As a Premier member I am unable to add the DAZ+ exclusive items to my cart. Is anybody who is still a DAZ+ member able to add them to their cart ???

    yes

Thanks. It doesn't seem fair to members who swtched to Premier to not be able to purchase them while those who didn't switch can still get them.

    I certainly does not.

We will ask about this. Currently we can't see any difference between + and Premier Members, which makes figuring the issue out a little harder/

This was not intended, and in fact they will be losing their exclusive status. The main obstacle is identifying them - if we can get a full list they should be doable today, while the offer is good. So far I have

    81728 83603 83525 81203 82152 83984

    are there any others?

The products listed should now be purchasable.

Yes and no. It wasn't one of the regular DAZ+ exclusive items; but it was an Easter egg freebie that was only available to DAZ+ member back in April 2023.

FYI on the current BYOB selection:

https://www.daz3d.com/sci-fi-rusty-railyardhttps://www.daz3d.com/enclosed-side-gardenhttps://www.daz3d.com/tropical-beachhttps://www.daz3d.com/firing-range, & https://www.daz3d.com/se-planet-saxum won't work with the deal. It's been reported but no response yet.

Planet Saxum is New - there may be other New ones I missed.

The other 4 probably don't work because they are D+ Exclusives, not plain old D+; that is, they could only be bought by members, not by nonmembers at higher prices. Probably never intended to be discounted. But Daz 3D apparently didn't have a plan for fitting them into the new tiers. (Add that to the Didn't Think This Through list.)

Even though not being able to include the planet & the beach is a deal breaker for me on this set & I would prefer it not be tied to a coupon code, I still think this is almost as good as the previous BYOB. There are more recent items than in the past, and $2 each is decent for many of them. (Not the oldest, of course which are under $1 without the deal. LOL)

Thank you for bring this up! I put in a request for help yesterday when my BYOB coupon didn't work. They haven't responded, but now I see what was wrong.

I didn't know that the "View all items" button didn't refer to all of the items under the "View all items" button. How dumb of me. I'm probably becoming senile.

And I didn't remember the "No new releases" requirement because clicking the button got me started with a few hours of search and research. And that's a bad habit! I own about 5800 items here and about 1800 at Rendero, so in truth, I could theoretically create most any image imaginable, and they don't have to look 'great' since it's just a hobby now. And a hobby isn't a hobby if it involves tedious hours of research and game-playing with badly-presented, confusing sales offers.

Have you tried to purchase Enclosed Side Garden recently? I just purchased it, in fact I didn't even have to add any other items to ge the coupon code to work.

I love the celluloid style, and I was excited the day Filatoon came out, but then I realized that to get to the level I wanted, it would take a lot of time to learn and buy products, and frankly there are better options. I chose to wait and see and not buy.

After I missed the 30% off GC, there is not much left. I heard that this month's sale should be a great deal, so I gave up a lot of DAZ original merchandise last month, but now? Maybe my party will end early , or never started.

Filatoon is super easy! You don't even need to buy anything, just play with the free characters (that you can use other morphs on) and play with the shaders on all your existing content! And to whoever mentioned that toon stuff was for making "naughty' images (I think that's how they phrased it) must be living in a different world. Have you never seen children's books or cartoons? It never even occurred to my brain to use the toon shaders in that way.

In the person's defense I don't think he was saying that filatoon is for naughty stuff. I believ3 what was being pointed out is that a bunch of the 3d tools for doing 3d anime like characters are for naughty stuff. They are owned by companies that erotic content is their bread and butter. So the advent of filatoon gives a new user base who wants to do anime type stuff well without having to use the tools by the erotic companies. And, yes, the person is right because I likely know the companies being talked about. The software can be used to make awesome stuff, but it comes from hent@i computer game makers, so it is nice to have filatoon for Daz now to allow making stuff without having to use software from a VERY family NON-friendly environment.

I don't know where to put this comment. I'm really gag-reflex repulsed by the so-called anime and toon offerings I've seen since filatoon came out. Just ew! No to Vicky and Mikey et al. I will never buy any of that!

that toon stuff makes shopping easy here now... just whoosh right by them. Ueah, I'm not into toons much either, especially that style.

