I've been missing some morphs of late, and had to run some renders of G2F figures, lol.

Zev0 I was also curious, I have never seen this asked, does one need the Daz head and Body morphs in order to use your products?  I don't think so but just wanted to clarify as that would be 20.00 I would save today to put toward your products instead.

Not really. They do compliment them however. The head and Body morphs should be on everybodies list to be honest. I don't add certain morphs because they are contained within those packs from Daz. To me, the head and body morphs are essential as most characters sold will use them and will be needed as a requirement. I am specifically speaking regarding the Shape Shift product. Other products of mine, just require the base and no other packs unless they specifically make mention of that.

Yes I guess they are required for alot of other characters that are released, thanks for the info :)

    Greetings,

Mmmm...  Fallout 4.  No, no, must work!  ...  but just one more building?  I want to hook up a TV to power!  Nothing to watch, anymore, sadly...200 years since everything went offline, but wouldn't it be neaat...? devil

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to your tools to help shape these blocks of clay in even better ways.  Thanks again, and I hope it's been very lucrative for you!  (One of those cases where my self-interest and altruistic sides can happily shake hands... devilyesangel )

I was looking for this a while ago and didn't notice it around, tho this looks like a very welcome product.

Today I had gone threw an uninstall and reinstall of G3F, and then labeling up a few renders, and then I stumble across this "Fit Control for Genesis 3 Female(s)" in the store, lol.

So, how much of the following can this help with?

Yea I know, sticky question. It's been fermenting for a few months now. The simple "Expand All" that some outfits include with nothing else is just a bit, lacking for Non-daz figure shapes, lol.

Looking at the areas you highlighted, pretty sure Fit Control can resolve those issues. But try it out, and if it doesn't work for you, just get a refund. But I think it will fix those areas. It does for me when I stack clothing. Sometimes I stack up to 4 items and I can resolve the clipping issues using the morphs.

  • That is a lot better sounding then (biting my tong). Something like that looks useful anyway, I was just curious if it had some more localized dials then just a "Make the chest planet sized" for example. It's in the "Must get list" (I don't care what the price will be, I'm getting it on the third).

Expand-All, Well it got rid of the poke-threw , but we could fit three planets in there now , lol.

Ye expand all only works sometimes. This is why I made morphs so you can adjust the front, back and sides seperately to your liking, instead of everything being expanded at once.

  • The last version of this morph pack was the salvation of G2M for me.  I'll be grabbing this one stat.  Thanks!

Hope it will hold out till at least next week for release, but if it comes out this week I'll try getting it before the sale ends on it, can't wait for growing up morphs
