I passed on Jodie 9 but got Ally 9.
For me (non daz plus member) the character is 35 and the makeup is 15. That is way to much for a dialed character with a few makeups.

Some people apparently get an extra discount on Ally, but there's no orange banner visible yet so we don't have the details on why and how much.
Looks kiddy to me.
The only discount I've seen or heard of is the 50% off one item orange bar offer, which doesn't specify what it's being given for. And of course, being a one-item only offer, it means that you can't put anything else in the cart with that item, thereby nullifying all of the other add-on discounts and incentives for buyng the bundle. That would be a really illogical choice if it was supposed to be an Ally/Kala specific discount.
Another new orange bonus popped up in my messages, which is probably what some people see applying. Unfortunately it has nothing to with purchase of Kala 9, nor does it work in tandem with the 50% off one item orange bar offer.

If one puts Ally bundle alone in the cart and use the coupon for 50% off, one gets the extra 10% from the bundle offer and the extra 50% from the Extra-Gift, she comes down to $28.66.
If one has the tokens, one can get her even down to $17.20 but one looses 7 tokens in doing that.
But can one use the bundle offer again in order to buy the Rodent products? And if you buy the bundle by itself, what happens to the discounts on the extra textures? It seems that no way you look at it, you end up leaving something on the table, and it still doesn't solve the mystery of what discount people who bought Kala are supposed to get. DAZ Marketing seems to be actively working against the sale of their own products with this mess.
There is no mention of "one time only" offer for the bundle discount, but as the additional offers are tied to items being in the cart at the same time, if one bought Ally using the 50% off coupon in a cart by herself, she would not trigger any additional discounts for other items, one would need to use the rodents for that.

Her textures look as though a vignette effect has been applied to the whole body.Her arms, legs and head are red but her midsection and chest area are much less so.
..also,,what is going on with her top lip?
Josie had the same weird upper lip protrusion.
In some of the promos Ally's top lip is nearly folded upwards because of it.

I did a render with Ally 9, Josie 9, and Pixie 9 for comparison only. I did not adjust skin or modify heads at all. When I work with either Josie or Pixie I do adjust their heads to my own taste and needs.
The outfit they all are wearing is Szamoca in its variations by Sade. I picked heels and socks from other PAs.

I did see a bit of the color shift in the legs, thought it was weird, not sure it was me.
For anyone interested, if one (Daz+ member) uses the bundle offer and buys 2+ bundles, she gets down to $33.12 when at least 3 ‘Highlight’ New Releases are in the cart. Using 8 tokens on top of that gets her bundle down to $19.87 and one gets the additional benefits, but I still like the rodents better.
I noticed that, too... I like Allys lips except when she's smiling. Her upper lip should be much thinner when she smiles.
I get some Belle 6 vibes from this girl in her expressions, like they tried to cross Belle with a Thorne girl and slightly darker skin. The posts about Ally's leg color is interesting. Funny enough Belle's legs also have a different color from the rest of her body skin tone. However, where Ally's legs seem to get darker, Belle's legs had a slight pinkish hue compared to her torso and face.
I'd love a new Belle. But I have no discount offers anymore. Daz needs to consider better ways to get people back into the fold if they haven't shopped in a while. That's the downside of a system that primarily rewards only frequent shoppers, it alienates any who cut back for a while. Now that I am out of the orange banner club, what incentive do I have?
They really need to stop using the denoiser in their promos. It really shows in these pics, and not in a good way. If you must, please use the free Intel denoiser for your denoising needs. The back shoulder in this pic looks rancid. I am sure that is not the look you are going for here. The side of her shin also looks painted over by the denoiser.
Ally's skin really looks some kind of a mess......in this 9 Generation Daz Originals made some really great core characters. Victoria, Julia, Kala, Angela, Xiu Lin but also Freja are probably the most realistic models in my library......in this new Gen, skin quality is the most important thing. In my my opinion this release is a step back in many ways. Hope Daz will soon recover with a Britney 9, Babina 9, Penny 9 or similars :)
I ended up with the 50% banner and Daz has always been good at returns, so I ended up picking her up. Mainly curious about the legs.
She does have a wee bit more definition than Josie.
The legs are darker and redder and I'd be interested to know why Daz decided that was a good thing, but looks like an intentional choice

Are PA's not testing their products anymore, particularly when it comes with a bundle?
The constant poke-through issues that a lot of clothes in Gen 9 has been annoying as it is...but this is ridiculous.
Does it work on a default figure?
Are those glasses conforming, or a static prop?
If the latter then poke through is normal for anything other than the default figure, though it is an easy fix by translation of the prop.
Haven't checked on just a base Gen 9 female character yet, but will do when I get home.
Just disappointed to see that the stuff that came with a bundled character doesn't work OOTB with a bundled character. First noticed the glasses were wonky, then noticed some poke through down on the abdomen of the shirt...and the hips of the jeans...
This isn't the first time. There's a few things that came with the Victoria 9 bundle that don't quite fit right on Victoria 9 and I just wrote it off in my mind as, "Eh...Gen 9 is still new. I know that really old Gen 3 stuff didn't quite fit right, and old Gen 8 stuff was a little wonky too...give the PA's time to work with the models." But here we are...7 months in since Gen 9 was released and still problems.
Turned Ally into a boy, and somehow seem to have made it even more Thorne-y than before. Makes for a very cute, somewhat toony boyband singer though!
