I just found this great browser add-on ... Works great so far ....
One question: Is there a way to sort by sku? Would be great to be able to sort all these "new" items that are only "new" to he PC+ back to where they belong ...
I'm getting a slew of emails where the product isn't at the price shown in the email and there's no evidence in the product's price history that they've been at that price recently either Case in point: The Billiard Table is not $7.98, it's not even on sale. The lowest price it's been at is $8.61 back in the middle of Nov. I can't see anything that would have triggered all those emails yesterday. Has there been a glitch in the store front recently or something? I certainly hope it's not Buy New Product Get Special Discount deals that are causing it. Because I didn't sign up to spend $10-15 extra in order to get the special price. I enter my drop-everything-and-go-buy-this-product-right-now price. Meaning if I put $8 in, I expect to spend $8 or less, not $18-20.
Was it only yesterday? If so, there was a bigger glitch in the Daz store, effecting a huge number of items. Processing the price changes of that glitch took a lot more time than the glitch itself lasted so I manually cancelled it, and those prices were not recorded in the price history. The prices themselves were true at the time, but only lasted a little while. There isn't, but it would not achieve what you would like it to achieve. Products are not necessarily released in order of SKU. At the time of their release, some products have already been in the store for weeks, even months in some cases, already having an SKU. Thus, newly released items may have an SKU way lower than items released a few weeks ago.
I know this might not be a 100% solution, but nevertheless ... I would really like this feature.
For me it is not so important to see if this item was 4 weeks earlier in the store than that one ... for this kind of sorting I use "New Arrivals". But for me it would be very interesting to see if this item was in the pipeline 2 years before that one ... and that seems to be the case with these items "new to PC+" ...
... so if it is possible, I think it would be a nice addition to those sorting options ...
As far as I can see, most "new to PC+" items are PA items that already were in the store and have been bought by DAZ. I certainly already owned more than a few of them.
"Why am I receiving new sale notifications when nothing changed?" you may ask.
Because even though you may not spot it immediately, the banners did change slightly.

+1 to suffering by SKU. Daz even ran a same using SKU numbers earlier this year. It's not a direct match for age though as some older products got added to the store later (RuntimeDNA stuff). It is interesting data though. :)
I am absolutely terrible at emails. My ex-boss would walk to my desk, put some printouts in front of me and say, read these because I no you don't do emails. My husband is great at emails (he worked for the same company so I got the low down over dinner) and I am wondering if I can use his to sign up or do I have to use the one I used for Daz?
Edit: Also is there a way to indicate what you are looking for and would buy in a heartbeat if it was released? Eg: dogs, puppies, graveyards, new Christmas releases? I know it's a weird mix and it gets weirder but I write books and do trailers for various genres.
Edit: Tonight was the starw that broke the camel's back. Had problems downloading (DIM), and decided I am quitting Daz in January when my PC Memmbership expires. If I wasn't leaving, I would certainly sign up for your browser in a heartbeat.
You can use his e-mail address, but then he'll have to tell you when there's something going on.
Not for new releases. For already existing releases, you can use your entire wishlist, that's the easiest. You can set a discount percentage, and if anything from your wishlist goes on sale with a bigger discount, you'll get an e-mail. You can also set notifications for individual items, with individual prices. For example, you want the Michael 8 pro bundle, but only when it goes below $35. In this case, you will (or your husband) get an e-mail when the price of that particular bundle drops below $35.
There are two things you can do:
1, there's a 50% discount on PC+ membership now, so you can renew, and not have to quit for another year! :)
2, set up the notifications, and even though you quit, still know when there's a good deal to be made, that might bring you back.
Any idea how long deleted gallery images stay active on product pages? Asking because I deleted one of my images due to poor lighting, and added another. But the deleted gallery image is unfortunately still linked to several products, including Stonemason's Diorama bases. The deleted image is #482281 of a female centaur and named "Ilideus the Centauress." The replacement image is also named the same.
If you can prevent deleted gallery items from appearing in the product pages, that would be awesome!
They are rechecked from time to time, but if you let me know, I can delete them sooner, like I did just now. :) Thanks for letting me know.