And I thought five days of trolls a couple of years ago was a buzzkill. This whole week I've spent a total of $10, one BYOB on some G9 stuff. Started to try to assemble a cart today and thought, eh. I have complete lack of energy and enthusiasm for this sale so far.

Wow, I think the FilaToon stuff is the best thing to come from Daz since dForce! I can reuse all my existing content in a whole new way with instant renders! I hope they come out with more FilaToon content although it seems pretty easy to add the shaders to most older content. I whoosh by regular stuff looking for toon content lol.

I'm with Wonderland. FilaToon is an absolute fantastic offering from DAZ. heart I'm definitely loving it! It doesn't take long to get the hang off. It's insanely fast to render, which is also great for animations. You can take it in a lot of different directions from straight up toon or anime styles, to things that are more illustrative or artistic. Also, you really don't need to buy much for it since you can use the free G9 toons and morph them or apply the shaders to other characters from any generation. And wow yes, you now can put all kinds of old assets to new use. I'm looking at all my old stuff in the product library in a whole new light.

I like the new toon hair and environment offerings. But I think it'd be great to have new shader sets too that the FilaToon shaders can be applied on or with. Predictable things like hatching and halftone, but also grungy or textured sets that can help create different visual styles. I'm currently scouring through and repurposing some old shaders sets, making a few simple ones myself or using the LIE layers to apply texture. But I'd love to see some sets from the PAs! smiley

Bunyip02 well mine says PayPal but I cannot click on it and in my account can only choose credit card

it never was this complicated before and honestly I cannot be bothered as really cannot afford it anyway

I thought I would join just one month on a whim but stuff that, DAZ's loss not mine devil

If I can't buy a discounted yearly sub and pay for it with store credit its a big no from me.

Am doing subscription for DAZ AI but that's as far as I will go, find it useful for concept art, otherwise I would be sticking to Krita AI.

I have paid for a couple AI image to video sites and used photographs and 3D renders

    quite impressed with the results

Was sticking to my hobby budget before, but now that I am not renewing DAZ+ and am starting to do my own models which means I will be spending less on purchases, then I will see how my budget pans out and might take up some other offers. Paying by PayPal will be a requisite though.

Looks like all the missing bundles are back but were renamed to "Character Bundle" and "HD Add-On Bundle". Probably to facilitate new Premier coupon.

I know what you are saying, it's a good toy (for a private person) , but not as professional and commercial as DAZ.

I want to make something like "persona 5" or some mobile games  or Japanese 3D animation style. I know BLENDER can do it. But I'm learning DAZ, if DAZ can do it, I'll be happy.

Because I don’t have much enthusiasm for this month’s sales, now I have time to research "FILATOON" and other things I bought last month.

Wait... Is there a GC discount today? Hmm...

If you have tokens, most daz+ items can be had for a vastly better deal today by buying the debut new daz+ item instead of the BYOB. Most of the items in my cart are around 56 to 89 cents at 96% and higher off. This is not old gen 3 or older stuff either. This is gen9 to gen8 props, characters, and shaders.

Just complaining, after missing 30% of the GC, I used the remaining GC very frugally. When the sales started to pique my interest, and the GC was also on sale, I happily pushed the shopping cart, but PAYPAL failed (definitely a problem with PAYAPL , and the customer service is on vacation), and the credit card cannot be used. After trying various solutions and wasting more than ten hours, I decided to give up attending this 25th anniversary party. Now I can focus on rendering my recently purchased toys.

PS: Report submitted, but I know this won't get me to the party in time.

  • Finally, the figure I was wanting went to 75% discount so it would stack with a New Item in cart! So I used the $10 off $25 & discounted GC to buy Maryam 9 & get a bunch of other things off WL. So I am happy. Probably won't buy anything else this sale. Ended up passing on the BYOB since my Wishlisted D+ were cheaper stacking with the cheap New item.

