I wish there was a way to filter the store for a certain perecentage range off.

For example show all items 65-66% off. That way I could see eveything in mega fast grab at once without having to click on each vendor.

Either that or a way to exclude PC+ items from searches.

Here's what I do. This requires that I wishlist the items I want.

I go to my wishlist. Sort by % off. Click "Hide PC+ items", and there's a start. Then I check what else I can put in the cart to make the discounts even bigger. But during the current sale, this lists the megafastgrab items nicely. Of course, they need to be in the wishlist to start with.

Here's something else you can do, to do the same thing for the entire store:

    Start here: https://www.daz3d.com/shop/#filter_platClub=0&filtered=1

And sort by % off. Done. :)

Today I was thinking it would be nice if I could see my favorite vendor/products— by products _used_. Based on what we’ve listed in gallery postings... but so few people post what they use that even if this was possible I’m not sure it would be worth it.

Almost 50,000 images of the ~111,000 total in the gallery have products listed, so it is a pretty good number.

I'm sorry Ati, I spaced on that being on the WL page. Is there any chance of getting that link on the main store page as well? The PlatClub link removes the PC+ items, but it also removes the NEW DOs as well which are eligible for the PlatClub coupon, and which are sometimes among the best discounted items. Thank you.

Request noted. :) For now, you can start here: https://www.daz3d.com/shop/#filter_platClub=0&filtered=1 and add any vendors you would like to filter for. This will not list the PC+ items.

    Competition time! :)

@Overdrawn and I have been discussing the idea of a render competition for some time. Now that my favorite sale of the year is here, we decided to go ahead with it. Head over to the competition thread for more details:
    https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/204686/pc-and-render-your-cart-competition

We’ll see how it goes. We may have more in the future if you guys like it. :)

Is there a way to filter out DAZ original, PC Club and RDNA items at the same time, and leave everything else? I tried variations on something like this, but it doesn't work, I'm only able to filter out PC+ items so I'm obviously doing something wrong.

I don't think there is, other than adding every other PA that you DO want to see to the filter.

Is it possible to add a button which moves all your wishlist items at once into your cart? I find I'm often doing that manually just to see if any discounts get triggered that I'm not aware of. And then I manually juggle things until I figure out what the trigger item is, I'm sure all the regulars do this. If I could throw everything in the cart at once it would greatly help.

You can only add one item to the cart at a time. If you have a cart of 50ish or more items, then adding just that one item becomes painfully slow. While technically it would be possible to add all of your wishlist items in a loop with a click of a single button... most of us have wishlists of over a thousand items. That would take days maybe to add.

IS that true,  most have over 1000 items in the wishlist? how the heck do any of you have time to render?  I've only been shopping here 2 years, the first 1.5 years I maybe had a 100-300 items at most in the wishlist at once, and I thought that was a lot, but now after almost 2 years of buying and building a library of assets and tools, I typically keep 50 items or so in the wishlist. So its a little too much to put in the cart manually, although I do it, but not so much that a script or loop would be too slow for me. Anyway, it would be useful for "normal" people like myself I think. Obviously the addicts are another story.

Personally I have 148 items in my Wishlist and kind of think it's too much. Almost every time I go through it I delete something I figure I will probably never buy. After V8 came out I deleted almost every item for Genesis 3 and was down to only 30 or 40 items.

That said: I don't really feel a need to add all of my wishlist to the cart at any time. It's already buggy enough!

I've never had more than 450 at any given time. However, I use the Wishlist for multiple reasons. I frequently add new releases I like, but can't afford at the time of release. But I also use it to "bookmark" items I might want/need in the future. If I like a texture I can pick up for free or real cheap, but don't have the product it's created for, I'll get the texture and Wishlist the main product. Then when looking at a sales page, that item will show with the yellow heart, and remind me. I may even buy it, depending on what it is and how much I really want it.

It also helps to narrow down my choices, using the Daz Deals "Only show Wishlist filter", when there are a lot of pages to a sale. I can easily decide if any wishlisted items meet my criteria. Most of the time, if there are no wishlisted items for a specific promo, I shut the page and save myself the time of browsing through tens of pages, (set to 120 per page, too!)

And I do cull the list from time to time, when I realize an item on the list no longer fits a possible need.

I don't know about a button, but this url seems to work for me: https://www.daz3d.com/Shop/#daz-originals=0&filter_platClub=0&filtered=1

Try it, and if it works for you, you can add it to your bookmarks. That's what I did.

When I looked at the emails this morning I saw https://www.daz3d.com/tara-2-hd-for-victoria-7-victoria-8 was discounted 73% or something similar. Since it has been in my wishlist quite a while I had it in the cart as soon as I possibly could. Then I figured "What the heck" and added https://www.daz3d.com/sci-fi-corridor-b from the Debut items and the price for Tara 2 went down even more. End result I got it for $5.63, a discount of just over 80%. Obviously it was a glitch because Tara 2 is back up to $13.03 now at a discount of 55%.

So if anyone is wondering if this extension is worth it... Yes. Yes it is.

Ati, does it need another nudge? I've received the "new promo" email, but haven't received a "wishlist items on sale" or the "best prices" one as yet.

When there's a huge number of items changing price, it takes a bit longer for all the emails to be composed. But as far as I can tell, everything has been sent by now.

An option to remove/hide this irritating new "Optional License Add-Ons" box would be cool. I would imagine it's only relevant to a small fraction of users and it's a bit ugly.

  • The WishList email keeps including items I've already purchased or have removed from the list. Is there a way to fix that? As in refresh my list...

Sure. Go to your Daz wishlist page, and click the "Sync Wishlist" button:

You can even have it sync automatically every time you add to it, or delete from it. Go to the Options page of the plugin (click its icon in the browser bar), then "E-mail notification" up in the top, and make sure the "Allow automatic update" checkbox is checked:

I guess the possibility of doing this for the Edge browser has been abandoned?  Haven't heard anythign about it for months.

@Overdrawn will give you a better answer. The last I heard was that he filed an application with MS to be an accepted developer for the store, and it is still in progress.

There actually is an Edge version in our private repository, so it's mostly a matter of paperwork, which seems to be real slow.

    Nothing like beaurocracy!   Thanks!

Works fine for me. Please make sure the "Price history" option is checked. Uncheck and re-check just to make sure.

I figured out that for some reason it doesn't show up when I use VPN. Disablig VPN and I see it, which is strange because I alwasy use VPN and its never been a problem before now.
