WHatever you did with the shader, it's pretty effective!
Thanks for including the product links. I would have never bought this product, as I thought that I would need the cyclorama (whatever that is). Are these just jpegs?
You've discovered some very nice NPR settings recently. I assume it is still a PSP filter. Great outline and texture on the character!
@UnifiedBrain a cyclorama is just a set of simple planes with images to give the impression of a scene or background.. probably not used much in Carrara but more in DS.
There are a number of "Plane Environments" sold at DAZ3D
Millenium Environment - https://www.daz3d.com/millennium-environment

Moonkin
Multiplane Cyclorama with freebie textures, note - needs shadow catcher
Thanks Bunyip, very helpful. I actually own the Millennium Environment, but never tried it (or was unsuccessful trying it, I don't remember).
Great colors and symmetry. This is darn near perfect.
Another very successful blending of elements. What is the critter?
I find I can get good results in Carrara with them, lighting is often an issue as shadows in the background plane often don't line up with the lighting from the front. I then use two lights, first light from the front illuminating the base and the background, the second light in the direction of the shadows illuminating the subject - also needs a shadow catcher. I replace the grass & trees with better ones from the library.
Thanks !
Critter is from TurboSquid - Moonkin, do a search for it. Was auto-rigged in Mixamo.

More great renders, Bunyip! And thanks for the comparison screenshots of the environments. Very interesting.
Thanks. UB was asking questions so I thought being able to see the different bases in Carrara might be helpful.
I especially like the art style on this one, nice!
Forgive my ignorance on this, I saw Wendy mention Mixamo too in another thread. Does the rigging for Mixamo carry over into Carrara? Also how much is Mixamo? I went to the site to look around, but I looks like to learn anything I'd need to sign up first, and before understanding what it is or what it can do and bring to the table to add to Carrara, I wanted to get some idea before I gave them my info so they could spam me :)
Thanks !
Mixamo is free to use for those who have an Adobe ID, so if you have logged into an Adobe website before and have a password & email address for Adobe you can log into the Mixamo site with that.
I find to get best results to use an FBX of the file I upload to Mixamo.
The Auto-rigging only works on humanoid figures. Best if figure is a T-pose.
When you get to download, specify FBX-Unity, Carrara will read that file. If you specify just FBX you will have problems.
Had a couple of results where the skeleton was seperated from the body, I opened those FBX files in Ultimate Unwrap 3D and saved them as an FBX 2012 file, they worked in Carrara after that.
