No problem - I was interested to see if the Horse 2 textures worked.  Obviously a great idea on the part of Deepsea to base the Cow on Horse 2 so that those textures can be used.  Great figures..

Back when the 3DMark2001 benchmark was released, they had a 'cheat' mode where there were battle cows floating in the sky.  This makes me want to strap a rocket launcher onto the new Daz cow...

    Good Day

First of all thank you for your comments and support my products
I just wanted to give you some details about Cow Creation.
The textures were made with the Foundry Mary software from personal shooting that I made on cows.
To answer a few comments on the anatomy of the animal, Marguerite has a Natural Shape Legs morph to make it legs realistic.

Denver has not a fliiped texture of Marguerite but it's own Texture.

Each product has it's own JCMs and MCMs for the skinning.

    Thanks

Yes! Hopefully, someone makes a goat or a sheep out of the DAZ Horse 2 too. >w<

Or from the dog, since that's more their size.

I actually really like these characters, mini cowgirl and all! It would be cool to see even more shapes and new breeds for the horse, too. Rural scenes rule!

It's not about size, but for the hooves and the teeth. Besides, like the human figures, there can always be a separate scaling morph.

I'll checkout later, since that's my experience with new releases lately.

Deepsea  So glad to finally have a cow that looks like a real cow! Which species is that cow?

Are you going to make an add-on with other species like Scottish Highland, Aubrac with its beautiful eyes circled with white, Salers with its superb horns, Texas Longhorns,  ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cattle_breeds, https://www.elandore.com/single-post/2016/07/01/Guide-pour-reconnaitre-les-differentes-races-de-bovins-en-France

I leave in Corsica (France). This is a wild local cow. Most farm animals live in freedom Here.

As a PA, I've found stuff like Tane and other figures really inspiring in taking figures to extremes. I'm happy to snatch up the cow and calf!

I love your Cow and Calf set - I'm so glad I didn't buy the Baby Bundle or yesterday's Tika 8 Bundle, or I wouldn't have had the budget for this!

Can I add +1 for a few extra breeds?

So after searching deepse’s store for the deer morph I couldn’t find it anywhere, until I unchecked hide purchased items lol...I’m glad I have it but feel bad I don’t remember it being released or buying it :/

I've love to buy the cow & calf too & will when I can afford it. The older models now look like painted cardboard boxes in high resolution iray renders.

Hm. Cow8 has a good head and nice hindquarters, but something about her screams uncanny valley. Don't really know what. The poses? Something about her shoulders? With these poses, when she moves, cow looks somehow a bit like a hybrid between cows and horses.

As a child, I spent many years on my grandfather's small dairy farm ( 300 Holsteins), so I was really excited to see these beautiful cows! Wonderful work, Deepsea. The faces are really well done.

@Cybersox, children often go out to call the cows in for milking and taking them out to pasture, we didn't even need dogs, and never used sticks or crooks. We always had a boss cow, and where she went, the herd followed. And I don't know what they are called in France where Deepsea lives, but in the old days they usually called the girls milkmaids. Bulls are another matter entirely, none of the family farms near us kept any ( used A. I. ) - dairy bulls were too expensive and really dangerous.

Thank you Deepsea. This is certainly a pleasant surprise. I am in need of bovines and was torn between buying the older models or waiting for HW3D's morph for their horse. Any plans for a bull and various breeds in the future? On a slightly sadder note, between these cows and HW3Ds new deer morphs, my bank account will be crying this weekend.

I think I've met Marguerite or one of her cousins wandering on roads near my family's village ;)
(My father's side of the family is from Corsica. My parents and I live on the continent but I always feel like I'm going home when I go back there)

Corsica?! Wow, what a beautiful place. I've never been, but I've seen documentaries and articles. You're a lucky person :)

Thanks so much for the cow....I really love animals and that's two you've supplied so far, so keep up the good work. Some of us really do appreciate them :).

Somehow, the mind boggles at taking a horse and turning it into... a cow!  It's not another human figure, so it's got to count as different, right? ;-)

If you think that is strange you need to see how Harry the Horse came into existence...

Agreed. Looking at the Hivewire forum, Chris has made the Harry the horse mesh turn into every kind of 4 legged animal under the sun

While this looks like a great release and something that was really needed, it's not for me as the cow looks like a breed I never really see here in TX. based on the shape and horns, especially the horns it looks more European, like a French Abondance breed. I am used to seeing  Angus, Brahman, Hereford and Holstein which this one is the closest to resembling IMO. Wonder if we'll see more morphs on this cow base, that would be cool since there are a ton of cattle breeds. I'd love to see a good longhorn morph, I drive by a small herd of them daily and they are majestic creatures.

Ah, that picture explains the legs - I was thinking they were too short. Can the legs be lengthened, just a little? I'm think that could pass as an Aberdeen Angus.

I second the request for other breeds, especially a Heiland Coo smiley

Still better than the alternatives we've got, which aren't many ;)

At least no one is likely to beg for muscle morphs to make a combat cow... are they?
