    I got the Freja 9 Mega Bundle down to $71.66 by adding four of the Featured Artist items.  Didn't check if just using the 25% off DO coupon was less expensive as I found four items I wanted from the Featured Artist list.

    Now I need another 20% off  $200+ gift card sale with a low buy-in.

    My personal favourites (apart of the as usual purely fantasy styled clothing) are the chandeliers in the Viking long house (no way to let them down to light/douse the candles and I wouldn't expect any in such a setting anyway... more fitting to a medieval castle) and the Viking Boat (shouldn't it be a viking ship?) with the mast sticking out from the improvised tent (which was usually made by putting the sail over the yardarm, after turning that so that it sat over the length of the ship along with the mast (which was easily removable, as vikings had noticed that a ship with an upright mast wouldn't be able to pass under french bridges on the Seine)). On the promo pictures it gives a look as if the mast wouldn't be in the middle of the boat, but a bit to the side.

    While I find the constange barrage of "I'm very loudly not buying X because in my humble opinion it's objectively terrible" posts on the forum rather tedious, I am going to make one myself.

    Freja 8 is one of my favourite G8 core characters, and while I don't directly use her head, her body shape is integral to some of my most often used characters.

    However, I will not be buying Freja 9 bundles, on the grounds that they include products made by Xivon and adeilsonjc. (Well, one of the bundles doesn't, but the way promo discounts stack means you often pay almost as much for one of the smaller bundles as the mega bundle).

    I have submitted multiple tickets about adeilsonjc products in prior bundles, none of which have been addressed to my satisfaction - factors such as poor optimisation on the Diva's Desire outfit (which has a huge polygon density and uses several 8K maps on tiny props where they could *absolutely* have been replaced by a flat tint without anyone noticing) or distorted JCMs on the Cropped Style outfit (where certain poses make the back of the jacket look like it's trying to do an impression of Garry's Mod derpface).

    And Xivon products seem to be making a habit of having vast resource requirements. I've heard from others that some of their sets - just the sets, no characters or other assets to put within the scene - can't be loaded with any consumer level card, requiring over 24 GBs of VRAM. My system is no pushover - 64 GBs of RAM, 12GBs of VRAM, and a secondary card setup in a way that makes sure the OpenGL texture loads are never on the main card and thus as much of those 12 GBs are available as possible - and I suspect probably comfortably above the median that Daz3D customers have at their disposal, but even the "low resolution" updates that have been added to some of these sets are still beyond what I can load. I can't actually get an exact figure myself for anything that won't load into Iray, but even the low-res preset for the XI Viking Camp reportedly requires 17 GBs of VRAM.

    ... and stuff that's so ill-optimised that even the "lite" versions are unusable to any but the highest end GPUs is acceptable to include as a mandatory part of core figure bundles??

    Now, I get that there's a certain level of hardware that it's not logical to make efforts to support; if someone has a budget PC, they've probably got a limited amount of money to spend on assets, and lowering the quality on assets to accommodate low end hardware would likely make the assets inadequate in the eyes of users with higher end machines, so it doesn't make fiscal sense - but when an asset is so demanding that only the highest level of consumer hardware can even start to handle it, that should absolutely be separated off as its own purchase.

    I don't know quite what has lead Daz to be so enthusiastic about putting these vendors into major bundles, but I really wish they wouldn't.

    Just to follow up on vendor updates, I had a massive DIM update yesterday from OOT for an issue related to an update to Iray (as per the readme). I have a lot of OOT hair so it was nice to see their continued support of their products (even previous generations). My point is that vendor support is totally doable and I agree about avoiding vendors who won't support their work after it's released.

    I really like Freja 8's face but always dial the body way down and I feel the same about Freja 9 although I don't think think she's quite as pretty as 8, she still has an interesting face and it's easy to dial down her body or dial in a little to others to add muscularity. I'm not really into Viking style fantasy but I like the Dawn Warrior bundle enough to get it, however, the price is WAY too high! Even with the 25% off coupon and a percentage off for owning the Freja 8 bundle, it over $56! If they threw in three free old bundles like they did with Josie, I would have purchased but I'll wait till this is 80% off or more like I do with all bundles that have a horrible intro deal.

    Personally, because of all the buy-ins and bundles, I have moved most of my purchasing over to other market places.

    I only buy stuff here nowdays if really need a certain product for a gig, and I can`t find something similar elsewhere.

    Heck I dont even take the free stuff anymore because,....well I haven`t seen any free stuff that I needed or will ever use. Thats one of the problems I have with buy ins. I`d have to buy stuff that I dont need or will never use in order to get a price cut. SInce I will never use them, I might as well add the cost of those products onto the cost of the product that I actually wanted. It turns out cheaper to just pay the full price LOL

    And my product library is cluttered with so many things that i`ll never use.

    But then again, I pretty much have everything I will ever need for my niche, unless Daz technology advances to something more exciting than G8.1. 

    Saving money is never bad I guess ;)

     Yep, with 4 you get an extra 20% off; so the $2.20 items then are $1.41 each with 4 of them and the mega bundle in the cart.

    Thanks! I've been waffling about which bundle to get, but I think the coupon ends up making the mega bundle worthwhile.

    Looks like getting Freya9 gets you a 20% New release/Artists discount that runs for 3 days.

    It was Mega bundle for me so cannot tell if this is triggered by just the model or bundle.

    I only bought Freja on her own (for the reasons I stated above - Daz keep including vendors whose prior work I am less than impressed with in their core character bundles), but also got the same 20% off Today's Releases (the coupon seems to last three days, but still only apply to today's releases).

    i like the g3 zev0 items for 3.99$ today. Also some of the g8 zev0 products for $6.99 are not bad. Just the deal with the new release doesn't work for me, too high buy-in.

    How come the Daisy and Karyssa 8 bundles don't come with anatomical elements? Those are the first pro bundles I've seen that don't have them.
