Love the idea of this thread since most of my renders come from music. Usually because I am experimenting in DS while listening to my play list on random.
Did this one a couple of year's ago for John Lennon's birthday...
"Fixing a Hole"
I'm fixing a hole where the rain gets in
And stops my mind from wandering
Where it will go
I have a bunch of others, but this is one of my favorites.

Nice. That looks like one the Beatles Rock Band clips. I tried to play that game but I have zero coordination.
Okay, one more picture for the thread today.
"And You And I" by Yes
I listened hard but could not see
Life tempo change out and inside me
The preacher trained in all to lose his name
The teacher travels, asking to be shown the same
In the end we'll agree, we'll accept, we'll immortalize
That the truth of man maturing in his eyes
All complete in the sight of seeds of life with you
Coming quickly to terms of all expression laid
As a moment regained and regarded both the same
Emotion revealed as the ocean maid
A clearer future, morning, evening, nights with you
And you and I climb, crossing the shapes of the morning
And you and I reach over the sun for the river
And you and I climb, clearer towards the movement
And you and I called over valleys of endless seas

Delta Dawn
Tanya Tucker 1972
Helen Reddy 1973
She's forty-one and her daddy still calls her, 'baby'
All the folks around Brownsville say she's crazy
'Cause she walks down town with a suitcase in her hand
Looking for a mysterious dark-haired man

Tanya Tucker does it for me. Delta Dawn was my CB handle back in the day, and the name of the car I drove then. (cos she was a faded rose from days gone by:- The car I mean) And yes we had CB radio over here, although it wasn't as big time as it was your side of the pond.

Boo on cb's I got so tired of the noise and jabber I tossed mine in the pond. Some where near Bodega Bay if I recall. Or it may have been the dumpster behind the super market. No need to make the fish suffer.
Speaking of the pond you may want to dive into this song.

Yellow Polka Dot Bikini
Bryan Hyland 1960
Now she is afraid to come out of the water
And I wonder what she's gonna do
Now she is afraid to come out of the water
And the poor little girl's turning blue
Two, three, four, tell the people what she wore
It was an itsy, bitsy, teenie, weenie, yellow polka-dot bikini
That she wore for the first time today
An itsy, bitsy, teentie, weenie, yellow polka-dot bikini
So in the water she wanted to stay
I had some time last summer, and was working on a similar theme for one of the newbie contests. I picked a song and did a render. Then another idea came to me, so I did another render. When it was all said and done, I had an entire music video! I couldn't enter the whole thing in the new user forum, so I picked a collage, but really didn't hold out much hope of winning anything.
I wasn't wrong.
But I did have a blast playing with stuff, and stretching myself to try new things.

LOL about the CB... yes.. you had to not mind all the chatter. It was a novelty that quickly wore off hubby I'm happy to say. The only time we used it was when we were with our friends going on a trip... (this was before cell phones) All the guys had them in their cars... Ahh the memories! lol
Anyway.. I found a cute youtube for your Itsy Bitzy Teeny Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini... I think everyone will enjoy the "girl in the bikini" (winks)

"Spread Your Wings" performed by Queen, from News of the World, written by John Deacon
Sammy was low
Just watching the show
Over and over again
Knew it was time
He'd made up his mind
To leave his dead life behind
His boss said to him
"Boy you'd better begin
To get those crazy notions right out of your head
Sammy who do you think that you are?
You should've been sweeping up the Emerald Bar"
That is wonderful Jason.. goes great with the song.. I remember Queen.. one of my favorite bands from way back when... (not telling how far) Thank you for sharing!
Okay, I lied, one more today. Mostly because I am bored and waiting on a render to finish...
"Deliverance"
Inspiration from the song performed by the Mission (or the Mission UK, depending where you are), from Carved in Sand, written by Wayne Hussey, Simon Hinkler, Mick Brown, and Craig Adams.
"Surrender to the wisdom of age and the spirits of time
Remember our souls entwined for eternity
And the healing hand of the fairy queen
Will come to all who have faith in her
And the apple tree will bear its fruit
In the gardens of Avalon
Forever and again"
Hubby would love that song Jason.. He likes that style of music... I'm more of a big band gal... lol. I'm gonna see if he's heard it before... btw.. the render is beautiful!!! Thanks for sharing.
