mermaid - thank you.
adbc - thank you. Very nice scene, the transition of the water to the sky is perfectly invisible.
mermaid010: Nicely done! That looks really remote. The clouds are excellent.
Horo: Wow! Fantastic image. Looks quite realistic. The material is excellent!
adbc: Looks excellent. I assume it's on a alien planet.
I didn't make the following scene myself, I just changed it a bit. The original is from alymac and can be downloaded at sharecg.com (select Bryce and search for "misty"). I wanted to bring it to your attention because there are some interesting things in it.
For example, the haze is affected by Ambience (A slick solution, something that would never have occurred to me :-), good use of Bryce trees, nicely done stream, interesting materials that may not be quite realistic but work just well.
I just replaced one tree, added two rocks and changed the light.
Horo, Electro-Elvis : thank you.
Electro-Elvis : this is indeed a very interesting scene.
Electro-Elvis - this forest at ta creek looks very nice. Thank you also for the suggestion.
I redid a scene that was my third picture in the Daz Bryce September 2007 galleries. The sink with the faucets was modelled in Wings3D by David Brinnen, the room, furniture and tiles were self made, the Geniebottles and the washing machine were available at Daz 3D a long time ago. Light by three radials with soft shadows. The out-flowing water is a symmetrical lattice with a water material.
Below the anaglyph.
.
Wow that's a beautiful scene, Adbc love the atmosphere,
Electro-Elvis - thanks, very nicely done render. There are some awesome files by alymac at ShareCg worth studying.
Horo - an amazing interior render, beautiful lighting, awesome anaglyph.
Inspired by Horo’s use of the Red Filter, I used it for this render, the terrain is from HRT-2 and material and lighting from HRT-1, the birds are a freebies.
Horo : fantastic interior scene and anaglyph.
mermaid : thank you. Amazing render, great material and beautiful sky.
Thank you mermaid. Your beautiful morning is indeed beautiful.
Thank you adbc.
Thanks Adbc and Horo
Hi all, been on vacation and just got back. Beautiful images from everyone. Amazingly pretty landscapes Horo, mermaid, adbc and Elvis.
Thanks NGartplay
NGartplay : thank you.
Originally started for the caustic challenge.
2 Bryce terrains, grass, abandoned cars : Sketchfab by Renafox.
adbc, that's awesome. It reminds me of a watercolor painting.
Very sorry for not reacting on all your wonderful renders. Real life (out there) can be too time consuming.
I did find time to quickly modify several (abstract) scenes and let them re-render while I was doing other things. So this comment will feature some. They are all variants of things I have shown before. Don't worry if you think some are chaotic: they are (and I like them that way).
In the first one, I captured the ghost of a dragon. The second one is a panoramic render of the same scene with very different textures and lights. The third one is from Escher_2 by Hubert. So is the fourth and the fifth one..
Wow Adbc beautiful work, I agree it looks like a painting
Hansmar – a lovely set of abstracts, I don’t have a preference, I like all of them.
City at Twilight is a model from Sharecg by Steve, lighting from the Deep Space 2 and a galaxy from Space construction Kit
NGartplay, Hansmar, mermaid : thank you.
Hansmar : that's a great set of abstracts, love them all, Ghost of the dragon is fascinating.
mermaid : beautiful twilight city, fabulous lighting.
Thank you NGartplay.
adbc - not a nice but a very well done scene.
Hansmar - thank you. Five interesting abstracts, the first is my favorite.
mermaid - great city at night.
Horo : thank you.
mermaid, dark and dramatic cityscape. The sky adds so much drama and the city is believable. Great job.
Hansmar, you always amaze me with the effects that you achieve with your abstracts. Interesting, wild, beautiful.
Thanks Adbc, Horo and NGartplay
The terrain is from Grand Mountains with a material from High Resolution Terrains 4. Sky by a Cloud Sphere and the ambient light by a SkySC HDRI and the key light by the sun.
Horo : fantastic mountain scene, beautiful sky and clouds.
Thank you adbc.
Horo, splendid scene. The erosion is well done.
Thank you NGartplay.
Another outstanding mountain scene Horo, awesome materials and lighting
Thank you mermaid.
The terrain is from Grand Mountains with a modified material from High Resolution Terrains 3, the rain is from Environment - Inclement Weather. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI from Sunless HDRI Skies and the key light by the sun.
Wow this scene is so photorealistic Horo, I love it
Horo : I agree with mermaid, I love it too.
Thank you mermaid and adbc.
