What are you experimenting with these days, Bunyip?
Thanks Phil & UB !!!
Workflow - am using Filter Forge, FotoSketcher, PhotoDonut, Dynamic Auto Painter, Topaz Adjust 5, Topaz Studio (mainly Impression & Simplify), PicToPainting (plugin for Paint Shop Pro). Pick 3 to 4 filters and apply them to the render, then open them in Paint Shop Pro, adjust them until I get a result that I like. Also got the HumbleBumble bundle and will add Painter 2019 to the workflow once I get good enough with it.
Me, too! Hope to get my machine back this week with the monitor losing feed from CPU solved...annoying that was.
Buny... I recognised the scene with the bear as I have that one, too. If you have time can you list your scenes when you post? I can't always ID them if you use a cool and better camera angle than the DS preview.
Keep posting!!! Silene
Thanks Silene, if there are any scenes that I have done so far that you are curious about let me know and I'll see if I remember which one's they are. Will add the scenes for those who are interested in the future !
that's wonderful great overlayed texture and pose and camera angle
love your spare style and sense of humour :)
be quick for a cheap Corel Painter 2019 and other goodies for post work (1 day 18 hours left)

Thanks - fun render that one !
Lady at Trearchi
https://www.daz3d.com/trearchi-folly
Warning - loaded the full scene and my Carrara stopped at 63.4% loaded. Has a couple of high density components, loaded the base elements a second time and had no problems loading (left the grass & buttercups out). Also replaced the trees due to a transperancy issue - will investigate further !
Another lady - shorter dress this time...
Used a background image instead of a scene.

Nice! Interesting texture, and very colorful. In your recent renders, you seem to be moving into more saturation and contrast, which to me usually looks more pleasing.
Thanks UB, am using Topaz Adjust now as my first step for post-work, lots of different effects to play with !

Another one while I'm on a roll....
Landscape - https://www.daz3d.com/the-venulcan-plains
Sky - https://www.daz3d.com/easy-environments-exoplanet-i
Note - The Venulcan Plains uses Iray settings for the sky
Can I make a suggestion on this latest one? If you lower the camera, it will have two benefits - the creature will be sillouhetted against the sky making the image easier to read at a glance, and it will make it look more imposing.
Thanks Phil, I didn't save that scene but if I redo it will do as you suggested !
Applied Phil's advice to Lorenzo going for a drive.

Very cool - and great camera angle!
Thanks Phil !
Cardinal & monk taking a stroll
P3DA_ArchardsOssuary - https://www.daz3d.com/predatron-s-fantasy-places
Is that Predatron's lo-res figures? The whole scene looks great!
Hello Phil, yes it's the lo-res figures. Thankfully those of us who compose the scenes have been blessed by people like yourself & Predatron plus all the others who have created the items that we can play with !!!!

I always thought the Cardinal was a strange choice for a low res figure. After all the big benefit of lo-res figures is that you can have lots of them in your scene, but there isn't often the need to have lots of Cardinals in a scene at once, unless you are modelling the choosing of a new Pope!
