True, but free items didn't stop. Last one had 4*20$ free item with it? G8 pro Centaur didn't have free items, but Centaur was part of the PA sale.
Silas pro bundle reminds me a bit to Darius pro bundle. (Same two hairstyles.) Base char might have improved a bit, rest is just personal taste who likes which PA's style better.

I am very poor this week, so cannot afford the whole bundle, but I am interesting in this: https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-sleuth-detective-outfit-for-genesis-8-males. I am wondering if it's possible to put guns in those holsters without warping them too badly?
That was my first impression too. He's not a twin, but he's got that vibe. Which makes him perfect for a character I have in mind ... but lack the funds for until sales pick up. Oh well (there's always another sale ;) )
Snatched him up but quick! Really like him and all of his morphs - but in my own fantasy quasi-reality I would really love if Daz offered more diverse bundles beside the Pro and Starter; like a Character Bundle (for just the main character and his/her morphs), and maybe a Character, Clothes & Pose Bundle... Hmm just a thought. It's a double-edged sword because I no longer buy the Pro Bundles anymore due to the fact it's a waste of money when I don't want over half the items, but I did manage to get all the bits I did want for a great price with the discount from past Pro Bundle purchases....BUT if I stop buying the Pro I will eventually stop getting the discount ...(SIGH!)...
He looks to be a step down in realism in my eyes. Babina is more realistic but I do guess Silas fulfills the niche of a young black man or even older teen as Darius must be in his 40s. I do hope there will be an old black man and old black woman pro bundles like there was for old Chinese woman & man as well as old white man & woman.
I really like the detective clothing but otherwise the clothing in the set is the equivalent of the 'boring white girl' complaint others make about some of the other DAZ characters in pro bundles.
He looks great! Picked the pro-bundle and the add-ons "Malik" and "Myles." Was hoping for Yuzuru character, but Silas just looked too good to pass up while I get an extra 20% off and had a gift card to use.

Love at first sight on Silas. Kudos to whoever did the promo images with those great expressions. I also love the fact that his overall wardrobe is sci fi instead of hip hop - nice change of genre for a Black figure. One nitpick - I wish the dforce Elite Commander jacket didn't have the split up the back. I can see arguments for it, but I think it would have looked a lot better without it.
On the other hand, the sale itself is suprisingly poor. Almost all of the other sales have had back catalog freebies and stacking discounts if you buy add-ons. This one doesn't. I hope Silas doesn't have poor sales numbers and then is used as proof that male figures, especially non-White ones, don't sell well.

Nice figure, not crazy about all the sci-fi outfits but HOLY HELL that detective set is straight fire! It's like 3 different wants of mine for Gen 8 rolled into 1:A 30s-40s friendly outfit, a nice detectives hat for the times, AND a shoulder strap gun holster that can fit a number of different guns! This wardrobe set is Christmas for me!:D Wish the holster came with a 30s/40s style handgun but that's certainly no dealbreaker!

Just finished buying pretty much everything, including all characters, hair, and outfits. Males, their hairs, and clothes are always welcome and when they are attractive and versatile, that is a huge bonus for me. Sci-Fi, Contemporary, and Historical (Early 20th Century) very useful. While I do not recognize the person Silas is reported to look like, he is very appealing and I welcome all diverse characters into my runtime.
The coupon was a nice bonus. Added a gift card to my cart.

I have to admit I am a little disapointed in base Silas' texture. There is no clean shaven texture for him at all in the base, and while I don't mind scruff on the men it IS a fair few times I want them to be clean shaven. I can't help but wonder why there is no clean shaven option with him, as well as disapointed.
Other than that I think he is a nice looking guy, haven't played with him much yet though as I went in here to vent a little about the no clean shaven option :)
An interesting thing to try for a clean shaven look, if you have it. Try making a custom mask for the eyebrow remover, maybe that would work lol.
Whose PA's characters come with "anatomical elements hair"? *baffled*
I mean, I bought a lot of characters in my time here, i.e. male ones, but I never noticed that feature with any of them, be it PA or DAZ Originals (which are generally just PA character bought up by DAZ)...

Luck of the draw I guess. I've bought much fewer products than most regular posters to the forum have and I have of 29 G8M character products and of those I have three G8M character PA products with supplied anatomical hair:
Roderick for Diego 8 (strand based hair style)
Tyrone for Darius 8 (fibre mesh style)
Maxx HD for The Brute 8
And in my eye, they are all good. I suppose for economical folk wanting to learn how to make hair, the Roderick for Diego is most interesting because you can edit the SBH yourself and it's the entire set of hair from head hair to foot hair.
A quick render of him, where I brought his translucency down to 45%. Glad I got him. :D
