    I think I was told that it was intended for Starter Essentials, but I may have misread so that isn't a guarantee/official statement.

    Whoa! Since when. The PowerPose templates - including the fancy face rigs - have always been available for free - usually in the appropriate starter set.

    So will G9 powerpose and the facs rig ever come out ? I mean there's Victoria 9 and Michael 9 out already and no sign of powerpose or the facs rig. Not that I care since I doubt I'll ever use G9 myself, I'm just wandering what are the daz priorities here since this is basic functionality that should be there from the start when you release the figure.

    It does take people making those products your demanding and being as the 9th Generation was just released its a bit early to expect them at this very second.

    Personally I would have thought it would be extremely reasonable to expect it to have been released when the generation was, especially for the higher cost of these new figures. Why release the generation when not everything is ready to go, especially a tool that many people use?

    @frank0314 G8.1 was released with powerpose templates and the facs rig, as it makes sense to.

    Yeah but G8.1 was only a very minor change from G8 ,so not as much adjustments or changes ........ sorry for butting in but I just couldn't stop myself.....

    @carrie58 Then take your time to finish a product before selling it. The G9 promo showcases "better facs", but the facs rig is not even there. And a figure without powerpose is just incomplete. It really looks like G9 has been butt kicked out of beta for the black friday sales ..

    Dudes and dudettes, go to Install Manager (or however you download content for DAZ) immediately.  DAZ has an early Christmas Present for us.  There is an update to Starter Essentials which includes Power Pose support and templates, hair templates, and G8 Aliases so HMATS will work on G9.  I can finally try some of my Lindy dforce hair on G9 without jumping through hoops  OH HAPPPY DAY!

    Thanks, Richard, but all y'all seem to have overlooked billyben's post about a new Genesis 9 Starter Essentials that has, among other things, the PowerPose templates. Yes, they are there, and... they are encrypted, again.

    Seems like a good reason to use an unencryped one that can be tweaked by the user if needed.

That said, just as the base template was used to create a freebie Genesis 9 template in the interim there is nothing to stop a PA from creating their own template for a figure and, if they thought it was viable against the free versions, making it a commercial product.

    I tried the 'official' powerpose templates, but it might have been my lack of skill, but the facial set didn't seem to budge anything. Body and wrist moved, but no fingers, I had to open them up myself manually.

    Yes, PowerPose Template for Genesis 9 is badly needed. I second that. It's a bit of surprise for me that it is not in DS yet.

    It is, in the latest update for the Genesis 9 Starter Essentials.
