Ed3D two excellent entries well done.

    NGartplay beautifully done underwater scene

ed3D - nicely done examples, I particularly like the more blue one.

NGartplay - great, the caustics look very good.

  • adbcadbc Posts: 3,115

ed3D : both beautiful entries, the hazy one has my preference.

NGartplay : very good looking caustics.

  • NGartplayNGartplay Posts: 3,113

Thank you.  David took my image and figured out what I did wrong.  He corrected it.  I made a small adjustment to the caustics (tiny changes made huge differences), changed landscape and added other objects.  A huge thank you to David for taking time out of his busy schedule to help me.

  • ed3d - both are well done. My favorite is the second one.

NGartplay - the caustic looks great, yes. beautiful entry.

ed3D, really like this one.  The effect and lighting are so well done.  You could always click on the submarine, choose E to edit it and smooth it out, if your computer can handle it.

ed3D, I like the two different versions, but the second one a bit more. But your last entry is really very good. I love the sign too.

Hi all! Hope everyone is doing well. A very challenging challenge and I see everyone was up to the task with some really excellent images.
    My first entry “Mazie”.
    Dolphin by zygote.
    Rocky coastline by THC.
    Oil barrel by Shaaramuse3D.
    Fish byTucana
Environment created by a large volumetric textured cube with a water plane above. Illuminated by the sun. Rendered at normal AA about three hours,

    My second entry: “Still Life”..
Glass objects and book from DAZ 3D.
    Tulip by Lisa's botanicals.
    Clock from share CG.
The entire scene is enclosed in a large cube and illuminated by a spotlight pointing at the objects and flipped spotlight illuminating the back of the cube to give the Glass something to reflect. Rendered at 16 RPP, true ambience enable and 6 Ray bounces. About 17 hours to rent.
Good luck to all and thanks for taking a look!
