Thanks.
It seems to work now... I basically tried that earlier but it wasn't working, but I was on Safari, so right there is a reason... but it seems to work now on Chrome and Safari...
Unfortunately I deleted something I realized afterwards I might want to remember later, not necessarily to buy, but because I've seen people ask for a similar item a bunch of times and I figured I'd keep it wishlisted to recommend... But it's not a big deal, I'll probably remember the name at three in the morning while I'm remembering other random things my brain is keeping open in a separate tab for moments like that.
I like it a lot but I'd like with all the filters added if once we selected all according to a set of filters we selected in our wishlist there was an option to "delete selected by filter set".
This confuses me: As someone who has worked on websites I understand why they may have wanted to re-use the code/template from the store pages for the wishlist. But if you are going to do that then why remove the little grey bar at the bottom with the categorisation icons and leave off the styling of the cost and discount text?
As for the change itself I don't really know if I will find the categorisation filters usefull there or not but breaking the sort by discount is a big loss for me :(
I lost my notes and categories. Hopefully Daz-Deals can bring them back. I'd much rather have accurate categorisation and a functional search, but Daz gonna Daz, breaking what works & not fixing what they broke earlier.
I mentioned the item count difference in another thread, and someone suggested it was individual items that were wishlisted that were also in a bundle that you purchased. It seemed to match up, but I haven't had a chance to clear them out to see for sure.
ETA: Just cleared them out, and that solved the mystery. No difference with "Hide Items I Own" checked or not.
Thanks for the info but why should I have to mouse over this n that and then reload the wishlist? Previously you had a visible selection (remove from wishlist) and you clicked on it
and the item was removed.
Yeah, no more notes here either. I was using those to mark what I needed for different projects and each item's best price. Why are most changes always bad?
...bad enough MS did that with Windows 8 which was a marketing failure.
I never do shopping and purchasing on the phone not just because it takes longer to look through things and enter information, but also for security reasons a phones are so easily hacked these days. I'd rather do so with a full size display on a real keyboard with a more precise pointing device as well as from behind rock solid AV and beefy firewall using a hardwired connection. Even when I go to the grocery mart, I make up my list "clip" coupons, and check discounts and points redemptions on my home computer before heading out.
...indeed as I've said many times "updates" are supposed to improve on, not detract form the user experience. This definitely falls in the latter, particularly as it broke the Daz Deals "%" sort which those like myself frequently use.
As a 1998 Sprite advert used to say:
Thank you for taking the time to think about my problem. Unfortunately that didn't work either ... Oh well. Maybe they are things that got vaulted ...
Well the Wishlist update (which I hate, I never look at Daz on a phone) has broken the 'In Wishlist' filter on sales groups (which is a DAZ Deal feature, not a DAZ Website one). The icon there is tiny now.
Sorry - not for me. My icons are as big as always, even when I am using the "in wishlist" filter.
I see the same thing (I'm also a Firefox user). It started happening for me at the same time as the new wishlist layout showed up in my account, so I assume it's connected.
The tiny icons on the store pages are the same size as the formerly tiny icons on the wishlist, so perhaps that's the connection?
Because the DAZ Deals plug-in is basically a hack (not in the sense that it's poorly implemented, but in the sense that it's adding functionality in an unofficial and ad hoc way), it's not surprising that some of its features break every time DAZ pushes an update. I don't think I'd want DAZ to take over the DAZ Deals plug-in or roll its functionality into their own code -- I'm not sure I'd trust them not to break something useful. However, in an ideal world, they'd provide a stable API that DAZ Deals -- and DAZ themselves -- could use to implement filtering, layout and other features. Then DAZ Deals wouldn't break every time there's a change.
Mind you, in an ideal world, DAZ would fix a lot of things. In this world, where time and resources are both limited, they won't.
My icons are the usual size, in Firefox 106.0.5 - have you tried starting the browser in Troubleshoot Mode, from the Help menu?
I'll agree with you, but I will point out that we tend to view our use of certain features on websites as something everyone does, when we may be in the minority in that.
I'm getting tiny icons under some circumstances too - not just related to Wishlist filtering but also to the number of items the other filters produce. I'm on Chrome by the way.
e.g. On today's DAZ+ For A Day sale - the attached screenshots show the size of icons if I filter by artists with 1/2/3 or more products in the sale. It's very annoying. (I get the same problem with the wishlist filter if that brings up fewer than 4 items too)
Oh and I must add that I really really hate the Wishlist page changes - I used to get five items cross the page (same as the main store page on the window size I generally use) but now I get three giant but landscape format icons that don't even show the promo picture in their proper ratio. It's hideous!![angry angry](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/angry_smile.png)
Don't know if it's been mentioned before but you can change the size of the icons using ctrl+mouse wheel. That does change the size of everything else also, of course.
You can hide those filters to the left, which gives it a bit more room
By the way: interesting about the landscape format. I am getting square icons ...
deleted
Also now My Wishlist is hiding certain wishlisted items... from me.
The left column of my page says "30 of 32 items." But there are no apparent filters for me to clear in order to reveal the two remaining hidden items.
Do you have "Hide Items I Own" checked?
And is your Mature filter on or off?
@SofaCitizen
Hide Items I Own is unchecked.
@MelanieL
Thanks, that was it. Didn't notice that My Wishlist now includes the new Mature Filter. And for enquiring minds out there, the two risque missing items that were apparently NSFW (not safe for wishlists):

https://www.daz3d.com/z-teachers-props-and-poses-collection-for-genesis-8-and-81
It has happened to me (hence my guess that the Mature filter was the cause) - my "naughty" products are a pair of gloves, a hair texture expansion and some Zeddicuss poses. I can sort of see the point for the poses and the gloves (a lady in skimpy lingerie is demonstrating the gloves) but the hair textures...?!
