When I do that same search I get two more results than you do. I'm guessing it is because you already own the product (even though you have hide items I own unchecked.) Can you try that search again, and once you see the results, check and then uncheck the Hide items I own, and see if they show up? We are seeing a similar issue with the search results page and maturity filter.
Redone the search. Checked and unchecked the "hide items..." button and got the same search result as already shown.
When not using "" (so when only searching for USS Horizon Interior without putting it into ") I get a different result, but still the product that I search for isn't found
So the USS Horizon SPACESHIP is found. But the product containing the interior for it isn't. I tried the turn on/off hide owned products button here, too, of course. And also the on/off for the maturity filter.
What me confuses me most, that the product doesn't even show up when I dedicatedly try to list all items by the PA
Searching "Victorian" returns also everything with Victoria in the name, making it hard to find something Victorian.
Tried searching for "anna" (looking for a specific character), and got back a bunch of matches that seemingly have no connection to that name:

Digging deeper, I see that 99% of these results are from a PA named "Anna Benjamin". That makes sense (now that I've figured it out)… but it would be great if searching for a specific PA's work (which is useful!) was tangential to searching for content by keyword.

Agreed. I'm seeing that the Hide items I own as well as the MAture cotnent flags don't seem to be consistently doing what they say they are on the search results.
Let's say I want to shop for female characters.
Searching for character also shows me shoes, clothes, poses, shaders, texture sets and plugins.
There's no way to filter the store for just a gender specific list of characters.
Is your avatar from a coming Genesis 9 toon product?
No, currently I'm using Luthbel's Dwarf for Gen 8. One of my favs :)

Is there any more information on the new category structure that's coming? Do you separate "what things are" from "what they are compatible with"?
ETA: Is there even a list of what the current categories are and what their matching icon is?
I'm hoping to have the new structure out before end of year. I could answeer more questions on it here, but it will derail this whole thread. So let me just tease a bit and say be patient, good stuff to come this year stil :)

In addition to the weird search results, I've noticed for sometime now that the "Hide Items I Own" has been excluding items I DON'T OWN. This has happened several times when I have searched the daily sales offers. I now turn off the "Hide Items I Own." Bests.
Sometimes despite the keyword or search term being one of the words in the product title, the search did not reveal the product. A few days ago I had to leave Daz and go to google and find it that way. Next time I'll note the specifics. But I do love the improvements especially the new headers fetured on the PA store fronts. For those of you who haven't noticed them check out Amaranth's. There are many others but I picked her because she happens to be the source of todays Christmas freebie.
Also this often happens. I search a term it populates as 1 of two pages, click for page two and it repopulates with page 1 of 7 etc. All I did to replicate this was at the main page for the store, typed the word winter in the search field. Attached are the search results for page 1 (was 1 of 2 pages ) and the other screen shot is when I clicked for page 2 .
Trying to search for core characters doesn't find all the core characters. I found a section called "Genesis 8.1 Core Characters" listed under "Genesis 8.1 People", so I figured this list must be curated. But it leaves out multiple core characters and includes several that are not. Some of the characters it shows are not even in a bundle with a core character. The same holds true for Genesis 8 as well.
With so many 'core' characters, having a reliable list would be helpful. There doesn't seem to be a list anywhere.
The search in general is highly unreliable. I'm not sure what parameters it runs on, but it is all over the place for basically anything I search for. It might bring up some items pertaining to the search term, but it leaves out too many others, even items with the search term in their name. I often use a browser to search the store because I don't feel like I can trust the store search to dig up all the items that may be of interest.
Trying to search anything is a trial at the moment. The most I can see from the current $3.99 sale is 66 out of 82 items. Also my wishlist: I can see 80 of the 86 items as shown in the attached screenshot. Ridiculous!
Searching by vendor, can't see everything either. Take The Antfarm, I can see 333 of 351. It's possible it's losing DAZ money, but I can't say because I can't see everything up for sale.

Your Show Mature Content is unchecked. Is that why some are hidden?
Not sure if this was mentioned but make sure you allow mature content or you will miss a large portion of the store which is not even actually "mature."

When I look at todays Genesis 8.1 Blow Out Sale (genesis 8.1 blow out sale | Daz 3D), with my "default" Sort by: New arrivals, I get Leanne 8.1 on Page 2 and the Meta Mixer Add-On for her on Page 16. Same with many other Characters. It looks like it is not "Sort by: New arrivals".
Foe some reason a lot of URLs for categories, including these, override the sort order (to Popular) but the option on the page does not update. try setting the sort to soemthing else (e.g. one of the price options) then back to release date.
Just now in the Daz+ Category Sale, I searched for Qou for Genesis 8.1, which didn't appear on the first page as it did in my non-signed-in computer. It didn't appear whether I specifically chose Ergou as the creator, or searched in the main search function at the top of the page.
It did appear finally when I shortened the search from Qou for Genesis 8.1 Female, to just Qou. Weird.
That is just the first of several items I'd like to purchase. I'll continue now and see how it goes. If there are similar problems, I won't bother you with it, but if something different shows up, I'll come back here.

Sade shows, but the SYS Monsters in the Dark Textures doesn't, so I had to search via the search at the top of the page, which worked OK. It's like a challenging game to order things today... I don't like games;-)
