    When running the new version, I get the following error:

    ".../Studio Library/Scripts/Riversoft Art/Clothing Conver/Foot Poser.dse can not be found in a mapped content directory. Check the installation and try again."

    The issue persists after redownloading and reinstalling the script.

    Checking the folder in Explorer shows a file called 'Clothing Converter Foot Poser.dse' but no 'Foot Poser.dse'.

    Copying 'Clothing Converter Foot Poser.dse' and renaming the copy to 'Foot Poser.dse' resolves the issue. Looks like the file just needs to be renamed or the script needs to be pointed to the right name.

    Whoops!  Good catch!  It looks like Daz renamed the file when they packaged it (and I didn't catch it).

    Thank you for your answer about new features. Now I have the same problem than Greys, but with G2F/G8F cloting converter : no Foot Poser.dse.

    As far as I can see this is a tutorial, not a product that will automatically smarten up the smart data. It tells you what to do using DS’s existing functions to edit/add smart data.

    It is a tutorial, but it is a very good one.  I picked it up the other day on the sale, and just went through it this afternoon.  I've tried multiple times to figure out smart content, including with help from people here on the forums and never been able to get it to work right.  Following this tutorial I got it right the very first time.  It's very well explained and demonstrated.  I'm a very happy customer with this tutorial.

I've run into this manually transferring with sickleyield's tutorial of editing the scene id before and usually it's the arm angle before transferring rigging/baking rotations that's the issue, not sure if that also applies to the script though.

    Perhaps this is a Daz problem and causes incompatibilty bteween G3 and G8

    Run the convertor script again for the gloves only, and they fit better, though the tips of the fingers still seem to be too long.

    Oh absoulutely! I only mentioned it because it was a recurrent issue with most gloves so I wasn't sure if it was a bug or an area expected to have issues. I've just been manually converting those gloves myself using the scene-id method as I test each outfit, since I found smoothing and collision still gave a weird lumpy look in a lot of cases due to the offset. I'll give jtbethel's hint a go.

    (And I just realised I posted two comments with issues and never stopped to say thank you and how much easier this excellent tool is making my life! Thank you! )

    Your video walkthrough of how to convert heels was immensly helpful! I got the G2F converter at release and loved it so much I had to get this one. And following your tutorial, I was quickly able to convert a few of my outfits that I had the most trouble with autofit. Your products are pretty intuitive once you provide a quick step-by-step like that - so thanks! I just picked up Pose Blender and Bone Doctor since my next step is poses!

    I am happy to hear that!  I am glad the video helped. I pride myself on making things easy to use.  Personally, I would rather have something easy to use than the most powerful gizmo that I never use because I can't figure it out smiley

    That is very strange.  Can you change in Data/RiverSoft Art/Common/RSCCConstants.dsa, the output_debug = false statement to output_debug = true, and then rerun and post the log of the run?

    For the  RSCCConstants.dsa, you needed to open it in a text editor.  But I don't think it matters in this case.  It is finding a parse error in a very simple file: RSConstants.dsa.  It looks like your files might be corrupted.  I would try uninstalling and reinstalling.

    Some scripts don't work if they are installed with Daz Connect. Has this one be tested and known to work when it is installed with Daz Connect?

    Ooh.  Good call.  I don't believe it will work if installed by Daz Connect.  The script tries to write data to the RiverSoft Art/Data directory which Daz Connect jealously guards.  Try to install with DIM or manually, not into the /cloud directories.

    Can Daz be made aware of this and fix it so that it only loads with DIM or manually? I was having some problems with it also so just uninstalled it and the reinstalled it with DIM. When I went to the utilities it shows the upside down triangle in a circle which usually means it needs to be installed from DAZ Connedt so normally I would have it load it again even though the picture was colored. This time I didn't have it install again and it works now in all 4 sets I have. Thanks for making me aware of this.

    You could update the script to prompt the user for a non-Connect library to save data in, and then remember the location so the user only has to enter it once. V3DigiTimes does this in the Scene Optimizer. It works fine when installed with Daz Connect. Forcing a user to only install with DIM seems restrictive.

    What version of DS are you using?  If you open RSConstants.dsa in a text editor, what does it look like (or post it here)?

    I have several of your products (but none of the clothing converters), and I have installed them with Daz Connect. I have not seen any error messages popping up from them. So, maybe you are right about something else going on. One difference about Daz Connect installation is that each product will have a its own copy of your "common" folder, so it isn't really common. Do the billboards, Expression Mixer, look At Me Pose Control, Pose Blender, Bone Doctor Pose Control, or Pose Randomizer store information in that data folder you mentioned? I'm wondering if they are supposed to be storing some settings that they are not storing for me because I installed them with Daz Connect.
