Thank you so much for testing my character. Your render of her is lovely! Pretty devastated about her rejection just based on the renders I had sent them of her. I feel like if they had tested the character or saw all her options they wouldn't have rejected her, but she didn't even make it past the submitted renders I sent them. They don't even allow people to send the character first, they just rejected her based on a few images. Oh well ... a month of work down the drain ..no ...big ..deal *rocks and cries in the corner*. Heh Kidding - kind of.
I'm probably not going to be around much for a while. I'm pretty destroyed emotionally. All that time and work ...for nothing.
Thank you for your time and effort in testing my character. I really appreciate it.
Oh no, don't let this stop you! I think you did a great job with her and have gotten lots of compliments on her renders. Have you considered putting her up for sale elsewhere? I think she would do very well! And don't for a second think you can't do this!
I say the same as Sonja try selling her elsewhere and you did a good job. I don't know what all she has for options. She looks great! :)
Diva - if you are checking, I second Sonja. Try not to be discouraged. For this set, think about that place that rhymes with velocity. But don;t give up on the Daz store going forward. Lots of people love your work here.
She has a ton of options. Lots of make up, a bunch of brows as well as a no brow option, nails and toe nails and two skin tones.
That sounds great. :) I hope she has read our comments.
Me too!
I found you action scene withe the troll and the centaur over at the dA, very nicely done, great atmosphere and that colour actually works fo it
Thank you very much! Trying to move things up to the next level. Scary process!
Been wanting to do a quick test render of (a ton of stuff but we will start here lol) the newest Medieval castle and the much longer Long Nose Dragon. (Dragons live for a long time don't you know...)
This is Jeroyn by @DarwinsMishaps. LOVE him he is gorgeous! Justa quick test render, will be fleshing this scene out a lot more and then doing a bit of post work on it as well I think.
Those are really nice renders. The castle is almost like hogwarts. We just got done watching the Harry Potter series. :)
I love Harry Potter and every time they do a marathon I try and watch from beginning to end lol.
Oh, count me in as an HP fan! Best book series ever and they all made great movies.
Wow-he looks wicked in this one! Can't wait to see the end result.
Like the castle/dragon render as well- could very well be a cover there. Well done!
Thank you! I am halfway through a book cover tutorial and I believe I may have rendered these in those dimensions. Will have to check lol. I definitely need to add a bunch of stuff especially to the table to make it look more real. Jeroyn makes one heck of a Scottish Warlord lol. Lots of work yet to be done on these but summer is winding down and I will have more time to get some stuff done. I love summer, and I am sad its almost over but I also am secretly happy that more time to work on my art is coming lol.
love that castle with the dragon, but I'm always a fan of the dragons. :D
Thank you! Me too!
Thought I would continue to try out some of the stuff I have.... This is Creech Female from @Greybro and Sixus 1 Media. The skeleton is M4.
Best seen at full size
Sppoky and cool!
Yay! Harry Potter fans. I actually own them all on dvd, soooo. :)
Is the skeleton trying to sneak up on the fish person?? :P Almost reminds me of the Stargate sg-1 episode called I think, "Into the Fire" Daniel gets captured by a fish guy who is looking for his wife/mate who came up missing about 5000 years prior. In the mean time, everyone thought Daniel died in a fire on the planet they visited.
Edit: It was "Fire and Water" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0709091/?ref_=ttep_ep12
Thanks @Greybro. Hard to go wrong with Creech!
@Liana - Yes the skeleton is going after her, but I think its too late for him to sneak lol.
I will have to check out that episode, I'm pretty fond of Stargate as well.
fantastic lighting and color on that last one, it even has dust specks! The atmasphere really sets the mood for it
Thank you! I am really happy with this one. The only thing I might have added was some puddles on the floor but it got too late. I may go back and add those at some point, or do it post.
@Liana Ack! I remember that episode. I have all of the Stargate episodes on DVD. Plus the movies. I really need to get those out again sometime and watch them. I have all of the HP movies except the last two on DVD. I really do need to get those and add them to my collection. I saw all of the movies in the theater with my oldest, read him the books, too. It was kind of our thing. Great memories. He was just the right age to drag to the movies to watch them so no one noticed. I would have totally gone by myself if I needed to though. Luckily, my oldest fell in love with HP, too, and wanted to go see them. He ended up reading the whole series on his own again just a couple of years ago. All three boys have watched all of the movies I have on DVD to the point of almost wearing them out. I might have to replace them someday.
Sonja, great image with the Creech Female and the skeleton. Lots of atmosphere. :)
@Knittingmommy & Sonja My partner Jim has all the Sg-1 episodes, but the last 2 seasons. I forget how many times I have seen them now. We have videos that need to be replaced too.
The skelly probably gave itself away by its bones clanking around. LOL
That and dragging that metal sword across the cobblestones lol!
This is Montana for Genesis. I played around with her lips a bit in photoshop as well as changing the color of the dress and leaves and added a tiny bit of texture to the leaves.
Creech and the skeleton are very hard to top.
My goodness. The coloring and the low poses. Well done.
Thank you very much! I had a lot of fun with this one.
