    Oddly enough, my local newspaper had new Dick Tracey comic strips at least into the 1980s.  I remember them doing a George Orwell's 1984 pastiche villain company in... well... 1984, in the form of a phone company called Big Brother Phone Service, or something close to that... and a plot point was that they were secretly, quietly turning on your phone at home and listening in on your conversations.

    Dick Tracey was still carried in the newspaper funny pages when I was young.  I didn't follow it consistently, but I remember the art style.  In color, there is the Warren Beatty movie.  TCM showed a few of the old Dick Tracy black and white movies.  Fandom has a Dick Tracey wiki if anyone wants to go into more detail on the villains.

    was ;looking at some ancient art to see what a minotaur should be like

    with particular attention to the feet/hoofs?  i don't know what i seeing
