Still can't find old daz content folder

    The path that you have displayed in Finder is not the path you're looking at inside DS.  The DS path is ".../My Library/2016 Additions/Environments/Architecture/..." but the path shown in Finder is not underneath "My Library", it's directly under "Studio".

    Thanks very much. It looks like it will work now. I will next test the poser files to make sure they are working.

    I have downloaded http://www.daz3d.com/ethnicity-for-genesis-bundle 3times now using the installer However, it does not show up in D3D and when I do a search for it in the finder, nothing is revealed. I looked in How do I find where the DIM is putting it. 

     

    It may be that It doesn't show up as content but consist of only shaper controls. However I can not find those either. Anyone know where they are?

    They are morphs, they wont show up in the content libraries.  That is what the line, "This product contains no user facing files." in the individual product pages means.

    I have not verified these are them, however in the Parameters pane I see parameters some with similar names to the files in the one of the products in this bundle, see screenshot.  Also check the Shaping pane. To be 100% sure that you are looking at the right ones, you could temporarily uninstall the product and verify that the parameters go away, and reappear when the product is reinstalled.

    To see all of your parameters at once, click All (I often loose them), and you can also search for parameters with names that match a string (in screenshot, I limited it to parameters with "asian" in the name.)

    (It might be harder for you to find the files in question if you have installed them all together, I happen to have installed most products into their own folders, let me know if you want screenshots showing the filenames used in the other two products in this bundle.  I can't remember for sure, but I think if you use DIM you can also see a list of all the files for a given product there as well as by manually looking in Windows.)

    The problem could be that I am using Genesis 2 and you are using Genesis? Anyway those don't show up for me.

    Ah, that's probably it.  Yes, I'm using Genesis, and the product says it is for Genesis and not Genesis2.  (You may want to research the possibility of transferring morphs from G1 to G2... I've not tried nor researched, not sure if you can get a product to do it or not, or how well it would work if you can.)

    They should be in the Shaping or Parameters tabs.
