Yep. That's the page. It's very weird. This add on is the only one I have installed for Chrome. With it enabled, I can't select anything on that page, but all other pages work fine. Disable the add on, and the page loads without issue. Load the page in Safari (where I don't have the add on at all), the page loads without issues.
I'll keep trying to figure it out. Thank you for the reply. :)
Hmm, that's strange. I can't try it under the same exact circumstances because I probably don't have that many products. Could you help us out a bit here? Try disabling certain features of the addon, only one at a time, and see if there is a specific one that is causing the issue.
I don't know what been changed since last month when I used the addon to find my items I wanted but it does not seem to sort out the items like it was. I see the address bar with the filters being applied but nothing is removed from the list.
I am using windows 7 professional and chrome browser Version 67.0.3396.62 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Try clicking the reload button of the browser after choosing the coupon filter.
Thanks I was just coming back to edit my post saying the same thing you suggested
Lately, there seems to be a lot more caching going on in the entire store. (In general, not addon related.) I noticed this when even the new items did not show up in the store without a second reload.
A heads-up: we are having some technical issues at the moment. Several things working against the way we normally do things. The issues are being addressed at multiple levels, but it will take several days to sort everything out.
In the meantime, you may notice that occasionally, the price history doesn't load. Refreshing the page should solve the issue. This is only a short-term workaround; I expect to be back to how we were, but it will take several days. Please bear with us. Thank you.
Sorry to bring up a new problem:
Since i installed the Daz Deals Browser Add-on on my Waterfox 54.0.1 - that is a true 64 bit clone of Firefox (www.waterfoxproject.org)
i am no longer able to open the add-ons maintenace page. When i try to do that, the browser prompts 'loading' and nothing happens. One thread (out of 8) is running 100% and the browser freezes.
So i am no longer able to add or remove extensions nor configuring them. A new install of the browser does not fix the problem.
I can use my browser with the Daz Deals Browser Add-on what works as expected, but i cannot modify any of my add-ons or extensions.
Any suggestions? Is there any way to deactivate the Daz Deals Browser Add-on without opening the browser?
btw: i still use Waterfox 54.0.1 because newer versions have known issues with extensions since Mozilla made several changes to their extensions interface and Waterfox implemented them
so, for instance, add-block does not work any more, and i do not want to get rrd of it. With the older version 54.0.1 of Waterfox their are no extension problems.
o.k. since i installed the Daz Deals Browser Add-on OMG!
System: intel I7 4 cores/8 threads, Win 7 64 bit home
I still have the same version of Waterfox installed (although on a win 8.1), so I gave it a try. I was able to open the addons menu without a problem, so I'm assuming this is a different issue. I'll let @Overdrawn get back to you on this, he's the expert on packaging the extension itself.
Apologies if this has already been asked, but would it be possible to add a Wishlist button adjacent to the cart button on all the "Add Ons for This Product" instances on a page?
Thank you for your fast response, and sorry, sorry, sorry!
I just found out that this add-ons malfunction is a Mozilla Firefox/Waterfox failure that accidentally starts the same moment when i installed the Daz Deals Browser Add-on on my pc. Ifound the following information on the mozilla page:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1211616
where is pointed out that from now on this function only works in firefox safe mode
I'll check that information as soon as i have some time
But it looks like that this browser behaviour has nothing to do with your application, so sorry again for my alarm.
Thank you for the update.
My hooray was to fast :-(
Just did the following:
started waterfox in safe mode: add-ons page works. deactivate daz deals
close waterfox and restart it regular (not safe mode)
add-ons page opens immediately (with daz deals deactivated)
activate daz deals again
restart waterfox regular: add-ons page blocks
sigh
the problem persists....
remark:
it can have something to do with the sometimes 'mysterious' system security options in win 7 64bit home version. sometimes a security query does not come through and therefore applications fail.
for instance i am still not able to run the automatic update on thunderbird, i always have to install updates manually as administrator, what is boring
Is it only this addon, or does it do the same thing with any other addon as well?
It is only with this add-on, i have seveal installed add-ons, like video download helper, add-block and so on
Hi, Thanks for this addon it looks great. Is there a way to make the Daz Deals more readable? This is a screenshot from FireFox. I don't have particularly bad eyes, I found this almost impossible to read.
Thanks
By the way, see the attachment. Yeah, there is one you'll see what I mean if you missed it. Thanks agin.
Did you change your font settings anywhere? If so, reset it to default, and it should be fine. I just checked, and it shows as normal, readable text in Firefox.
A suggestion for a future up date: show date purchased for purchased items and/or have an checkbox option to show items purchased in the last 30 days. There is stuff in the Victoria salesthat I recently purchased; but finding it is proving to be a daunting task.
This could definitely be done on the product page.
This is trickier. I'll think about it. Three possible solutions come to mind, one of which is a no-go, the other two could work.
(What I miss is the ability to see how much I truly paid for an item. The only real price is in the confirmation email.)
OK, quick question.
I saw in another thread something about seeing a fully tally of your Daz purchases with this plugin. If this is so, where can I find this?
I'm looking at my product pages now, and it's only showing the individual order totals. I'm not seeing a spot that shows my 'running tally'. Firefox 54 BTW (I haven't updated since FF broke some stuff which I had to fix manually a coule of months back, will probably update eventually though).
You can see that on your "Orders" page: https://www.daz3d.com/sales/order/history
However, since this can be a bit shocking, this feature is turned off by default. To enable it, go to the options page of the addon by clicking on its icon in the browser, and make sure that the "Total Spent & Total Value Owned" feature is checked.
It's not there for me. I just see the individual order totals, not a grand tally. And I do hae the 'Total Spent & Total Value Owned" box checked under Daz Deals preferences.
Up here:

I'm seeing nothing above the Items 1 to 10 of xxx, just the task bar.
you have almost 4 times as many pages than I do. You've beeen a busy shopper!
I just checked for a Daz Deals update, but Firefox didn't find one. I'm using 2.3.0
Also updated to Firefox 60.0.2 just now, didn't help.
OK, I fixed it. I toggled the Daz Deals option off, visited the Orders page, then toggled the option on again, and visited my orders page again. I can see it now.
I've actually spent less than I thought I had, but it's still a significant chunk of change. Being somewhat patient for better deals (with exceptions) seems to have helped. Dividing total value (not current value) by what I've spent works out to about 90% off...
There's no doubt that freebies are inflating that figure, but in this comparison absolutely freebies should be included in the total value owned. I'm sure that all of those recent 'buy this Pro 8 Bundle, get this stuff for free' sales helped a lot too!
That's the original idea behind the addon. To help you spot those better deals. :) And it really does help. I sometimes jump on a sale because an item has never been that cheap before; or wait for a better deal because I see that it has.
OK, new question.
There's text button at the top of my product/sales pages that says 'Hide PC+ items'. Clicking on this 'greys out' the button, but doesn't hide the PC+ items.
Is this button part of the Daz Deals plugin? If so, I'd like to report that it's not working properly in the latest version of Firefox (and indeed hasn't worked for a bit).
I was just about to say the same thing, and I'm using Chrome. For me the button doesn't even grey out, I click "Hide PC+ Items" and nothing happens.
Yes, that's part of the addon, and unfortunately, this is a little bit beyond our control at this moment because of caching issues. To make it work, click on it (the URL changes), and then reload the page to get the filtered results.
Long story short but I had to reinstall my web browser plus the daz deal browser addons. Did the ability to remove PC items get removed? I am not seeing it.
