Getting late and I have to get up in 7 hours, leaving the cart as it is if I have time in the morning to look, otherwise... No sale...

More like changed. Now I can get any of the grab bag items (not just DOs) for $2.99 after I already bought them for $3.99

Yes, that is how it's supposed to be. Put in a ticket to possibly get the difference back. I'm not 100% if they changed the sale or if it was intended that way

Edit: Also be sure to check out the new token offer.

New token offer 16 hours into the day? Is it retroactive for all purchases made earlier? Many who bought early will be ticked off if not...

They had to wait for us in europe to go to bed first... Joke is on them => no sales.

Today's offer of "Mad Props" does not work as expected. DAZ+ members should get the items for $3.49 each, but in the cart they show as $4.99 - the non-DAZ members price.

The DAZ+ offer applies only to DO items - As was the case with yesterdays flash sale.

Yeah, Daz just pointed it out to me, too. My recommendation is to filter for DazOs in the artist field.

The text under the first box in "today only" section reads "d Your Savings", which doesn't seem right.

In the land of digital art,

Where dreams are made and worlds depart,

Lies a store with assets grand,

Created by many a talented hand.

But alas, the admins in charge,

Struggle to make a promotion large,

For with each attempt they make,

Errors and glitches cause much heartache.

They strive to bring deals and sales,

To make customers happy without fail,

Yet the system seems to mock,

And each promotion hits a roadblock.

    Despite the challenges they face,

    The admins persist with grace,

Hoping to find a solution true,

And bring their customers something new.

For though the errors may abound,

And cause the admins to be confound,

They will not give up the fight,

To make their customers' dreams take flight.

So let us cheer them on their way,

And hope that soon they'll find a way,

To make promotions without any hitch,

And bring joy to each and every niche.

There's a new one-day sale advertised in the site header, with the text "Today only 50% off. All-new DAZ+ Release -- The Guardian King" (offer is for DAZ+ members only).

This product went on sale this morning at $3.50 -- before the banner appeared. Currently, if you put it in your cart, it's priced at $3.50, i.e. unchanged from this morning but now apparently representing a 50% discount.

So is the "correct" price of the product $7.00 (after DAZ+ discount), and it'll go up to that tomorrow?

It will likely be $6.99 as regular Daz+ price, with a 30% intro discount for the rest of the intro period

Boss poem for the state of things. lol

With that said, I would happy if they would let gift cards generate tokens again.  I know they said they stopped it because of double dipping, so my thought is it would be better to get tokens from buying gift cards or spending cash and remove getting tokens from spending credit.  That way we can reliably use the token bonus when ever we want by frequently buying gift cards rather than paying $80 on stuff first.  I used to wait for big gift card discounts and buy hundreds at once, but if you got tokens for gift card purchases, I would be much more likely to buy $80 gift cards here or there without any discount on the gift card it self since I could imediately use the 40% discount from using 8 tokens when ever I wanted, like last week...

Why do you need to spend $80 each time? You can use up to eight Tokens, it doesn't have to be exactly eight - and most of the time Gift Cards are full price, buying a discounted gift Card and the spending it earns Tokens at a discount (which i why I prefer the current system, along with the fact that the tokens from purchasing a Gift Crad will expire in at most a week).

Simple, an additional 40% off from your cart is substantial and can make ok deals become good deals.  There is SO much in the daz Library that I can't afford everything that I want, so I will only buy things that start off at good deal and get better than that so that I can overall get more things that I want.  If I spend $80 on something which would get me the 8 tokens to get something, that would then be the time to jump on the extra 40% off, except I will already be down the $80 so I will be less likely to get much with them.  Then the tokens expire on Sunday, so in most cases they will end up wasted.  In my mind that makes me not even care about the tokens as I really would only plan on using them once they hit 8, and if I can use 8 as that is now the standard potential good discount, I won't buy something because I am missing out on that discount.  The exception is if there is some great grab bag or flash sale.  I got pop corn the goat and a couple HD skins yesterday because they were a great deal and had been wanting them.  But I didn't care I was getting the tokens because unless there are some other really good flash sales before Sunday my tokens will just expire anyway.  So to me the token system is more anoying with a niche use case ever so often.

With that said, if tokens were generated only when you buy gift cards or spend cash instead of using credit, then when some new Daz potential bundle came out like Juan 9 mega bundle, I would be much more inclined to buy a gift card for whatever the the discount price would end up as so that way I could get the bonus 40% discount right then and there without playing any funny discount games, jumping through hoops, or waiting until the item is no longer on sale because I was afraid Daz was going to discount it even further the next day.  20% off a gift card is nice but you have to wait for those sales and they often show up after some really good sales when I was already out of store credit.  In comparison having and extra 40% off almost anything you would want, when you want it, any day of the year, as long as you first bought an $80 plus gift card is SO much nicer and more user friendly.  In that case, buying a gift card becomes your buy in rather than buying $80 of stuff through the week without that discount applied.

The determining factor for me buying a bunch of Kindred art stuff last week was that I could get 40% extra off the total discount by just buying a gift card.  It was simple.  I bought a $95 gift card.  I then loaded a bunch of Kindred Arts stuff until I had about $95 worth when factoring the extra 40% discount.  I then bought the stuff with the extra 40% discount.  I got tokens for it sure, which made it double dipping, but I did not care about the tokens I got for buying the KindredArts stuff.  I cared about the tokens I got from buying the gift card which I was able to apply to my KA purchase which I would not have done otherwise.  It was because of being able to use the extra 40% discount that I jumped on board.

Now if tokens did not expire every Sunday night I would be more inclined to think they have value with how things are as I could save them up over time until I could get that great deal on an item that does not get discounted much often.

And to sum it up, I will use math.
If I buy a $100 gift card at 20% off, I can then get $100 worth of stuff at what ever discount they are that day for my $80 purchase.  I have to plan it out way in advance since I have to watch for gift card sales and set the money asside to buy them when they come around.
If I was to get tokens for buying gift cards instead of spending credit, then instead of getting the $100 worth of stuff for my upfront $80 on sale gift card purchase, I would be able to buy an $80 gift card that day and use the 8 tokens to buy roughly $133 worth of stuff in cart for the $80 I spent on the giftcard THAT day.

The math may have been an over sight on Daz's part, but now I feel bummed out as I used that process and was thinking "Woot Daz, I love your new setup rewarding you for buying gift cards when their is no gift card sale"...  Especially when you then spend 6 hours on Monday picking like $300 worth of stuff thinking you are going to get a great deal on, to then realize you don't get those tokens for buying gift cards any more and you won't be getting the cool Herschel Hoff exo suit bundle for an overall 80% off! lol

When I added the bundle and then the add-on, it didn't show free in the pop-up that first appears, but when I went to the actual checkout page, it showed free there.
