I like VWD a lot, but the ability to set Dforce parameters in surfaces and save them is a huge plus.

When Dforce is improved to function with hair, I doubt I'll touch VWD again.

Sadly....mine doesn't work. I get an error message about building kernels and then Daz crashes.

Did you allow it to building kernels, and then it crashed? Or does the message come up and then crash before you can give permission? That information could be important to tech support.

It starts to build then Daz Studio crashes...the build goes on...but it never really builds....so far I let it go 15 minutes with no results.

And you verified you have OpenCL1.2 installed?

Thank you so much...I updated my Intel and it is working fine now....as far as my Nvidia card...it doesn't play well with open CL...and I can't update my Nvidia card past 344.73.

You're welcome. I'm glad you got that sorted. (A shame you can't update your Nvidia card to work with it, too.)

  • I am having problem with the manual download.

Kept directing me to my product library and tell me a "Select a product to get started"

  • Anyone having any success getting dForce to work with figures which have geografts attached? In all my tests, the clothing simply won't pose along with the figure if there's a geograft, even if the clothing is fitted to a different figure. If it's colliding with a figure which has a geograft, it will refuse to follow the pose of the figure it's fitted to when running the simulation.

Thanks to jdavison67, there is now a workaround for this issue. If you want to use dForce on a figure with a geograft attached, just start the simulation while the Node Weight Brush Tool or the Geometry Editor Tool is selected.
