I really like her.  My only complaint is everytime I apply makeup even if its just the eyeshadow etc it looks like its applying the foundation.

Try this... Apply All, refresh, remove all, refresh then you can apply whatever single element you like without the foundation... incidently all of Vicky9's makeups work perfectly well with Minevra too.

I am curious to know why a HD character needs a normal map, apart from adding pores. I assume the large facial wrinkles and the like would be modelled into the HD morph, so should not need a normal map as well to further enhance these.

I see in the two images posted by sid that the one with the normals have deeper and more defined creases, why could that not have been done with HD alone?

normal maps cover details that would be just visible with subdiv7+ so they are necessary

That still doesn't work correctly. The Remove All does not turn off the Metallicity, Makeup Metallicity Enable, or Metallic Flakes settings that the makeup turns on. Try Minerva 9 Makeup Apply 05 All, refresh, Remove All, refresh.  Metallic Remnants are left on the eyelids, probably from Metallic Flakes that were not masked out.

i noticed that it doesn't get rid of the metalic elements on No5 but i was just showing how to get rid of the foundation... you can always just reload Minevra's texture to get rid of the metallicity.

Edit: With No5 you can still load any other makeup first, remove it and then load the No5 eyeshadow.

The makeup is LIE layers. You can also open the makeup surface temp images in the LIE editor and disable the foundation layer.

I'm not a big fan of makeup No5 but here it is without the foundation...(for some reason the remove all doesn't get rid of the metallicity so load another makeup first then remove it before loading the eyeshadow)

it's a shame they haven't included a remove foundation script... i guess they feel the makeup looks better applied to the foundation but in many cases i feel it looks great without.

i'm glad you've found a way that suits you.

That is really Minerva's eye makeup?! Someone didn't accidentally slip it from the Josie 9 bundle because they had left overs? When would a mature woman wear that?

@SolitarySandpiper, thank you for showing us how to use the makeup without plastering her face. I had no idea and was avoiding it completely.

Well, the bundle is Christmas-themed, and that's snowflake makeup. It's more a look for red-carpet or performing arts kind of applications, and AFAIK performers don't stop doing over-the-top looks when they hit 25 - they simply stop being courted by DiCaprio.

LOL - Would you believe I actually lost track of her theme! I do wish they had followed up with a modern, mature woman's bundle and then a mature male bundle of any other ethnicities to escort her to entertainments, shopping, or at work.

Thank you for the tips!  I never thought to check the LIE layers since I haven't used it much.

    Minerva 9 does farm chores.
I recently bought Cottage Props, which had the basket of eggs, so this scene was constructed to use that basket of eggs.
