This was going to be a quick render of the Fantasy Plague Doctor for G9 but it turned into a search through my various fantasy and medieval sets to find one that gave a background I liked and that my computer could render with Genesis 9 and clothes in the same scene.
All snow effects were made with Let It Snow, which I got in the sale last month. Landscape and columns are originally without snow. Only added blur, haze, and colour correction in post. I'm quite impressed with the product!
So I'm still trying to work with my new items and am trying to get better with my renders so this one is practicing / leaning more things with dforce. I'm trying to work through all the tutorials start to finish on the PDFs listed in the How to Use dForce thread. This is part 1 with a blanket. I also used a deformer on the pillow.
sid That 4th promo and the main one for Tauriel are gorgeous and definitely make one want to get them! Looks pretty much like Saidge42's promo work and her skills are next level. I also wouldn't mind seeing people's renders of either of the characters. And seeing those promos, I feel like making some gritty sepia-infused renders too.
Shimrian Those are well done! And they make for great story-telling renders. I'm also trying to practice using dForce more and using the timeline better. It's sooo much work though, but the results for scenes just like yours really make it worth it I think.

Impressive picture! Is that a gypsyangel character?
'Let it snow' is an 'old' product by now, but it's still great. I also love the rain of glitter stars you can make with it.
Just wanted to try some random stuff quickly. I tried out Fabian for G8M, electro hair and a pose set from my shopping excursion from just over an hour ago.
I'm still mostly testing PA sale stuff, but there's a few items here that I've picked up this last week.
I was using this as an example to show my SIL - a physical media artist - around Daz, so this was an exercise in showing a neophyte around the interface, picking assets, applying poses, materials and shaders. The guy outside was fully outfitted with a recently acquired hair and outfit, but in this final version, you can't see enough of him that I get to count the new stuff that I used for him.
this one has 4 items ... Zhen, the hair, towels on floor, and the bikini. , oh and the pose. Jackpot on this one actually using some stuff. Unusual for me

I was considering buying that hair even though I don't buy into gen 9 but it looks really nice
Not much time to render this month (I sense a worrying trend with my time), but I got an idea for an entry for Daz+ contest, so throwing it here as well. It uses Violin poses from this sale, and Jungle Ruins Redux from the previous one. The rest of the items in the gallery.
Impressive picture! Is that a gypsyangel character?
Thank you!
The shape is a mix of SWOLE G8M (I think Hercules and Samson, if I remember it right), Holt 8, a little bit of Brandon, and probably some other tweaks. Skin is Devon out of the box.
Here's a mix of things I picked up at the PA and the current sale ... OMG, the salopette set, with its little sketch board, pastel and poses, is so adorable. I really didn't realize that it had the art kit and poses - I was just buying some crazy inexpensive kid-appropriate clothes to have on hand.
I tinkered some with the older sister's skin tone to lighten her a bit but should've done a little more.
Since I had the two sisters from the previous render ready to use, in a scene that already had my two current G8 test figures (off camera, but in there somewhere), this was the logical next step. I'm not super-happy with the George hair here, but of the obscene amount of stuff I have bought since the beginning of the PA sale, that was the closest thing to a normal guy hair, not counting G9 hairs (at least one of which - Holland - causes saved scenes to be absurdly huge).
I was delighted when I discovered that the Spindle Fae is a morph you can put on any figure... and this is how this image came to be.
Used: SSY Spindle Fae from the current sale and HH Ravager Drone from the previous one (yes, I still haven't rendered even half of what I got last month). The rest of the items in the gallery.
So yesterday I got a couple of items including the Door Buster Gerry 80s Vibe Hair for Genesis 9 and 8 Males. I thought it might look good on a female and just started playing with it after watching a YT video on Moghedien and just started going crazy with a goth and the spiders theme. This is a preview, but I also have a full scene in progress with spiders and maybe webs!
Also love all the Halloweenish themes and @mwokee, love your gnomes!
Thanks for the comments @SapphireBlue, I've still got lots of learning and tutorials to do. I'm never going to run out!
Great job everyone and thanks for sharing images. I can't wait to see more!

Lost in thought
LOVE LOVE LOVE this render. It's so thoughtful! Well done!
I'm enjoying returning to this thread to look at all the renders and feeling inspiration to try out new stuff.
The previous 'Princess' render I did here inspired a fairytale story idea and I couldn't help but work on that one this week. It's in 4 parts and I managed to finish the first part. I used OOT fantasy hair, earrings, ultimate pose mixer pro and plenty of the pose and expression packs I got in the PA and DAZ+ sales.
There are a handful of renders in part 1, so I'll just link to the gallery for the full thing and just post the part 1 title image here:

A couple more trying out the Legacy UVs for Gen9 - I already had the Male version but picked up the Female version in the PA Sale.
Holiday Snaps
This is Alawa 8 skin on a dial-spun G9. (The clouds behind her are from GNBD Clouds PSD and Brushes picked up in that sale.)
And this is Tyrone for Darius 8 skin on a dial-spun G9 wearing the Recon Outfit for G9 from the Amelia 9 Pro Bundle.
Some really great renders here.

Items used that I picked up during the sale: Victorian Bedroom, P3D Mia HD for Genesis 9, and dForce Bob Style Hair for Genesis 8 Females and Genesis 9 (got this one before the sale, but used since it had dforce). I moved her right arm up (with body pinned) before the simulation than moved it down after so it didn't get in the way.
There is also a side view attached, but looking at details on the sheets, it could use improvements. :)
Enjoying all the great renders!
Hylas Fierce guy in the snow is awesome!

Trying out the FSL Pro series Architectural Elements. This is the Neon City preload with Karmen 9, drinks being delivered by the Helper Bot.

Gnomely was on sale.
Great render ! Where is the house from?
Background was created with AI. It's an ongoing struggle for me to find 3D products that fit my needs. But... thank you.
Yes.. we reeeeeeeeeally do need a gnome home :)

A couple of renders with Lyoness's new Druid Charms bundle.
First up, a pretty straight version of it:

And second, some experimentation with material tweaks and some of the other texture options to get some swimwear out of it as well:

LOVE LOVE LOVE this render. It's so thoughtful! Well done!
Okay, the last two renders with Lyoness's new Druid Charms bundle were far too sensible, let's see if I can fit it on a centaur:

I love the druid's charm bundle goodies. they look GREAT!

The start of a sweet and compelling adventure! You put together a great sequence of story-telling moments.
