Using Chrome. Am on V2.2.0 The multiple wishlist is checked, but I'm not seeing any of the changes on the wishlist page as yet. I've added a comment to one of the items and saved comment, but nothing else is happening. Just confirming that I'm not seeing it in Chrome.
Sorry folks...that was me. The bug fix v2.2.1 release is queued up at Chrome, Firefox, and Opera. They're likely to "ship" in that order. Many apologies for the bugs.
...never ship on Friday, they say. :-/
Bugs happen... The important thing is it is now "really, most sincerely dead".
Still not quite there, but closer. :) Hold on... :)
All seems well to me, but we're still making sure everything's in order. Please do post here if you have issues and we'll address them between egg nogs. ;) The Multiple Wishlists / tags feature is particularly handy--if you've not tried it yet.
Enjoy!
Yeah, I'm not sure what I was looking at yesterday... It all seems to work fine. Please let us know if you have any problems. And if you don't have any problems, I'd like a few people to confirm that the new features are working properly. Thanks!
I'm at 2.2.1 in Firefox, I see my +label on the store page. I see all labels on the specific product page. But I can't find the label filter sort dropdown box on the Wishlist.
Thank you. Ah, that's what I saw yesterday. It works fine in Chrome, but Firefox is giving it a hard time.
Fix on the way for Firefox, too.
Thanks. I'll watch for your announcement of the fix being available.
I hate to appear dense, but what does this mean? I haven't enabled e-mails since I get too many already!
Syncing only works with e-mail enabled?
Sounds like a great add-on-- I probably just haven't set it up correctly.
Adivce for the technically challenged most welcome. : )
FF version 57.0.2
It has lots of features that can be used without using the e-mail notifications. Look through the options page (click on the icon in the browser) to get an idea of what's available. And there are even more features than that. I suggest you glimpse through this thread as well. The e-mail notifications are optional, but anyone receiving them can tell you that they are worth more than most of the other e-mails you are receiving already. :) Worth as in saving lots of money.
Wishlist syncing to our notification server only works when you have wishlist notifications enabled, otherwise you don't need to sync it. If you don't want to get any notifications about when your wishlisted items go on sale, then there's no need to send us your wishlist.
Love it! Works great. Had to refresh my browser, but then everything worked like a charm. I'm using Chrome.
Thanks for reply. Embarrassing I forgot to insert screenshot of the error message. : 0 ! (That's what happens when up in early AM hours backing up/updating annoying iOS devices)
So if I understand correctly, add-on will give price history, gallery, forum references, documentation, etc. Will get a mail if a product gets to a price I set. e.g.. Product 'A' costs $29.95 - the lowest price was $14.95 in (month) - e-mail me if $14.95 again, (or price I set) etc.
Pretty nifty!
All of this, plus you can filter to only see the items that the two PC+ coupons can be used for; sort the items by discount; filter each sale or category to only show your wishlisted items; show your owned items; hide items that you don't want to accidentally buy; change the wishlist display to 2, 3 or 4 columns; hide PC+ items in the wishlist; see what the total value of your purchases it; see how much you've spent; have "multiple" wishlists; restore your wishlist in case something happens to it; get an email when a flash sale, or blink sale, or other sale starts; get notification when your wishlisted items go on a big sale; get the list of newly added fastgrab items; get the top items with the best discount of the day; see what discount you get in the cart; see what items you already have from a bundle; and I'm sure I missed many more features.
We're slowly getting to the point where a guide is needed just to list all the extra features. :)
One issue I've been having for the last month or so in Firefox is a delay in displaying the store page. I get a yellow banner on the top of the page blaming the Daz Deals add on for the issue. I captured this screenshot a few days ago. Any suggestions?
I use Chrome, which doesn't have such issues, so this is only going to be a guess for now. Try disabling the "Filter for wishlisted and owned items + "% off" sort filter" feature and/or if you have the software filter on (I'm only interested in... DS, Poser, Byrce, ...), then have all of the software be checked so it doesn't filter anything out.
OK, I checked all of the software categories. (I had some unchecked.). I don't want to disable the wishlist, owned and %off. So I'll keep an eye out to see if just checking all the software is good enough. Maybe switching to Chrome is a better alternative for several reasons. Firefox is annoying me quite a bit lately since their big update.
I done spent $25 but the DAZ Deal plugins is excellent plugin. Thanks!
I'm on chrome and am getting this also, no dropdown even though the I have labled the items
I'm on Firefox 57 and 2.2.1, and the label filter sort dropdown box appears intermittently.
I removed the daz deals browser then re added it and now everything is working as it should.
Make sure you click the big blue "Update wishlist labels" button at the bottom of the page. Then reload the wishlist page.
Good to hear! :) Thank you for the feedback.
For me, after I do that, I need to shut down and reopen Firefox to get the dropdown back (for that session).
Firefox is problematic with this, a new release will address this issue.
Do you happen to have the "Items Per Page" drop down set to "All"? And were you on the main https://www.daz3d.com/shop/ page per chance? That combination would make anything slow...and Firefox will likely blame an extension before it'll blame the page. I'll try and add some code to deal with that scenario...but my guess is that's the cause.
Thanks for reporting it! :)
Wow, this is a long thread. Sorry I can't read through it all. But does the existence of this addon mean Daz is fine with people making tools to scour the site checking for sales?
There are even older projects than this add-on that have done screen scraping and the like, but you'd need to consult with Daz and/or read their Terms of Service, etc.
Okay, I'll wait. Love the add-on otherwise:-)
