This is cool, but in Opera at least, the wishlist items are very wide so that there's only two items per row. The boxes are mostly empty. They don't need to be that big.

I'm not sure what you mean. Can you send a screenshot?

The default Daz wishlist has only 2 items per row at smaller resolutions. There is nothing we changed there. Is that what you mean?

No. On a regular screen 1920x1080, I now only have 2 items per row in my wishlist instead of 3. Each item takes up half the width of the screen. It's kinda ridiculous.

That's all I ever got was 2 per row.  I have a 22" monitor with good resolution, and still only 2 per row.

You're going to love the 4 per row then! :)

Does it go back to 3 if you disable the wishlist notification feature? It's one of those things that I cannot reproduce. On low resolution it's 2 items per row, on HD resolution (the one you mentioned) it's 3 items per row for me, provided that the browser is running in a maximized window.

As far back as I can remember (Chrome, 1080) I'vehad the ridiculous 2 column wishlist page regardless of any addons.

This was actually easier to do than I thought it would be. I sent @Overdrawn this feature to take a look at. I can't actually test on an HD monitor during the holidays, so I hope he has access to a normal resolution monitor to see how it looks with up to 4 columns. 4 columns were okay even on my lowres "holiday-monitor", so lowres looks fine, I'm guessing it looks okay in highres, too.

The feature will allow you to set the wishlist page to display 2, 3 or 4 columns, regardless of the screen resolution.

Does my 48" 1080p display count as "holiday monitor" these days? I'm not really sure what the standard is anymore.

Sorry, by "holiday monitor", I meant the monitor I use during the holidays. At home, I have a normal HD monitor, but I'm at my parents' for the holidays, with a slightly smaller monitor, so I'm a little limited when it comes to seeing what it looks like on normal monitors.

  • Version v2.0.4 is up at the Chrome site and in the queue at Opera & Firefox.

    Changes include:

    • @Ati's wishlist grid option: 2, 3, or 4 product wide grid options
    • Fixes the "View in Product Library" button on non-bundle products (it'd gone missing during the v2 upgrade)

    Enjoy, and happy shopping!

Switching to Chrome over Safari right now, so of course I had to bite on getting the extension. Can't wait to really start using it.

The "total spent & value owned" isn't working for me ATM... but then again, that's probably one of those things where ignorance is bliss, haha!

ETA: I got it to work, and.... OH WOW. Well, for as much as I actually spent in relation to what my total value is, I think I'm doing pretty well. Not anything alarming just yet (even though I've been shopping since 2011), but it does put things into perspective. :O

Would it be possible to have an option to see only items I purchased, which would be a reverse of hide already purchased items?  Sometimes I want to see what else I already have by the same vendor.

Well, the jury is out on that.  Kind of small in 4 column mode.  But maybe I can get used to it.  We'll see.  Cool that you can do that, though.

I'm not in the PC+ right now, but a thought that maybe others who are might like...show the PC+ and DO icons with the wishlist items.  And when I was in the PC+, I would have appreciated the ability to show only DO (not PC+)...it was a pain picking out the items for use with the coupon.  Just a thought.  Don't mean to put more on your to do list that you already have.

    Dana

  • @DanaTA have you tried the coupon filter links? Those should be visible on the wishlist also.

Alas, as I said, I haven't been in the PC+ for quite a while now.   sad  I hope to start getting some business at my site and maybe I can rejoin someday.  That startup fee is tough, though.

It was mostly a joke to ask what regular sizes were these days xD

So I have the Chrome version, but no wishlistify button that people seem to be talking about. I tried going to my wishlist page and clicking Sync (whatever that does) but it errored out saying check my settings. Everything was set to the default and I doubled checked it, but still nothing. Am I doing something wrong?

4 view Wishlist is super useful for me, thanks!

I don't think you can buy anything below full hd these days (1920x1080), and then it's 4k monitors after this. At least in this part of the world, in Central Europe.

Wishlistify is a bookmarklet, originally made by Morgan: http://3dwishlist.com/bookmarklet I made a slight modification to it, so it works on filtered sales pages as well, but it's basically the same code as his: http://civilizationhunt.com/ds/wishlistifyplus.html

Pull the link on the page to the bookmark bar of the browser (click on it, pull to bar, release), then when you are on a category page, click this bookmark.

That is for the email notifications of wishlisted items going on sale. You can read about that feature in more detail in this comment: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/1892921/#Comment_1892921

What browser (and version of the browser) are you using?

Firefox prevented it from running, starting in version 52. A modification has already been submitted to the Mozilla store to make it work again, but it's Christmas-time, and the people there seem to be slower than usual in rolling it out. Will come out at some point.

In other browsers, it should be working fine.

    Total Value: $31,617.61
    Total Spent: $3,857.66

    Chrome, 2.0.4, displaying fine.

I have however noticed that when I have the wishlist/notify me box checked (or whatever else came new with 2.0) Chrome crashes every day or so - new tabs will just open grey with a x and refuse to load any pages til I restart it. Happened every day until I turned the features off then it stopped. Reenabled some yesterday and it happened again just now.

Does it also do this when you have that feature enabled, but disable auto syncing? (Trying to zone in on which part might be causing this.)

Yup. I've never signed up for the notifications (I spend enough time on here already following all these threads xD) I'm testing with only totals spent (which always worked) and wishlist columns enabled for now, trying to narrow it down. Will report back once I figure out which option is doing it on me.

  • @jakiblue try toggling it on and then back off.

@lx what version of Chrome? Did your also use @Ati's earlier TamperMonkey based scripts? It's possible that the migration coffee (which moves preferences from those scripts to the extension) are continuing to try over and over and then crashing...maybe.

Never used Ati's previous scripts, only other extension on this browser is adblock plus (which has been there since it was installed so unlikely to be the cause.) I have no idea what is causing it either so will test further and see if I can get some more information to go with.

I have AdBlock, too, although it is turned off on the Daz site. This is one of the rare sites where I actually want to see the ads. :) So I'm pretty sure that does not interfere with anything. The main difference I already see is that I never had it run for a long period of time without any signup data entered. WITH data entered I haven't closed the browser now for 4 days.

Has anyone else noticed that the current price of a product sometimes doesn't match up with the current price on the price history graph?

I was checking out a few of Stonemason's products, and noticed several of his products seem to be listed incorrectly.

Is this a known bug, or am I reading it wrong?  I am running Chrome on a PC.

The price history doesn't show the current price, it shows the lowest price for that day. Today, the lowest price for the Sci Fi Kit for example was still 22.17 in the morning, so that price is shown. If the price stays as it is, then the bigger price will be shown for tomorrow's date.

Thank you SO MUCH for including an Opera version! This looks like it's going to be incredibly useful.

and just in case you're like me and thought wishlistify wasn't working...it adds a little checkbox at the top of the page that you click and it then shows all the items you have on your wishlist.

Yeah took me a while to work that out LOL
