I was thinking he looked like Robert Sheehan (Klaus) from The Umbrella Academy.
I'm beginning to wonder if anyone is actually using G9 yet. LOL
Considering how many times I've seen Victoria 9's breasts on deviantart, I'd say at least a few.
LOL
I really enjoy, what you have created so far, @AllenArt,
but have no idea, how you have achieved such nice looking characters.
Thanks :) I mostly follow the "less is more" principle when it comes to faces. Small amounts make big changes...LOL.
I'm still working on this guy...mostly his skin. I don't like the African skin included with G9 as I find it too "blotchy". So I'm working on mixing it with the Latino/East Indian skin provided. Not there yet. I used this expression 'cause I liked the wrinkles on his brow and forehead. LOLOL
You are very skilled at making characters!
Thanks Genesis 9 is making it super easy though ;)
Yes, another nice looking character. Your skills are amazing.
Ok, my try. Used a bunch of dials at 22% each.
What I do (for males especially) - I dial in Base Masculine, but then I ALSO turn off limits on the Base Feminine and turn that to the negative 50-100% before I start creating. At least on the head. Sometimes on the body too. :P You can do the same for the feminine - at least on the head. I haven't tried it on the body yet.
Great character Artini! :) I love "robust" noses...lol. Must be my Italian heritage. LOLOL
Ok, I'm going to try an Asian next. I'm not going to do as well, because I'm just more familiar with white and african american faces :). Gonna need to break out some reference photos for this one...hehe.
I like that tip about dialing the feminine out of the masculine characters. Here is my attempt.
here's my pass at a G9M
Awesome!
Now we're cookin' with gas...lol. He looks great! He looks familair too, but I can't place it :P
This looks just like my niece
I made this guy with the old original Simtenero Randomizer and the expression with the Expression Mixer.
I dialed in the Older face and body morphs to 100%. I like the look of this older guy. I zeroed his expression.
Another version, Older as above but also Face Young -100%
Oh my...very handsome :) So, the Randomizer works on G9?
BTW...remember to save the ones you like! I forget half the time and end up losing them
Yes, the old original randomizer works. I didn't ever buy the updated version, because it seemed less functional, so I can't vouch for that.
Version 2 works as well :)
Thanks a lot, for the comments and great tips.
All the best for you.
You guys are pretty good. Those look like some random people off the streets. You don't even need to buy DAZ 3D products.
Installed 4.21 and used G9 Head morphs. My attempt to render to my similar style but in Daz.
Excellent!! G9 is fun, no? :)
It's ok. I do like the improved facial movements on G9. Quite entertaining.
Nice work everyone. I wasn't getting great results making male characters but I'm going to try @alienarts tip when I next get a chance to play around in DS. Also, @alienarts -- you could probably sell some of the head shapes you are creating, should you wish to, as they are that good! Thanks for letting us know randomizer works with G9 @barbult.
