Missed it:  Yep, Buffalo got clobbered again this year.  YouTube clip below is the best I've found showing what's been going on just 50 miles north of me.  But fortunately, here in Chautauqua county at the bottom left corner of western NY State we only got about 4 inches of sugar-like snow (because of the cold temperatures) that blew around in the high winds into drifts along objects in their path.

Snow, and lots of it, aren't unexpected in Buffalo, but what does amaze me is the photos of all the vehicles abandoned in the streets.surprise  What level of desperation or stupidity caused their owners to venture out in a storm that had been forecast as seriously dangerous, days in advance?  indecision

I'm staying home today.  I was going to dye my hair just to find out my hair dye kit wasn't completely there.

Well, that's probably better than finding out that your hair's not all there.indecision

Oh no I found out my hair isn't all the way there?  I'm sort of watching tv.  You will never guess what.  (Unless you can tell by what I'm wearing.

also I added a screenshot of some problems with icons on the forums.

...they have a Tesla plant in Buffalo?

That house on the lakefront covered in ice would make a great Daz model

Some of those downtown scenes at around the 7:20 mark almost look like a Stonemason model (Streets of the Snowpocalypse?)  Love the fellow standing (waiting for a bus?) who flashed the peace sign

Made me feel cold just watching this. Need to make some hot cocoa now.

...and  Happy Yuletide to all. Hopefully most people had a pleasant and safe one in spite of the all the weather and travel issues.

    ...and a minor holiday complaint.

Why are all the really cool offbeat characters G8.1?  While shopping this last day storewide sale I came across Oso's Horseman as well as RawArt's Pearlette and Jawz and was just about to put one of them in the cart until I saw that they all are 8.1.  G8.1's UV is different than 8 so swapping skins from G8 is a bit of a pain.

Welp, that was nigh on disatrous. I swear that cooker hates me.

Great, as if I don't live on enough anxiety, I have to see something like that to add to the mix.

Merry Christmas - Or as we say in my part of the world, "Nadelik Lowen"

Why can't you use Gensis 8.1? In any event, not every Genssi 8.1 release uses the new UVs - it is up to the creator.

...not into guessing which ones do or don't as not every G8.1 product mentions that. I also have old hardware and avoid anything that has HD morphs. Then there is the hierarchical preset issue which really messes with cross generation compatibility.

I had a good Christmas overall.  Other than the asthma attack and cutting my finger by my new razor.  Not really bleeding much so not sure if I want to use a bandage on it.

Non-complaint:  Wheee..., a day uptown with my friend from NYC.  Lunch at Red Lobster (Mmmm... salmon, shrimp, baked potato, sour cream, & a margherita), and a quick trip to an uptown grocery store to get some hard to find items. (powdered milk, Olivio, pistachios).  He arrived before the storm and will be going back after New Years day.  The local streets here are slushy but overall, the snow has been dealt with efficiently.  Didn't even need to put on my boots to go out.yes

...big wind and rainstorm heading our way here on the Northwest coast Tuesday.   Sustained winds  of 35 - 50 mph expected even in the western valleys of Oregon with gusts along the coast topping 80 mph.  At least all the ice and slush along with the frigid temperatures is gone.

I lost all my holiday punches instead of gaining another one.

...yeah if you don't buy anything for one day you lose all instead of just one.
