    Heh, that's one way to tackle that problem :D It's kind of a natural disadvantage of characters who appear later in a generations cycle that there will be way fewer clothing items containing specialized fits for them. :/

    Whatever characters may still come for Genesis 8, if they have more extreme bodyshapes, they will have it harder.

    You can use dForce to make clothing fit different body shapes fairly well, provided the shape isn't too extreme.  It wouldn't help many t-shirts work on Xenogirl, for example, but getting a suit of armor made for Gia 8 should work on a potential Rune 8.

    Oh yeah, that's true, dForce has been a real blessing in that regard (and many others ^^). yes

    Rune 7 remains one of DAZ's best characters imho, with a pretty unique build, recognizable face and pretty much the only freckled skin texture in, like, 3 generations (of DAZ characters, obviously). I always thought that she was popular since she did feature in quite a few promo pictures compared to other characters but maybe that was just me. I mean she is hard to fit into many clothing items due to her - admittedly huge - bosom and remains somewhat tailored to the 'Fantasy Warrior' brand of characters, so that's a problem when it comes to variety of uses but still - 'Fantasy Warrior' is hardly a small niche in 3D ^^

    C'mon, DAZ bring her back!

     

     

    I'm a big fan of Rune as well... one of the very best believably weathered (as opposed to aged) female skins to come along so far.  I'd love to see a new take on her, but given the creative drift that seems to go on at DAZ, I wonder if a new version would capture the same essense.

    Next member of the DAZ family will be Mugda 8.  She stands 5'8" if she's standing on her left foot, or 5' 4" if she's standing on the right.  WIth a complexion best described as cranberries in yogurt, she's the first DAZ base character to come with dentures as well as a special set of morphs for her 3 remaining natural teeth, and fibermesh hair for her back.  She'll be partnered with Mongo 8, who stands 7' 11" tall, weighs 613 lbs, has webbed feet and a skin texture best descrivbed as Peas Porridge in a pot, nine days old.  .

    I’m crossing my fingers and my toes hoping for Elijah 8. Of all the Gen 3 and 8 figures, he’s still my favorite. Maybe that’s because he reminds me of a lot of tall, lanky guys I actually know. Most DAZ charcters to me are so idealized, but Elijah just seems kind of normal to me. My second desire would be Bethany 8, but I know that ship has probably sailed.

    It's either that or they change things really up and it's a skinny, pale caucasian girl. Crazy, I know ;D

    Eva 8 is good but when they did these runway model type characters I wish they'd pick a country in Europe and make the theme and model looks based on that country or region of that country. Same with the characters of non-Caucasiod ancestry. It'd make their pro bundles much more interesting. To me the whole DAZ product cycle is pair some pretty face with 'sexualized fighting clothing' and that gets old so fast no matter what ethnicity or age or gender is chosen for the new character.

    So then well it's December and we know there is a likely 2nd African-American male still in the works if the fits others have listed are correct. That means there are 6 long months til Genesis 9. I guess maybe I should expect a Guy 8 Pro Bundle after all? And probably at least one, and maybe even two ethnic pairings. Maybe Indian suib-Continent, the Amazon Rainforest, Polynesian, or Aborigine?

    I haven't gotten Zelara yet, I think I would if we had a similar, quality male counterpart.

    I'm curious to see what figure they will release on Xmas day.

    In 2017, it was another female figure Sakura 8 after Charlotte 8 but there were male figures Darius 7 in 2016 and Leo 7 in 2015.

    I hope not! Owen is like 5’11” and Elijah was 6’5”. Owen, while fun, is more inline with the typical male model and less guy-next-door. Owen, to me, is almost like a Brooklyn hipster. He wants to be an actor/model, but will wait tables until he gets that job. Elijah was more like a guy who’s really pretty hot but doesn’t know it because he went through that awkward period when he grew too fast and was a foot taller than his peers.

    This is the best sales pitch I've seen in a long time, in my head it even read as one of those TV promos for a show.

    Nix makes me think of a pair of brother former baseball players or the former president. There were also a couple of former basketball players, but Nix 8 probably along the lines of Eva 8 or similar.

    In German and Scandinavian folklore Nix are water spirts of either gender (although they were mostly male in Scandinavian tales). They have various names, including Nix. Here is the Wiki page:

    Nix makes me think of Nux, from Mad Max: Fury Road. That, or "manic pixie/faerie dream boy". Either of those would be great, or an alien. Really any of the ideas that have been floated on what he might be. For some reason I was thinking Lee might be the last of the G8M base releases. I'm hoping Nix's release lines up with my payday, and that I like him enough to (finally) get the Pro bundle.
