So I guess this 'Blink and you miss the Pro bundle sale' is the new norm?
5-7 days seemed reasonable to me, didn't mind the sales running for 2 weeks, but 1 day is not helpful at all.
Well at least there was a sale...
And the pro bundles do sit in the 'still new' releases for a day or two, but of course the 'day of' sale deals dissapear the next day.
Silas 8 did have that 40% off related items the next day if you bought him or his bundles, but that's not quite the same.
I still show the sale as working. My coupon is still there in the Exclusive Offers under Messages and still works, even though it was supposed to expire on Thursday. Plus I'm assuming that Silas will work like Babina where he's just sort of constantly in one of the categories for at probably the full two weeks (not sure, males tend to only get a week lately).
The coupon is still there for me, but the introductory sale page isn't. I'm just seeing today's sale, fast grab and freebies. This is what my observation is about.
Also the 40% off associated items thing came the next day, and only lasted a day.
There wasn’t a specific page for Silas, he was simply the main highlight on the PA sale page for that day. He’s still listed in the “still new” category (as well as his add-ons), which gives him exactly the same discounts as on release day.
It was the same for Babina.
I believe only people who bought the Pro Bundle get the 40% coupon the following day.
@LosingSignal, Babina 8 was treated the same as Silas 8 is now being treated: in Debut for one day, then Still New for two weeks. (At least I expect Silas 8 products to stay in Still New for two weeks.) The coupons were different, but coupons are always changing from offer to offer, especially during an event sale. What we aren't seeing this time 'round is the new figure having a separate sales page with additional offers. Daz spoiled us over the past couple of years with all the offers for $X of free DOs with purchase, and now it feels strange not to have them.
After 52 Pro Bundles, the loss is high in particular if the sales decrease at the same time.
For example I purchased only 8 of them but I own 25 core figures. The most of Pro Bundle items are not enough good to seduce me no matter the free DO offer.
This may sound silly, but I purchase the pro bundles mainly for the hair and to a slightly lesser extent the outfits. Sometimes the characters are 'gotta haves' but I can always use more hairstyles! Plus expanding my library of 'mix and match' for skin textures is helpful as well when dialing in custom characters.
Pose packs are just a bonus. I generally don't buy those as standalones, as the pro bundles give me a pretty good starting point and I usually end up tweaking the poses more than a bit anyways. With exceptions, where a pose pack might particularly interest me and if the price is right of course! Say, if the pose pack includes nunchucks with the nunchuck poses...

Ive been a very spooky girl this year, so please oh please bring us Kenji 8 and a bunch of artist created figure add ons so we can have some stylized but handsome male figures to match our stylized but pretty female figures.

For me it comes down to, "does the pro bundle cost less than the items I want individually?" With most offers, the answer is yes, because I usually want the core figure, one or both of the included characters and both of the hairs. But that's not always the case. I didn't like any of the hairs released with Silas, in the bundle or not. (Samsil, I miss you!) So it was less costly to get Silas and the characters I liked. One was in the bundle, but the other wasn't.
If I'm going to buy the qualifier anyway, I'll get my free stuff, too. But I've yet to buy a pro bundle because of the "buy this bundle get these things free" offer(s).However, I can understand the appeal to someone whose runtime feels empty when they try to put a scene together.
I feel the same, up to a point. Sometimes a pose pack will be released that has one or more poses that I know I can use as is, more or less. Depending on the sale price, I've been known to buy a pose pack on the strength of a single pose. (Though not at release, not for just one pose.)
And as long as I'm here, I'd like add my voice, (again,) to those begging for…

I rubber stamp what L'Adair said; all of it. But I buy all the male Pro Bundles regardless of content because I want to encourage Daz to continue their affirmative action policy. There are some artists that make poses that are so naturally expressive that I buy their packs upon release: Aeon Soul, Faber Inc, Shimuzu, Those Things. And I go to them first for whatever I'd like to do quickly. Because I can be quite slow.
I'm hoping for another excellent skin---whoever's next. Babina 8's skin had cheek pores and looked so good that she replaced Zelara 8 on my main character.
Seeing as I just bought the last Genesis 8 toon character I didn't have, I would go for a Guy 8 pro bundle & addons as good as the Girl 8's release. I mean it's not like Genesis 9 is coming soon.
I would also go for a Sakura 8 male pro bundle counterpart if they themed it like Speed Racer but for the addons add a few addons for Trixie, his mom & Chim-Chim.

Apparently the teenagers are selling particularly well this generation. Odd, that.
I know it's nice that we are finally getting these male teen bundles for this generation to balance out all of the female bundles.

I am basing the "adult" on the fact that he has anatomical element textures, and the pro bundle comes with the anatomical elements. DAZ does that with adult humans only.

...it needs to if only for parity sake with Dog 8. Crikey we even have a new Cow and Bull as well as all of AM's critters.
The new Daz Housecat is essentially Mil Cat that doesn't load in at the size of a shetland pony and has dForce fur. Otherwise is the same base model which has become pretty long in the tooth. We're talking going on 15 years. Weight mapping and improved rigging would be a major benefit for posing and shaping.
We need a cat that bends more like...a cat.
