Sadly Apple doesn't allow apps to have their own extension models. Here's a bit more on the topic from Mozilla: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-ons-firefox-ios
Essentially, we'd have to create an iOS only App extension...but that's a whole new world and would come with a whole new set of limitations. :-/ Sorry...Sort by % OFF is unstable, I mean for example
Sort by %OFF + Only show wishlist
Day prices (as you probably know) jump around a good bit. If our server hasn't yet caught up with the latest pricing, the ordering will be off. There's no way that we've found yet to do the ordering from completely client-side data, so for now (as you've found) there are times when things are out of sync. Sorry about that.
The full price of the items is heavily cached to save on your bandwidth. Newly added items will show up at the top of the list for a few hours even if their discount is smaller. Once the cache clears (this is different from the browser cache), the sorting becomes "stable" as you put it, even with new items.
Hmmm... an example, the 6 first items were added to my wishlist in 2017 or January 2018 for the orc outfit.
I use 2 computers (Home and Work) both get the same 2 first rows.
Better than nothing and not being able to hide PC items when doing a low to high list. I still have made better purchases with the add-on. Unfortunately while saving money and going for the cheap stuff I do seem to be buying more often. My pile of stuff is bigger than it would have been and yet my wallet did get lighter all the same.
There is a "Hide PC+ items" look now. Next to the coupon filter links.
It isn't based on your actions with the products, but on the speed of which all the systems involved learn about the price/sale changes made by Daz.
What browser are you using, and what settings are active in the addon? I am not able to reproduce this.
Project Black Bird is at the first positions since October 2017... the speed of which all the systems involved learn about the price/sale changes is very long.
It's not a cache issue because I use 2 computers and I also tried Incognito mode, it's always these 6 items.
I use Google Chrome, the profile is synced with my Google account.
Okay, I see what's going on. This is a Poser-only item, and by default, you are hiding Poser-only items. The wishlist-only checkbox makes it visible because you have it wishlisted, but.. yeah, it should either not be shown at all, or... haha, tricky situation when you wishlist items that you would normally not even want to see.
Okay , thank you very much ! This issue is gone now.
The DAZ Deals plug in has completely spoiled me!
When I go shopping at other websites (completely unrelated to 3D), I really miss it! I can't hide things and sort my wishlist and they expect me to remember what I bought! The horrors!
Thank you so much for this plugin!
I wish amazon had the price history add on.
That's what CamelCamelCamel is for! :)
Thank you for answering my previous questions. I have an issue (maybe this is already in the thread somewhere) where clicking on a category after searching the store to "Show All" does nothing. Nothing happens at all when I click on that button. Search for anything, look at the resulting categories below, then pick one and over on the right click on "Show all." Nothing. Is this a setting somewhere or just a glitch?
Are there results at the top before clocking "Show All"?
This has been solved in another thread: close the banner on the top of the page, and it will work fine. This is a general issue, not an issue with the add-on.
Would it be possible to add a display of the date range an item will have the green "New" status on the product page?
Yes and no. Some items (mostly bundles) do not show their release information in their readmes. Most do. I have a userscript that displays this info: http://www.civilizationhunt.com/ds/ and it's the one called "Release date for new items."
This script does two things:
New items are "new" for 60 days and have the initial discount in the first 14 days. From this, you can see when an item will leave its new state and when its intro discount will expire.
GDPR. From May 25, 2018, Daz's official affiliate program provider (which we use) will introduce a mandatory change: EU customers will have to give consent to sales tracking when using affiliate links. This is a legal obligation and is beyond our control. According to their announcement, this consent will be valid for 13 months, so you only have to give this once a year. Don't panic if one day, you will not be directly taken to Daz when clicking on our affiliate link, but will be asked to give consent. This is normal and is required by the new European GDPR law.
When signing up to our notifications, you already gave us consent to use your e-mail address for the purposes of the notifications; and since we do not share your data with any third parties (not even any type of analytics), no further action will be required. An extended data protection policy can be found at the bottom of this page: https://www.civilizationhunt.com/ds/ including our data protection registration number, and the contact information of our Internet Service Provider.
I like to find "free" products by showing the only owned items. It is like finding "free" items because I do not have to pay for the "new" items I found (and actually forgot that I had gotten earlier)!
I'll be doing some big changes to the email notifications later today. Nothing will work differently, they are changes to improve stability. Unfortunately, with a complex system like this, testing is really hard.
Apologies in advance, in case you get a few notifications that are not quite right.
I wish amazon had an add on like this. I want to hide all the kindle books I already got so I am not tempted to keep buying the same book over and over again. What I really want is to see all the books I do not own within a certain price range or free.
love your add on and also wish there was an iOS version.
No flood of emails at the changeover. Now let's wait and see what happens when a sale comes along...
Is it possible to create a filter for the price (min-max)? For example, I only want to see products that cost between $1 and $10.
You can sort the store (or a category page) by price, and stop when you reach the $10 range.
I love this add on! Thank you so much for making and maintaining it. :)
I do have a question. I have a very large product library. When I try to access it, the add on locks up the browser no matter how long I let it sit. Clicking a product to view the download files or other info does nothing. If I disable this add on, the product library works fine. Is there a way to use my library with the add on?
What page are you trying to load? This one? https://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/files
This is one of the very few pages where we don't insert any new features, so other than the occasional wishlist sync in the background (which -- if automatic sync is turned on -- can happen from any of the pages when your wishlisted or owned items change), nothing should hold this page back from loading.