Huh, probably all of you guys with the great sale experience have bought Premier, no? Because I, being DAZ+, really don't seem to be getting such great deals. Even really old stuff, like Ant Farm's Lenore series, is still 3 or 4 bucks with a debut new item. These things must be twenty years old, items of that age range used to be on sale for under a dollar.
So am I doing something wrong or is really everything geared towards Premier now? In that case, I'll just keep not spending much I guess ...

To be honest, I am on Premier now and I don't see such an amazing discounts on this sale... sure you can get some items for half a dollar but these are like from several generations ago.

    - Door buster -  is about the one thing I will buy almost always given its $1 for Premier,

    - Premier for a Day - have not used it even once. Buy-in requirement plus a coupon code that competes with other codes,

    - 30% of GC - would be nice but it was only offered once and Premier conversion system was broken for a week for me,

    - Anniversary Bundle - the good items I already own, the rest I can get for cheaper than $2 or dont interest me.

    - Debut New/Artists/etc - I will only touch when I have to reroll tokens.

Everything is geared towards Premier now. With Daz+ being significantly more expensive now and at the same time less attractive than it used to be, it's only normal that we Daz+ subscribers have a hard time finding really good deals. I haven't spent much during this sale either.

I don't think +9 is generally more expensive, so far at least, but Premier is getting extra discounts. I am still mid-way (+, but with the in-house PA discount) and have spent way too much so the offers worked for me (but I haven't purchased many +/Premier for the day items, even though I think the price is lower than I recall from last year or recent years in general).

Yeah, this is where I'm sitting. I'm in the same boat as a previous poster... I passed on a bunch of DO last sale thinking the prices would be better this one, but so far haven't spent a single cent on anything except the buy-in to get the mid-Halloween freebie offer up to the higher amount.

I'm not horribly upset; the DO's I passed on were wants and not needs. Failing all else I'll knock them off eventually with my monthly DO coupon. I'm just surprised.

These things must be twenty years old, items of that age range used to be on sale for under a dollar.
So am I doing something wrong or is really everything geared towards Premier now? In that case, I'll just keep not spending much I guess ...

Everything is geared towards Premier now. With Daz+ being significantly more expensive now and at the same time less attractive than it used to be, it's only normal that we Daz+ subscribers have a hard time finding really good deals. I haven't spent much during this sale either.

Agreed. Since Premier members get both bigger discounts and earn tokens twice as fast, it means the initial/stacking discounts are less to account for that, which makes me feel that the now-more-expensive Daz+ is becoming somewhat of an ugly stepchild. I spent some in this sale, but pretty much only a few door busters and odd Daz+ for a Day. The bundle offer is laughable for that price, and without extra discounts, Featured Artists selection isn't all that attractive, especially when compared to the last month. Since tokens now expire slower, I have a few, and I still haven't found any real incentive to use them.

It is the Daz+ subscription cost over a year that is way more expensive than the old annual sale price.

Yesterday I got $1262.22 worth of stuff with $40.60 of store credit and my $10 DO coupon premier coupon which was enough to earn 8 more tokens on a cart that was roughly 97% off. My cart was comprised of Ally9 bundle, Quercus Oculus - Creepy Trees With Eyes, and 55 other daz+ items most of which were gen 9 from this and last year and some from the gen 8 era. I had a lot of daz+ scifi items I had wanted and not picked up yet. I wanted to spend $40 to replace the 8 tokens I was using, and since I was using the tokens it was a good idea to throw in some qualifying DO items (Ally9 bundle and creepy trees) at 93% to use the $10 coupon. I had premier discount, debut new daz+ item, 8 tokens, and my $10 DO coupon. Looking at the individual categories is important as I almost missed stuff I wanted by not looking in the correct category. As premier, buying almost any DO released this year, with the debut new item and 8 tokens, the discount was 88% off. Daz+ items from this year were mostly around 94% off. A number of DO bundles from last year were 94 and 95% off. Almost all Daz+ items can be had for vastly cheaper than the stupid BYOB deal if you have premier and tokens. I like spending $40 for 55 newish Daz+ items instead of $110 for those same items via multiple bundle purchases.
