Whose characters for G9 you're expecting?

G9 is such a beautiful creation. Now I'm looking forward to have characters for G9 from Bluejaunte and Vootw. I love so many artists' works. But in a short list, I'm thinking of the works from the two artists most.

Josh Crockett (if he's still around), Rawart's monsters (tho I already had enough werewolves this time around - sorry Raw ;) ), Joe Quick, etc. I'd like monsters and aliens that can be either gender. I still have to try the new alien released today as a male, so long as it doesn't rely on any of the base morphs that we STILL don't have yet **rolls eyes**.
Edit: Whoops...scratch the alien released today. She's for 8.1 LOL. Still need it... :P

Eh. I mentioned this elsewhere but since I'm in a chatty mood today while waiting my stomach (intestines really) to hopefully not kill me...
It's not a short list by far since I tend to go more for specific creations than creators so for example I'd like to see Brute, Ollie, Sagatto, Swole, and Budai transferred to Genesis 9 for sure and Colossus, Folco, Maxx and Niko are also on the wish list
As for individual artists. I'd like to see more characters from Alex Renner (I actually sent him an email asking if he has any plans and he said he would love to but it is up to Daz)
Emrys & Morris, Yannek, Soto and Cherubit. I mean I probably will get a few from others like FWSA but those are the ones whose characters (at least skins) I use most aside from some of the "Daz originals" whose creators I don't know.

HFS (Dariofish) for generic fantasy morphs and I wouldn't say no if JoeQuick did an update on his brutes, bruisers, thugs and tough guys morphs. Luthbel also does some good stuff.
Esid & FenixPhoenix have some really interesting stuff as far as LIE masks go but I've been a bit leery to get those because of how slow LIE is but apparently there are improvements in the new DS?
Then there are so many artists where most of the characters are sort of "eh... I guess" but they have a few really good ones.
The only thing I'll really need G9 for is extreme closeup realistic portraits because the eyes are so much better (although they often need tweaking.) Mousso is my go to PA for combined beauty & realism and I'm starting to like some of Colm Jackson's characters. I like Addy's girls too but they're not quite as realistic though beautiful and I have all their G8's and G3s. I think I'm going to teach myself how to do makeup because that's the biggest issue I'm having with G9 (beside the lack of morphs right now.)
I'm really sad Rarestone and Emma & Jordy aren't here with their great morph packs! I really have everything I need from toon to realism in previous generations and I do a lot of postwork anyway. I'm just hoping for good morph packs and clothing clones, pose & hair converters. I might even figure out how to make my own skin textures. I started doing that with V4, then G3, G8 and by the time I was motivated to finish one, a new Genesis appeared lol. I'm kind of enjoying being creative with G9 with so few assets instead of being lazy and combining a bunch of PA morphs. I was really hoping for a Genesis animal with morphs where we can create our own animals, so I really hope that happens and it's not just for PAs.
I'm not usually a fan of DAZ core characters, but if others are as good as V9, I will probably get a few. I really hope hair makers continue to support G8, because I'm definitely a hair collector, especially from Lindsay & Westfield. I doubt I will be buying much clothes for G9 though if they're not backward compatible. I think the only need for G9 is doing realistic extreme closeup portraits, that's where you can really see the difference. And that's what I enjoy doing the most, though it's hard to make money from it!
I just want some guys that look like guys. Don't care who makes them. Morris does nice texture work, so I'd pick up something of hers right away.
Oso3D will no doubt make some really good anthro characters. That is what I'm looking out for.
Crocodile Liu might be the one and only that I'd go against apprehensions with G9 and pick up a new character.
I wish Colm did guys since his characters are very well done and come with all kinds of interesting choices - at least the new ones... though I guess the fact he makes good female characters wouldn't necessarily translate over to males.
SY Ball Joint Dolls for G9 would be grant.
ISourcetexture's characters are my most wanted.
Only a handful make it to the small list of frequently used G8 characters. I end up dialing in a mix of these females. G9 port of these ladies would be much appreciated!

I've already seen a preview of a Kooki99 male, so that's something to look forward to. I'd like some Carbon Crow characters as well. Other than that, more Oso and JoeQuick characters to greatly diversify G9 beyond the typical beautiful white women we'll shortly be flooded with.
Toons from JoeQuick (Storybook toons, & so on) & 3D Universe (Toon Generations 9, & so on) for starters. The Girl 9 & The Guy 9 bundles. PedroFurtado Cartoonizer & Babyfier. A revisit to the Multiman concept now that G9 is in unified mesh format. A revisit to the Edie & Ollie toon characters. Already, those are costing me a pretty penny all by themselves.
Not from this store, but Vicey3D. I love how they do skins. Also, Kadaj15, Tempesta3D, Lexa Kiness, Sangriart, and Maddelirium.

I have Grace Young and Kim Seohyun. Kim Seohyn is, in my opinion, one of the underrated greatest Asian character of all time. I will wait for another Kim from HerYun, too.
I've found that we all have our own taste. Reading good reasons in this thread makes me understand myself more. I like the skin jobs of Bluejaunte. I like asian jobs of Vootw. But all in all, I will wait for great jobs for G9 from any great artists with bigger excitement than ever.

I don't look forward to any G9 figures. I will probably regret it sometime in the future when a new figure by Kooki or Sangriart exclusively for G9 comes out, but that's life for a special snowflake
Correct, I have enough characters to populate a scene. I need morph resources and nice skin shaders and materials.
That is a nice one! I was wondering I should mention Kooki99 since I like some of his characters (like Vince) but not all of them. Looking forward to Tyson though.
So many of the PAs I love have been mentioned already, but there is one Daz O I would love to see brought forward to G9 and that is Elijah 7. He was released just before G8 and when I found the improvement in that generations facial expresions from G7, I mourned he had not been released as a G8. But could we get him as a G9 now?
I think I'm going to have to be choosy about the things I buy since genesis 9 is likely to have double the morph problems with load times as gen 8 due to being unisex . So I'm not going to buy all figures on release like before or it's going to be super slow using them
I will stick to favorites such as Soto, Changeling Chick and others.
a lot of the best PAs like soto and d.master seem to be MIA. Which seems like a waste of talent.
Gen 9 will only be as good as the PAs making content for it, which sort of makes me apprehensive. Hopefully some PAs will rise to the occasion to replace them.
I guess having a unisex base, means some of the PAs who mostly focus on female content will be inclined to support males more, since it is slightly less work for them to do so.
Soto created the side spikes hair for G9 and has some other stuff in the works. Probably the breast utilities upgrade. He might do a new character after those but no promises.
