It's a matter of taste, I suppose. At 5000 (max), when you turn the camera, you get a constant fuzz of color that may be more soothing to one's soul than what I get at 8-- the screen runs into Pale Primitives mode until I finish turning... then redraws instantly. Me, personally, I associate the Pale Primitive mode with bad news. So I prefer the fuzz (also helpful when tracking down strong lighting conditions).

That is strange because I get the fuzzy colour mode at 8 but not at 5000 :)

Here is the post worked version.  I didn't really want to do a huge amount, i was pretty happy with the original.  Just wanted to bring her eyes out a bit more and put in a just a touch of special effects.

    Nice...EVERYTHING!

  • I will play with the setting, but the increase in speed this gives is a game changer for me.  Literally.  So thank you again!

This is a little something that may be coming to the Daz store soon.  She has a TON of make up options as well as several eyebrow options that include a no brow.

  • Well then, I guess I will have to post that elsewhere...  You can see the removed image on my Deviant Art page. I will do one a litte more clothed for the next one.

Character test of the two skins for Diva's Telly, hopefully coming soon to a Daz store near you! One skin tone is a bit cooler and one is a bit warmer.  I can't decide which I like the be Tons of options with her, she really has some gorgeous make up options (lots of choices) and comes with nail and toe colors as well.  Some really pretty eye colors as well

Edited to add that apparently, I am going to have to try and load the render later since it is refusing to load.

I noticed the forums were a bit laggy this morning and I am just typing. *shrugs*

  • So I keep trying to load something and Its just....not.  Anyone else having an issue.  I cleared my cache etc and nothing is helping.

I loaded an image just now on my thread. I wonder why you are having issues? Hmm...

  • No idea.  I have no problem loading images anywhere else so who knows.  Hopefully it will clear up soon.

Weird. I am not totally sure how it all works, but I have read where people don't see sale pages and other glitches when others don't.  I hope it clears up soon also.

Well, I ended up posting it elsewhere, then resaving it from there.  No idea what the problem was, I had done nothing different than I usually do.  Anyway.  Here is Diva's Telly, hopefully coming soon.  Two skin tones, cool and warm, lots of options for make up, eyes and eyebrows including a no brow options.Nails and toe nail colors as well.

    lets try this again.jpg

  • Diva's Telly looks really nice.  I like her figure and her head morph.  Textures look pretty good, too.  I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the postwork on the centaur battle scene.

Nice looking character from Diva there! I lke tha way you dressed them in the same outfit but made the the shader different.

  • Thanks KM and Linwelly.  She is a fun character and I really like her body shape a lot as well.

Okay, finished the Centaur and Orc battle.  Original and then final. Best viewed full size I usually render at about 2000

Nice post work. It looks really great. :)

  • Thank you!  I'm working on merging Daz and postwork as a more permanent part of the process.

  • LianaLiana Posts: 1,035

I know I should consider it more myself, especially with the lack of proper backgrounds for some of the scene/props I get.

  • You did  great job with post work, not overdone and adds great color tones.  Original render is good too.  The post work did what it is supposed to do - enhanced.

  • I like the postwork, too.  Nice touch with the blood and the fog blends in nicely.  I like what you did.

    Wonderful action on that one!

  • Thank you everyone.  I think the hardest part for me is learning the right balance between the two.  Some stuff needs very little but its hard to stop playing sometimes.  Other stuff needs a lot more but needs to look like just a little.  I'm sure I will be learning to balance for years to come.  In the mean time, I'm having a lot of fun with it anyhow lol!
