Very cool - and the acid green sky gives it a really alien look.
Wow, Bunyip. You have been churning out amazing NPR renders. Keep up the great work.
I picked up a lot of Predatron's LowRez products during the PC sale. Should be joining the fun again soon.
Thanks Phil & Diomede !!!

Bunyip, you are producing at an amazing rate. We may have to retitle this "the Daz Product Showcase thread. :)
I Iike your new workflow, thanks for sharing. And, at least you are actually using your products. At the rate I'm going most of mine will never see the light of day. :(
I have a question for NPR and code experts.
In an Art Studio thread, Greg (algovincian) has been dazzling for a while now with his software-based approach to NPR drawing style. In a recent post, Headwax told him that it was a shame that he wasn't using Carrara, and Greg responded, "One of my early purchases was Carrara 8.5 Pro. At the time, I had just assumed that development was ongoing - didn't really occur to me that it may not be. It was also surprising to learn that Carrara had no native scripting built in."
What does it mean that Carrara has "no native scripting built in?"
Hello UB
There was a request to name the scenes being used which I am happy to help out with, there are lots of nice scenes that can be used. I also use Bryce terrains in some of my scenes. Am trying to use all of my products that I have bought - still a way to go yet.
As regards native scripting someone else will hopefully have an answer !
Daz Studio and Poser has the ability to do stuff when a script ( code ) is used to achieve it. Carrara doesn't have.
Some pretty cool stuff can be done by scripts... I remember one Poser Python script which would add snow to all the items in the scene you just setup.
mcasual has a load of cool DS scripts in the freebie board if you use DS.. would be good if Carrara could use scripts.
that's about all I know about it.

Note - Forest Grove uses a lot of instances so the scene looks a bit bare in Carrara - needs a bit of work to get a nice scene.

Note - very nice scene but took a long time to load the complete scene in Carrara

How come you never sign your renders?
Thanks.
When I first started doing renders I use to put a sig on them, but after a while I preferred the clean look of the render, have left the sig off since then.
