...well, never cashed in my October PC coupon. That makes something like four or five this year.

Already had most of the items in the various PC Anniversary Bundles. (some were weekly freebies).

Most DOs are already PC items (save for the expensive Starter and Pro bundles), older content I already have, or just not a theme I work in.

    OK, that complaint aside.

Here is the updated test of the "Out of the Shadows" pic.

Fixed the hands as best I could. (some bends in RL jut do not work in the virutal form and had to extrapolate the grip as all the pics I could find were right handed). The gun butt is shaped a bit odd compared to many RL firearms which made it a bit challenging, but as the scene takes place in the future, I needed high tech looking weapon (alas no models of any actual Shadowrun firearms).

Also gave the elf shooter cybereyes and did a bit more morphing of his face (never saw his face in the last pic as his back was turned to the camera).

Very nicely refined. I'll tell you the thought that ran through my head when I saw the first version of this scene: "Well, there go his hands..."

That background look like one of the scenes in my Cabela's Dangerous Hunts game. I've seen a couple that remind me of it

If you're talking about my render, Frank, that's Stonemason's Winter Kingdom: Castle Ruins. Great set, but then it is Stonemason. :)

where do yoos put your DS \Content directory?

do you put it on a separate hd partition?

i changed the default install paths and ended up with a \My Library folder, but no \content folder. now i don't know where to plop my zip installs.

when i unistalled 4.5, i deleted the folders, had content manager folder under a folder named QS.
but when i installed the 4.6 to a new \studio folder, the QS folder i deleted came back...

My library or My DAZ 3D Library is the Content folder just a new name. But Remember the DAZ Zips have a content FOLDER that holds the content OPEN it and install the folders Below it.

Yes to data under My Library and that's used by DIM so only needed there I believe.
Here is my folder NO Content folder in it.

Are you installing with DIM or manually installing the zips

I'm thinking Misty is just Unzipping to the folder by hand, which will place a Content folder in My Library and cause a nesting error.

    Thanks!!!

    manually.

i arrange new content on my lil netbook, then copy the finito runtime to my production pc. the DS directory structure is still all new to me.

almost done, think i've enough moola left to buy point of impact. then try tc2 on Machiko. and Voila!
