I'm quite sure it does, LAMH was used by the Hivewire store people as the alternative to dForce hair. I seem to remember I rendered some images with the hair presets on the fallow deer a while ago, and they came out fine. It just takes some time, like it has been stated above, because these LAMH sets will more often than not not be set up for the direct render thingie Alessandro made - Catalyst? So there's the ex- and importing to do. But still looks fine in the end!

Daveso, you will need the LAMH preset for the fur https://www.renderosity.com/rr/mod/bcs/cwrw-lamh-red-stag-and-whitetail-deer-presets/148364/

thanks . will grab that next sale, which is pretty often over there.  I thought LAMH was for 3Delight

In my experience, the LAMH presets work fine in iray as long as the figure is already posed. I beleive it is turning the LAMH hair into fibermesh to work

CWRW's LAMH products typically come with a ReadMe text file with tips on settings to use with the Iray Uber Shader once the fur .obj is generated. The version I have was purchased before the move to Rendo, so hopefully the deer LAMH bundle still provides the text file.

As I understand it, with the Free LAMH Player you can export the hair as .obj and reimport into DS to render in Iray (I think the CWRW LAMH product ReadMe explains how to do this). If you buy the full LAMH plug-in then you can convert the hair to "FibreHair" for Iray rendering.

ETA: See this post in the original LAMH Commercial thread.

The presets do include instructions on how to use LAMH with Iray along with recommended export settings specific to that animal.
