wow Stezza that bridge is amazing. I started modelling it a while ago for a phantom render and ended up downloading a file for sketchup I think.

Love your wacky modelling. Carrara is lucky to have you.

    Thanks fellow Carrarians smiley

I'll zip up the harbour bridge if it's not too big a file and post it wink

in the meantime, today I started to model a wacky B17 from a cube and got this far so that it can be added to by Mysty or anyone else who wants to have a go at it..

maybe a starter for someone to practice on... it's in the zip file

Stezza, your work is a constant inspiration.  The bridge in particular was stunning.  If I ever get serious about Carrara, learning to model will be the focus.

Thanks for showing what is possible.

I would like to associate myself with the gentleman's remarks.  I like to think that I've gotten pretty good at modeling, then I see Stezza's latest creations and realize I have a long way to go.  Well done again, Dave.

I have never used the polyhedron in the modelling room... like, why would you cheeky

but then I thought why not try it out you'll never gnome what will happen! so instead of starting with a cube or sphere I used a polyhedron

    and boned and morphed it!

and ended up with this fella!

My first thought was a spoon in the golf bag.  Or maybe a brassie ...
