Like the 1,000 female base figure by now?
She looks like Genesis 8's Ophelia. She looks like Olivia Wilde in the face. Lousy offer. I think I'll pass...don't need another female anyway.

I like her and her bundle items, but unless my cart gymnastics are weak she's pretty steep for an intro offer. D: I'll probably have to wishlist and pick her up later.

Oh well...if we have to wait every two months for a male to appear...I can handle that. And it makes it more fun with the added anticipation. Plus I save more money.

More Genesis 8 please! Not feeling the need for a G9 at the moment. If G9 doesn't show up until 2021 or later, won't hurt my feelings!
As for CJ8, she's been added to my 'wishlisted until later as a possible future pro bundle associated freebie pick, or if a killer sale happens or something' list. The deal for CJ8 was rather underwhelming, and I'm patient that way. I did this with Kala and Sanjay as well, as well as a couple of other core G8 characters. Patience pays off sometimes!
I'd love to see 80 or more Genesis 8 core figures once it's all said and done. Among other things, it encourages diversity a bit more. We have plenty of caucasian ladies already, so PAs may be more inclined to give us more diverse characters. Once we jump to G9, then the wave of caucasians just starts all over again... Mind you, I have nothing against Victora, Michael, etc. and have a number of the core character 'usual suspects' in my library. But yeah...
So yeah, Daz, keep milking Genesis 8 for all it's worth!

Gen 9 should really kick off with Cat 9, though - 9 lives and all that...

Probably depends on how long it's released for. The current rate is roughly 2 per month, so it will probably continue on like that until Genesis 9 arrives, and continue on with 9 doing the same. They're all basically just packaging a character with a few outfits and pose packs in a vague, often slightly confused theme.
There's still quite a large number of themes and ethnicities not covered though. I mean, even though people complain about so many "white" female characters there are many different "white" ethnicities, and very few of them are represented by official characters (though half of that is probably several characters basically having the almost exact same face with those almost ubiquitous deep nasolabial folds). There's no non stylized Japanese character, even though there's 4 characters with Japanese names, and only 3 characters for the whole of Asia, no Arabic, no etc. etc. etc.
Creatures are also still woefully under-represented in the G9 'core' series, and maybe in general. Sure, I can make do with Minotaur 6, but a Minotaur 8 would be nice, as an example... Reptillian 6 also comes to mind, you know, 'cuz of the tail.
Centaur 8 M/F was pretty easy as 'upgrading' goes, but there are a lot more creatures out there that haven't been upgraded from the V4/M4 or early Genesis era. Sure, the meshes may be passable, but texture maps in general have improved a lot in a lot of cases since then.
Aliens have been getting better representation with G8, even though most aren't 'core' figures, but I still prefer the 'classic' shapes.
The 'add on' figures help round out some of the other ethnicities a bit better, but as pointed out, still some holes there. Fortunately, I suppose, there are 'non core' G8 base add on characters that help fill some of this void.
Still no African American old folks. We have white ones. We have Asian ones....
I'm still waiting for an authentic looking Native American couple.

Oops, there was a preview thanks to saving over the Dain 8 Promo - but since we don't know to what extent that was the correct information and to what extent it was inforamtion relating to Dain 8 that hadn't been replaced please don't go building on what it seemed to say.
