Something did change about the coupon though; trying to use it on a cart with the sleigh in it only took ~1$ off. Looks like the coupon is added before the 85% as well as the punch card.
i noticed the same thing yesterday (with other products!), and today too (didn't bother caring yesterday for a few cents, wasn't even sure what happened - but it's starting to annoy me..):
i pick an item from the list Choose Your Free Gift.
it's https://www.daz3d.com/mecha-cheetah listed at -40% normal price*$19.95*, now $11.97.
but i don't think it's relevant since yesterday same thing happened with another product.
i put it in my cart and it shows $10.77, 46% Off (i have 10% loyalty, and according to 'Loyalty discount only applies to items featured as part of the “2022 Holiday Sale.”', this IS part of it because CYFG, right?
which is fine, i still have credit to add the 0.77.
but as soon as i add the GIFTED code for the 10$ discount... the item costs now $1.77, once the 10$ have been discounted. 1$ more, same yesterday... this is a bug with the cart system, not particular items i think.
now what a drama for 1 $.. well i'm chronically broke. exceptionally this year for xmas i got a gift of $, and immediately got myself a GC - but i have just a few $ left now, every dollar, every cent counts...

This happens all the time. They keep doing the same kind of thing wrong. If Daz can't do this properly during holidays, perhaps they shouldn't be doing it?
ah well.. i decided to drop it. i'll wait for hyper cheap items like 2.99 or sth to spend my last few $ credit on...
The problem is that the punch percentage is being applied immediately when you put something in the cart. So I pick a $10.06 item for the test (in this case Necromancer outfit, 58% off on the store page, but I tested it with a few others), and when I put it in the cart, the price changes to $6.54 which means that the punch card has been applied. Then, when I apply the gift coupon, the price changes to $0.04 which suggests that applying the coupon removed the punch card, applied the $10 free, and then applied the punch card again to the remaining $0.06 of the original store page price.
Unless you purchased something yesterday for full price $200+ with a base 30% discount which is today at a base 58% discount. The overall discounted value of today vs. yesterday does burn. Given the history of December so far which has been to buy it now or miss out, continue the punch card, and so on ... this also burns ... unable to take advantage of items (on sale today, not on sale yesterday) because the 'habit' of keeping the punch card going and taking advantage of today's best deal burns.

Quite a sale. Buying the horse bundle+10% off+ the $10 coupon made the other items about free, Arcadia Pro Bundle was free, but then I added some more items. That spread the $10 around a bit. Still, $5.98 for Arcadia's Pro bundle and the Wild West Saloon bundle for $2.55. I may not be all that interested in all of it, but dang....there is a lot of awesome stuff in there for $8.53. The 2 characters, Arcadia and Hailey, weren't high on my list to get, but they look good and were basically free considering I been wanting to get the Wild West Town anyway. Arcadia looks like a mix of Crow, who was only $9.44 in this deal, and V8.1. The Arcadia, Crow and Hailey are very similar in body, but they are great mixing characters. Especially Hailey. Her face is kind of eh. Mixed with V8.1 and Clara is very nice. The point is, getting the horse...reindeer bundle was well worth it if you had your eyes on some good items. Especially, if you don't already have horse 2. That made it more of a bargain for me. Who knows what they mean by upgrading us. Hopefully by ulocking features in the horse. I just look at it like I bought Crow, Wild West town, the 2 Western pose packs I wanted and the new horse. Then, Daz threw in a very large bunch of great free stuff. Thanks Daz.

well well, isn't this customer friendly... the more you buy, the more"loyal" you are (ergo the higher your punch card is) - the less you get rewarded for it. way to go.

Yep. I have a 35% punch card discount and my $10 coupon is only worth $6.50
i dunno if i should call this unsettling, frustrating, unnerving,disappointing, etc - or all of the above.
i really suck at calculating. i'm near dyscalculic. and don't come with %, it's alien languge for me.
but if i had to program this 10$ coupon, I WOULD TAKE IT OFF THE CART'S TOTAL (FINAL) VALUE, WHATEVER IT IS, AND NOT DREAM ABOUT FIDDLING WITH %. especially when there are a million simultaneous sales involving a maddening amount of various and intricated % discounts...
It's hilarious in a kind of pathetic way, really. I've got three items from the selection in my cart, all three I do actually want, and the most it'll take off is $8.
"Fun" fact: if I remove an item from that selection from my cart, the most it'll take off is... $8. It's not a $10 coupon, it's an $8 coupon.
EDIT: I suppose, for once, it's better to be one of the plebs. My discount is only 20% so... $8 it is.
nope, as one of the plebs i'm not very happy either...
i've been spending an eternity trying to find something i really want around 10$ worth, preferably from my miles long wishlist but another good product would do - well just below 10 otherwise with the code it suddenly costs 11, and i'm NOT spending on that deal! - to not avail. there are millions of things i def don't want, all i'd love to get is just above the 10, or really so low i waste the coupon on sth worth half of it.
now i'm actually trying to pick sth i don't really want, but maybe still could use, just to benefit of those 10$
I did use the coupon yesterday, even though it only granted me the $6.50 off so I spent more than I should have, and then it seems the same again today.
So instead of a gift of $20 it's a gift of $13 for being a loyal customer... Whoopie :D
The https://www.daz3d.com/crow-81-mega-bundle is listed on the 85% discount category when buying the Sleigh Bundle, but said discount doesn't apply to it (nor to any other Crow 8.1 bundles).
Thanks a lot Daz, I struggled each day to find stuff to buy to keep the 35% punch and now I'm punished and not rewarded for it.....Last time I let my self get fooled by this, the thought thay I am rewarded less 4 being more loyal just plain sucks. Once again they seam to go out of their way to dissapoint customers. No more sale 4 me unless 3.99 or less, going back to my previous rule of spending as less here as possible. I'm grateful 4 the 6.5 dollar I got fr the 10 d gift of course, but that I got less 4 being loyal.....Not fun. The xmas freebies fr the PAs have beein amazing though, Thank you so much for those! ❤️ I'm hoping 4 a catchup thing 4 those as I missed some❤️.

I really hate it when DAZ tries to sell us something with future promises. Does it have already morphs/breeds? (There is no product page or doku about anything in the bundle.)
The reindeer is complete, the horse 3 is not yet full featured.
Are the sleigh ride bundle related discounts supposed to apply if you've already bought the bundle? Usually these deals are for "if you buy or own", but I bought the sleigh bundle yesterday and none of the related deals are working for me now.
This batch of sales have been that the qualifying item has to also be in the shopping cart. Some people are buying multiple copies of the sleigh.
Could be because they are also in other sale offers.
On purpose? That is odd.
I put 4 of the Free Gift items in my cart and brought the total to $9.99.
I copy / pasted GIFTED, hit apply, DAZ thought about it, and when it was done, the coupon had been removed and my total was $9.99.
I added an item to bring my cart to $11.91 and the coupon was removed again.
I hand typed Gifted, gifted, and GIFTED and it was removed each time.
I don't get a notification that it isn't valid, just nothing.
I haven't yet gone through all of my browsers, so that is up next.
Yesterday's coupon worked for me with similar results to what people have mentioned for it.
My punch card bonus yesterday was 35%, today it is 10%.
--- I have tried Firefox, Chrome and Brave. None of the browsers will allow me to use the coupon.
I smell a major "kiss and makeup" sale coming. Hang in there.
