1. I like dragons too.
Cheers,
Alex.
#3 is my vote.
#1 game of thrones, #2 godzilla , #4 starwars-ish
why are their no humans Genesis 9 images? oh well.
#2 or #1, but I'd actually prefer something less busy and more neutral color and not so in your face bright orange and yellow
I'd like to see something from the gallery.
Like a banner or series of images that shows off characters.
People power
One of the Graphic Artists at Daz has a thing they do for store sales where they make a montage or blend a bunch of images together.
A banner full of awesome art.
#3.
3 and 4 :)

I'm also curious why the images lean so heavily on pyro effects, something DS is not particularly good at or known for.
Not trying to be a jerk, but in #1 that looks more like Dragon vomit than anything else to me. #2 might be better without the not-quite-working-lightning and I might have voted for #4 if it had the contrast and colorfulness of #3. I agree that the four images are an odd set of same-choices. Why not have four very diverse images? Better stop before I fall off my soapbox.
VDBs are getting emission - see the Change Log (search in page for volumetric)
#3
I thought that was already possible: https://www.daz3d.com/vdb-laser-blades-and-poses
obviously rendered entirely in DAZ Studio, not a Ron Deviney brush in sight
I think the glow and the volume are separate there, the emissive volumes are currently in the Public Build not the General Release.
The 4 choices are far too blinkered for my liking.
I'll stick to 'Preferences/Interface/General: Splash Image: Alternate' thanks.
Against the current, I'm going with #4. Though, yes, #3 seems best overall in quality for contrasts and balance and quality of the effects.
#4 though visually pleasing, feels nicely less intense, less in your face, and more distant with space for the eyes to roam - which all seems better suited to staring at each day... I'd have had enough of the others real quick...
...#5.
So much destruction and mayhem going on in the real world, would be nice to have a break.

I also would like to have seen one human figure. I use Daz for the people. Most items in the store are focused on people. I assume the next version will have some emphasis on fire I guess? But still.
I do not like the 2nd because is too specific.
And also I am not a fan of all the destruction themes...
1 and 2 don't make sense from a story point of view. In 1 we have a napalm-vomiting dragon that is so upset ith the buildings it has made multiple passes setting them alight. One wonders just what the buildings did to irritate him. In 2 we have a giant reptile being attacked by a small aircraft of some sort with an unstable lightning generator and no real explanation for the fires in the background.
So - in order, 4 then 3; 3 is a bit busy for my taste and I'd prefer 4 if I have to look at it for any length of time.
#3.. something about the bits of car getting flung about.. although, IMO.. that racing seat really aught to be on fire with a smoking contrail.. hotseat.. get it.. sigh.
Ranked choice voting seems to be popular here. INTERESTING.
My pick is #2... Because "Godzilla"... who I'm sure is not meant to specifically represent any particular giant prehistoric reptile and is merely a generic representation of a nondescript kaiju of standard Godzilla-esque proportions.
Technically... #1 is probably better, but it has a distinct lack of Godzilla.
#3 and #4 seem are ok... 3 more so than 4...
Technically, I'm not sure what's going on with the electricity in (not) Godzilla's render... is it lighting, does he have the ability to burp electricity, did the energizer bunny explode?
Overall I feel a gratuitous use of fire to convey the ability to gratuitously render fire, but it's fire so... cool.
For me it is #3.
