My voice matters! (new survey out)

My voice matters! Daz sent me an email to tell me so. Not sure why - I'm not a big spender. But I am getting a $5 credit for my participation. laugh

I wish they had included a comment section, about how we feel about the current state of things. I would have written a frigging tome. I suspect they didn't, because that would require at least acknowledging backlash exists.

It seems the survey is already closed, so looks like they hit the submission limit pretty fast. Obviously my voice doesn't matter!

  • Must have been a rather low submission limit to be reached in such a short time frame (given that the survey should have taken until Nov 6th)

Same here. But having a survey intended to run for 144 hours and ending after 12 hours because it reached the submission limit raises some questions. E.g. do they (Daz) know anything about their customers at all?

I studied statistics in college. We were told that 30 is already a large enough sample size, ha. From the perspective of those executing a survey, it might be desirable to do less work and obtain juuuuuuust the quantity of questionnaires required

The usual response has been that we forumites are such a small percentage of the whole user base, and the huge majority of users have different opinion of things than we do.

Did manage to make some comments in the text boxes wink

  • I did it, saw no place to speak my mind on why I gave the scores I did. So I just replied back to the email since it was from sales I think.

  • I'm glad I did it as soon as I got the email. I'm really surprised that it ended in less than 24 hours, though. They probably missed missed getting much response from the part of the world that was asleep at that the time.

Indeed, I think it has been closed by mistake as there is no way of getting a representative data that way. We'll see I guess.

  • I wonder if Daz is under some form of curse? One mishap after another....

No survey for the likes of me...

Oh well... I suppose I'll be relegated to voicing my opinion in other ways...

Seeing as how I hardly ever do that*, it's quite a shame they missed out on my input.

The survey a few months back and I think the last few before all had some comments section.  I too was looking forward to voicing my opinion!

Seems odd that it would be already closed >_>

  • My wallet closed at the same time as the survey. Spent $100 with Slaters instead..

Well that is only if the sample size is TRULY random, which it never is.

Seeing as I just spent $40 of my store credit allowance on those DAZ Originals "Epic Ground Breaking Environments", now on sale, that was intended for the Michael 9 release instead, I'll do that survey & take those $5 dollars.

But, but, but the survey is already ciosed.

  • Oh, so no harm was done by deleting the email because I couldn't be bothered with the survey? Cool.

My memory may be failing, but I think the survey page said that it would ve open until November 7 or up to 7000 answers...

  • Think it said that. Hadn't realised today was the 7th.

    Regards,

    Richard

Thanks a lot Daz, offering me 5 dollar store credit as you want to hear what I have to say, I click the link and it's closed! I guess my voice doesn't matter to you. To have a limit on how many opinions you want to hear, seriously weird...........I never fill in surveys but when it's offering Daz store credit as reward, the only thing I'm interested in,I fill them in at once. To bad they had a small limit to the nr of opinions. Stupid to have a limit to how may opinions they want.

At second day or third day for the limit to be reached, ok, I was too late, that's ok, but the first day!! Not ok.

  • The survey has been reopened, though I don't know if that is until the 6th or if there is just a higher limit.

    The email said:

     * Survey closes Nov. 6 or once the submission limit is reached. Store credit will be delivered to qualifying accounts on Nov. 7.

I filled it out this last night but the credit comes 6 November, which I took into account on those purchases I made today from my already existing store credit.

Sorry to hear the survey was so exclusive. That is something new, I think. On the bright side, the questions were noticeably quick and easy, if not very helpful for people who wanted to write comments.

Just checked again, and for me it's closed still.