Just thought of something related to deleted gallery images: It would be nice to be able to replace an image in my gallery rather than resorting to deleting it. There could be some constraints such as "only allow an image to be replaced if there are no comments or likes." That way, all the tags/products/description etc. wouldn't need to be added again.
That's up to Daz, we have no control of the actual gallery, we just make a link to the images there.

Let's do that. I've decided not to buy the pc+ 50% off offer but for anyone new you cannot go wrong with that buy. You'll get hundreds worth of dollars of stuff for free - it pays for itself fivefold or more, so go for it. I also will be buying some stuff for December so if you can benefit from that in commission I say let's go for it. I plan to use hubby's email so what's the next step PM you the email or go to what link.
My PC+ membership expires 01-15-2018 and I am not done buying but suspect most sales will come from new releases that fit my buying profile (which Daz should work on accessing for its heavy hitters.
Go to the first post in this thread (direct link: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/106296/announcing-daz-deals-browser-add-on/p1 ) and install the addon for your browser. When that is done, go to your wishlist on the Daz site (https://www.daz3d.com/wishlist ) and click on the "Get Email Notifications" link. This takes you to the options page. Click on "Need a passcode? Signup!" and follow the instructions. Enter a nice value in the "Notification above %" field. This is the base discount (without any stacking) that will trigger the notification. This depends on where your sweet spot is. Some people have it set up for basically any discount, I have mine set up for 59%, which means I get notifications for my items that are discounted at least 60%. This includes most flash and blink sales, as well as fastgrab. When you have entered the email address and the passcode here, my suggestion is to check the "Allow automatic update" checkbox here, and then click "save." This ensures that whatever changes you make to your wishlist will be reflected in your notifications. Ie: when you add to it, you'll get notifications of the newly added items, when you buy something, or remove something from it, you will no longer get notifications for those.
Another thing you can do, once you have this all set up, is to go to an item's product page that you are interested in, and just below the price history, you can enter an individual notification for that item alone. This is a one-time notification, if the base price (without any stacking) drops below the given price, you will get a one-time notification about it, and then this notification will be removed. For example, you can set up notifications for pro bundles, when they go below $30. This is just an example, you can use it for any product in the store.
That first part took 1 second to open in second window clicked add and done.
How often will I need that passcode? Per email you send? Also what does checking Total Spent & Total Value Owned actually do. It seems to just open my orders link to the invoices no differently than before, so I must be missing the point because I'm sure there must be one.

That only needs to be set up once. Once you enter it into the browser and save it, the browser will remember it for you.

And make sure your husband doesn't see it. ;) This option is turned off by default. To turn it on, you have to check the checkbox for it on the options page.
LOL. Thanks. Works well on my PC He uses Safari so I showed him all the features and now we are trying to get it on his ipad. After he signed into chrome it said added but it's not showing. Tried it on his phone after signing in to chrome same reult as ipad.
You know, now that I think about it, that part has never worked for me. And I've had the checkbox checked for a long while.
I am admittedly a little scared to see what the total would be...

Not sure if this has been suggested before, would it be possible to add a check-box for "Exclude PC+" or "Hide PC+"
This would make it easier to find items for the $6 off DO monthly coupon, when "Daz Originals" is selected as the artist. Unless, of course, there is a way to achieve this already...

It worked for me. Shows the full price value , then the current value then what you spent. I went to orders and it populated in top right corner .
I am not sure if it works on an ipad. @Overdrawn, does it? Anyone, who managed to get it to work on an ipad?
Uncheck that option, and re-check it again. That should fix it, and let you see the totals on the Orders page.

I'm not able to on my smartphone, but I can try on my Android tablet later to see if it works there or not. Everything else seems to work, though.
